4A reliability assessment method based on support vector machines for CNC equipment显示文摘With the applications of high technology,a catastrophic failure of CNC equipment rarely occurs at normal operation conditions.So it is difficult for traditional reliability assessment methods based on time-to-failure distributions to deduce the reliability level.This paper presents a novel reliability assessment methodology to estimate the reliability level of equipment with machining performance degradation data when only a few samples are available.The least squares support vector machines(LS-SVM) are introduced to analyze the performance degradation process on the equipment.A two-stage parameter optimization and searching method is proposed to improve the LS-SVM regression performance and a reliability assessment model based on the LS-SVM is built.A machining performance degradation experiment has been carried out on an OTM650 machine tool to validate the effectiveness of the proposed reliability assessment methodology.WU Jun DENG Chao SHAO XinYu XIE S Q 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,7:14
5RADIAL GROWTH OF HUASHAN PINE AND ITS RESPONSE TO CLIMATE显示文摘Huashan pine (Finus armandii Franch) is a poential species for dendroclimatic study. Ring-width cores were sampled for four stands of two sites from the eastern extreme of the Qinling Mountains. The ring-width chronologies developed in this study cover a maximum Period from A.D. 1359 t0 1992 and show high common chronology variance over the common period 1911-1960.All the chronologies are significantly correlated with all others, and the degree of correlation appears related to tree age. Response function analyses reveal that from 41 to 75 Percent of chronology variance can be accounted for by monthly mean air temperature and monthly total precipitation. A sufficiently strong correlation of ringwidth index with May and June rainfall and June temperature exists, implying soil moisture to be a limiting factor for Huashan pine growth. 7Molecular and Epidemiological Characterization of Infant Botulism in Beijing, China显示文摘Laboratory-based pathogen isolation, identification, and toxicity determination were performed on samples from a suspected case of infant botulism. Mice injected with cultures generated from the enema sample and ingested Powered infant formula(PIF) presented typical signs of botulism. Antitoxins to polyvalent botulinum neurotoxins(BoNTs) and monovalent BoNT type B antitoxin had protective effects. Clostridium botulinum isolated from the enema and residual PIF samples were positive for type B toxin. Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE) revealed that the two strains of C. botulinum isolated from the two samples produced indistinguishable pulsotypes.
