2Observation of inhomogeneity in congruent LiTaO3 crystal显示文摘The inhomogeneity in a congrunet LiTaO3 crystal has been observed by transmission synchrotron topography.Many extraordinary regions exist in congruent LiTaO3 crystal and they often show diffraction intensity different from that of ordinary regions in synchrotron topographs.Differential thermal analysis indiates that the Curie temperature of the extraordinary region is lower than that of ordinary region,and the extraordinary region is really a high defect density region.The diffraction contrast of the extraordinary region in synchrotron topographs is explained qualitatively by a calculation at the selected wavelength.2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.X.B.Hu H.D.Jiang H.Liu S.S.Jiang Q.Li J.Y.Wang C.Q.Zhang B.Ten 2001Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility2001,,2:0
3Effect of inter-layer strain interaction on the optical properties of Ge/Si(001) island multi-layers显示文摘In this paper we present a study on the influence of the number and the thickness of silicon spacer layer on the optical properties of single-and multi-layers of self assembled Ge/Si(001) islands performed by means of cathodoluminescence spectroscopy,high resolution X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. In single-layer sample,we do not evidence dependence of the island no-phonon emission peak position on the silicon cap-layer thickness. In multi-layer samples having a thin(33 nm) silicon spacer layer the no-phonon emission energy value progressively blue-shifts for an increasing number of island layers. This is interpreted as an enhanced intermixing driven by the strain interaction existing between island layers. On the contrary,island emission energy position is independent on the number of layers in the sample series having a thicker spacer layer(60 nm) . These findings are consistent with the X-ray diffraction observation that islands belonging to different layers have the same composition. 4The Application of Synchrotron Radiation Techniques to the Study of Domain Structures and their Dynamics in Ferroic Crystals显示文摘The recent research work on domain structures and their dynamics in fenoelastic and ferroelectric crystals by white-beam synchrotron radiation topography is summarized.The real-time imaging,fine-beam Laue diffraction,and anomalous-scattering topography were carried out to the study of the domain structures and phase transition in the ferroelastic NdP5O14 and LaP5O14,and ferroelectric KTa1-xNbxO3,(Ba0.25Sr0.75)0.9(K0.5Na0.5)0.2Nb2O6,and KTiOPO4 crystals.Some preliminary results are presented and discussed.S.S.JIANG J.Y.WANG1999同步辐射装置用户科技论文集1999,,1:0
