| 1 | Atomic spin gyroscope based on 129Xe-Cs comagnetometer显示文摘Atomic spin gyroscope (ASG) based on comagnetometer is a high sensitive and compact gyroscope for future inertial navigation applications. The start-up time was several hours of the demonstrated ASGs based on 3He-K or21 Ne-Rb-K comagnetometer, and only a few inertial navigation applications allow such a long time for preparation. We report the demonstration of an ASG based on 129Xe-Cs comagnetometer, which decreases the start-up time to 10 minutes and decreases the operation temperature by 40% as well. | 4 | Variations and trends of the freezing and thaw- ing index along the Qinghai-Xizang Railway for 1966-2004显示文摘Annual freezing and thawing index of 7 meteorological stations along the Qing- hai-Xizang Railway were calculated based on daily maximum and minimum temperature records for 1966-2004. Trends of annual freezing and thawing index were analyzed using the Mann-Kendall test and a simple linear regression method. The results show that: 1) The mean annual freezing indices range from 95 to 2300℃·d and the mean annual thawing indi- ces range from 630 to 3250℃·d. The mean annual freezing index of the 7 stations exhibited decreasing trends with decreasing rate of -16.6– -59.1℃·d /10a. The mean annual thawing index of these 7 stations showed increasing trends with the related decreasing rate is 19.83–45.6℃·d /10a. 2) The MK trend test indicated the significant decreasing trends (significant at < 0.05 significant level) in the annual freezing index for most stations except for Golmud. The significant increasing trends can be observed in the annual thawing index for 4 stations except Golmud and Tuotuohe. | 5 | Multidisciplinary design optimization of adaptive wing leading edge显示文摘Adaptive wing can significantly enhance aircraft aerodynamic performance, which refers to aerodynamic and structural opti-mization designs. This paper introduces a two-step approach to solve the interrelated problems of the adaptive leading edge. In the first step, the procedure of airfoil optimization is carried out with an initial configuration of NACA 0006. On the basis of the combination of design of experiment (DOE), response surface method (RSM) and genetic algorithm (GA), an adaptive air-foil can be obtained whose lift-to-drag ratio is larger than the baseline airfoil's at the given angle of attack and subsonic speed.The next step is to design a compliant structure to achieve the target airfoil shape, which is the optimization result of the previous step. In order to minimize the deviation of the deformed shape from the target shape, the load path representation topology method is presented. This method is developed by way of GA, with size and shape optimization incorporated in it simul-taneously. | 6 | Plasma spray of biofunctional(Mg, Sr)-substituted hydroxyapatite coatings for titanium alloy implants显示文摘Plasma-sprayed hydroxyapatite (HA) coatings have been widely utilized in load-bearing titanium alloy implants. In this study, Mg, Sr co-substituted HA ((Mg,Sr)-HA) nano-scale powders have been synthesized, which are further used to prepare (Mg,Sr)-HA coatings on Ti-6A1-4V alloys in order to improve the biological functions. The average size of (Mg,Sr)-HA nano particles is ~75nm. The average bonding strength for (Mg,Sr)-HA coating and samples after heat treatment at 500℃ or 600℃ for 3h are 26.17±2.11 MPa, 36.07±4.48 MPa and 37.07 ±2.95 MPa, respectively. There is a significantly increase of bonding strength likely due to low residual stress after heated treatment.MC3T3-E1 cells show a high proliferation rate when cultured with (Mg,Sr)-HA coating extract compared to the normal culture medium, which also exhibit large extension and depositi on of extracellular matrices when adhered on the coating surfaces. | 7 | Characterization of H3 methylation in regulating oocyte development in cyprinid fish显示文摘Histone post-modifications are important epigenetic markers involved in multiple cellular processes via regulation of gene transcription or remodeling of chromatin structure. Oocyte development is a critical process under rigorous control to prevent the generation of aberrant gametes. However, the regulatory mechanism of oocyte early development is not well-understood due to the tiny size and poor distinguishability of the gonad in juvenile stages. Here, two cyprinid hybrid fishes, a sterile allotriploid fish and a gynogenetic hybrid fish with delayed oocyte development, provided research models to investigate the mechanisms involved. We used cytogenetic and molecular methods to confirm the pachytene arrest of oocytes in allotriploid fish and gynogenetic hybrid fish. On the basis of these developmental differences, we screened 21 different histone H3 modifications by ELISA and found that four modifications(H3 K4 me3, H3 K9 me3, H3 K79 me, and H3 K79 me3) differed significantly in the two cyprinid hybrid fishes. Changes in histone methylation at the three residues(H3 K4, K9, K79) were caused by specific methyltransferases and demethylases. | 8 | Rapid heating thermal shock study of ultra high temperature ceramics using an in situ testing method显示文摘In this paper,the rapid cooling thermal shock behaviors of ZrB_(2)-SiC ceramics were measured using traditional water quenching method,and the rapid heating thermal shock behaviors of ZrB_(2)-SiC ceramics were investigated using a novel in situ testing method.The measured critical thermal shock temperature difference for rapid cooling thermal shock was 373.6℃;however,the critical thermal shock temperature difference for rapid heating thermal shock of ZrB_(2)-SiC ceramics was measured to be as high as 1497.2℃.The thermal stress distribution states after rapid cooling thermal shock and rapid heating thermal shock testing were analyzed using finite element analysis(FEA)method.The FEA results showed that there is a tensile stress existed on the surface for rapid cooling thermal shock,whereas there is a compressive stress existed on the surface for rapid heating thermal shock.The difference of thermal stress distribution resulted in the difference of the critical temperature difference for rapid cooling thermal shock and rapid heating thermal shock. | Rujie HE Zhaoliang QU Dong LIANG | 2017 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2017,6,4: | 3 |

| 19 | Mechanical properties of additively-manufactured cellular ceramic structures:A comprehensive study显示文摘Cellular ceramic structures(CCSs)are promising candidates for structural components in aerospace and modern industry because of their extraordinary physical and chemical properties.Herein,the CCSs with different structural parameters,i.e.,relative density,layer,size of unit cells,and structural configuration,were designed and prepared by digital light processing(DLP)-based additive manufacturing(AM)technology to investigate their responses under compressive loading systematically.It was demonstrated that as the relative density increased and the size of the unit cells decreased,the mechanical properties of one-layer CCSs increased.The mechanical properties of three-layer CCSs were more outstanding than those of the CCSs with one and two layers.In addition,structural configurations also played a vital role in the mechanical properties of the CCSs.Overall,the mechanical properties of the CCSs from superior to inferior were that with the structural configurations of modified body-centered cubic(MBCC),Octet,SchwarzP,IWP,and body-centered cubic(BCC).Furthermore,structural parameters also had significant impacts on the failure mode of the CCSs under compressive loading.As the relative density increased,the failure mode of the one-layer CCSs changed from parallel-vertical-inclined mode to parallel-vertical mode.It was worth noting that the size of the unit cells did not alter the failure mode.Inclined fracture took a greater proportion in the failure mode of the multi-layer CCSs.But it could be suppressed by the increased relative density.Similarly,the proportions of the parallel-vertical mode and the fracture along a specific plane always changed with the variation of the structural configurations.This study will serve as the base for investigating the mechanical properties of the CCSs. | Xueqin ZHANG Keqiang ZHANG Bin ZHANG Ying LI Rujie HE | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,12: | 1 |
