2High-throughput site-specific N-glycoproteomics reveals glyco-signatures for liver disease diagnosis显示文摘The glycoproteome has emerged as a prominent target for screening biomarkers,as altered glycosylation is a hallmark of cancer cells.In this work,we incorporated tandem mass tag labeling into quantitative glycoproteomics by developing a chemical labeling-assisted complementary dissociation method for the multiplexed analysis of intact N-glycopeptides.Benefiting from the complementary nature of two different mass spectrometry dissociation methods for identification and multiplex labeling for quantification of intact N-glycopeptides,we conducted the most comprehensive site-specific and subclass-specific N-glycosylation profiling of human serum immunoglobulin G(IgG)to date.By analysing the serum of 90 human patients with varying severities of liver diseases,as well as healthy controls,we identified that the combination of IgG1-H3N5F1 and IgG4-H4N3 can be used for distinguishing between different stages of liver diseases.Finally,we used targeted parallel reaction monitoring to successfully validate the expression changes of glycosylation in liver diseases in a different sample cohort that included 45 serum samples.Zhenyu Sun Bin Fu Guoli Wang Lei Zhang Ruofan Xu Ying Zhang Haojie Lu 2023National Science Review2023,10,1:1

4For more and purer hydrogen-the progress and challenges in water gas shift reaction显示文摘The water gas shift(WGS) reaction is a standard reaction that is widely used in industrial hydrogen production and removal of carbon monoxide. The improved catalytic performance of WGS reaction also contributes to ammonia synthesis and other reactions. Advanced catalysts have been developed for both high and low-temperature reactions and are widely used in industry. In recent years, supported metal nanoparticle catalysts have been researched due to their high metal utilization. Low-temperature catalysts have shown promising results, including high selectivity, high shift rates, and higher activity potential. Additionally, significant progress has been made in removing trace CO through the redox reaction in electrolytic cell. This paper reviews the development of WGS reaction catalysts, including the reaction mechanism, catalyst design, and innovative research methods. The catalyst plays a crucial role in the WGS reaction, and this paper provides an instant of catalyst design under different conditions. The progress of catalysts is closely related to the development of advanced characterization techniques.Furthermore, modifying the catalyst surface to enhance activity and significantly increase reaction kinetics is a current research direction. 5Current-Induced Magnetic Switching in an L1_(0) FePt Single Layer with Large Perpendicular Anisotropy Through Spin–Orbit Torque显示文摘In this study,current-induced partial magnetization-based switching was realized through the spin–orbit torque(SOT)in single-layer L1_(0) FePt with a perpendicular anisotropy(K_(u⊥))of 1.19×10^(7) erg·cm^(-3)(1 erg·cm^(-3)=0.1 J·m^(-3)),and its corresponding SOT efficiency(βDL)was 8×10^(-6) Oe·(A·cm^(-2))^(-1)(1 Oe=79.57747 A·m^(-1)),which is several times higher than that of the traditional Ta/CoFeB/MgO structure reported in past work.The SOT in the FePt films originated from the structural inversion asymmetry in the FePt films since the dislocations and defects were inhomogeneously distributed within the samples.Furthermore,the FePt grown on MgO with a granular structure had a larger effective SOT field and effi-ciency than that grown on SrTiO_(3)(STO)with a continuous structure.The SOT efficiency was found to be considerably dependent on not only the sputtering temperature-induced chemical ordering but also the lattice mismatch-induced evolution of the microstructure.Our findings can provide a useful means of efficiently electrically controlling a magnetic bit that is highly thermally stable via SOT.Kaifeng Dong Chao Sun Laizhe Zhu Yiyi Jiao Ying Tao Xin Hu Ruofan Li Shuai Zhang Zhe Guo Shijiang Luo Xiaofei Yang Shaoping Li Long You 2022Engineering2022,8,5:0
