| 1 | Hydrothermal pretreatment of rice straw at relatively lower temperature to improve biogas production vict anaerobic digestion显示文摘Although the degradation mechanism of straw anaerobic digestion is still obscure,lower temperature thermop hysical pretreatment might be a feasible way to improve biogas fermentation efficiency and net energy production in whole slurry.In this study,the performances of rice straw(RS)degradation and biogas production were examined at different pretreatment temperatures from 90 ℃ to 130℃ to identify the optimal process.With increasing pretreatment temperature,the change in cellulose and hemicellulose degradation in all the tests was directly related to volatile fatty acids(VFAs)content,but did not correspond to the variation in cumulative methane production.Both 100℃ and 130℃presented similar ideal digestion performances with highest methane yields of 127.6 and 124.6 mL/g TS,respectively,which were 22.80%and 19.83%higher than that noted in the control.Although test at 100 ℃pretreatment,which achieved 12.8%higher net energy production from RS than that observed in the control,could be considered as the optimal choice,the surplus biogas could only meet 75.9%of energy requirement for pretreated water temperature shift.Nevertheless,mesophilic or thermophilic fermentation,lower pretreatment water input,and reuse of excess heat are recommended as feasible working conditions for improving net biogas production. | Tao Luo Hailong Huang Zili Mei Fei Shen Yihong Ge Guoquan Hu Xi Meng | 2019 | Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,6: | 1 |
| 2 | O-GlcNAcylation Coordinates Glutaminolysis by Regulating the Stability and Membrane Trafficking of ASCT2 in Hepatic Stellate Cells显示文摘Background and Aims:Recognition of excessive activa-tion of hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)in liver fibrosis prompt-ed us to investigate the regulatory mechanisms of HSCs.We aimed to examine the role of O-GlcNAcylation modifica-tion of alanine,serine,cysteine transporter 2(ASCT2)in HSCs and liver fibrosis.Methods:The expression of O-Glc-NAcylation modification in fibrotic mice livers and activated HSCs was analyzed by western blotting.Immunoprecipita-tion was used to assess the interaction of ASCT2 and O-Glc-NAc transferase(OGT).In addition,ASCT2 protein stability was assayed after cycloheximide(CHX)treatment.The O-GlcNAcylation site of ASCT2 was predicted and mutated by site-directed mutagenesis.Real-time PCR,immunofluores-cence,kit determinations and Seahorse assays were used to clarify the effect of ASCT2 O-GlcNAcylation on HSC glu-taminolysis and HSC activation.Western blotting,immuno-chemistry,and immunohistofluorescence were used to ana-lyze the effect of ASCT2 O-GlcNAcylation in vivo.Results:We observed significantly increased O-GlcNAcylation modi-fication of ASCT2.ASCT2 was found to interact with OGT to regulate ASCT2 stability.We predicted and confirmed that O-GlcNAcylation of ASCT2 at Thr122 site resulted in HSCs activation.We found Thr122 O-GlcNAcylation of ASCT2 me-diated membrane trafficking of glutamine transport and attenuated HSC glutaminolysis.Finally,we validated the expression and function of ASCT2 O-GlcNAcylation after in-jection of AAV8-ASCT2 shRNA in CCl4-induced liver fibrosis mice in vivo.Conclusions:Thr122 O-GlcNAcylation regu-lation of ASCT2 resulted in stability and membrane traf-ficking-mediated glutaminolysis in HSCs and liver fibrosis.Further studies are required to assess its role as a putative therapeutic target. | Feixia Wang Li Chen Biyun Zhang Zhanghao Li Min Shen Li Tang Zili Zhang Jiangjuan Shao Feng Zhang Shizhong Zheng Shanzhong Tan | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,6: | 0 |

| 8 | Spatial heterogeneity of available zinc, copper, and manganese in Xiangcheng Tobacco Planting Fields, Henan Province, China显示文摘Geostatistical methods were used in combina-tion with geographical information system(GIS)technol-ogy to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of available zinc,copper,and manganese in the Xiangcheng tobacco planting fields,Henan province,China.Analysis of the isotropic variogram indicated that the Zn semivar-iogram was well described with the Gaussian model,with the distance of spatial dependence being 900.7m;while the Mn semivariogram was well described with spherical models,with the distance of spatial dependence being 14060m;and,the Cu semivariogram was well described with exponential models,with the distance of spatial dependence being 27860.7m.Mn and Zn were strongly spatially dependent,with the C_(0)/sill being 0.014 and 0.147 in this given region;while Cu was moderately spatially dependent,with the C_(0)/sill being 0.3528.With the kriging analysis,the spatial distribution maps of contents of these three trace elements in the Xiangcheng tobacco planting regions was drawn with the Arcview software.It was found that the soils with higher content of Mn were mainly distributed in the high mountains of the southern part of the given regions,while the soils with higher content of Cu were mainly distributed in the south,decreasing from the south to the north.The soil with contents of Zn in the range of 0.76–1.33 mg/kg existed in the high mountains of the west and middle parts of the investigated regions,accounting for 76.11%of the whole area. | Haisheng CHEN Zili SHEN Guoshun LIU Zhengxian TONG | 2009 | Frontiers in Biology2009,4,4: | 0 |
