| 3 | Transformation relationship among different magnetic minerals within loess-paleosol sediments of the Chinese Loess Plateau显示文摘The dominant magnetic minerals and carriers of magnetic signals within the Chinese Loess Plateau are magnetite, maghemite, hematite, and goethite. In this study, we investigated the provenance and evo- lution of magnetic minerals during loess pedogenesis, using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and optical and electron microscopy, including field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and high- resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). Our results reveal that single- and multiphase mineral assemblages among magnetic minerals in the loess-paleosol sequence have been formed. Partial oxidation of coarse eolian magnetite has occurred in the desert source area and the oxidation degree is enhanced after deposition of the dust upon the Chinese Loess Plateau. This mode of origin resulted in a microtexture consisting of an inner magnetite core surrounded by a hematite rim, and strongly affected the magnetic characteristics of the loess. Goethite coexists with hematite in the loess and paleosol, and nanometer-scale hematite is formed upon goethite rims via dehydration. | 6 | Colored noise-enhanced intrinsic stochastic oscillations in CO oxidation on nanometer-sized Pd particles显示文摘How colored Gaussian noise (CN) affects the intrinsic stochastic oscillations (ISO) of CO oxidation on a nm-sized Pd particle is studied. It is found that the optimal ISO can be enhanced not only by a CN with appropriate noise intensity, but by a CN with appropriate correlation times. Moreover, the optimal ISO can be most greatly enhanced by the CN when the noise intensity or the correlation time is optimal. | 9 | Conformation of Organic Chain in Phase Transition of Hybrid(C1_2H_(25)NH_3)_2MnCl_4显示文摘The structural change in phase transition of hybrid(C 12 H 25 NH 3 ) 2 MnCl 4 was investigated.The temperature and the structures of the phase transition is investigated by thermal gravimetry(TG)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),infrared spectrum(IR)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results suggest that the phase transition is reversible and the structural change arises from the conformation change of the organic chain. | 11 | Residual levels and health risk assessment of trace metals in Chinese resident diet显示文摘Large-scale metal contamination across the food web is an intractable problem due to increasing pollutant emissions,atmospheric transport,and dry and wet deposition of elements.The present study focus on several trace metals that are rarely studied but have special toxicity,including tin(Sn),antimony(Sb),gold(Au),hafnium(Hf),palladium(Pd),platinum(Pt),ruthenium(Ru),tellurium(Te)and iridium(Ir).We investigated trace metals residues and distribution characteristics,and further evaluated the potential health risks from major daily food intakes in 33 cities in China.Sn,Sb,Ir,Hf,and Au were frequently detected in food samples with the concentrations ranged from ND(not detected)to 24.78μg/kg ww(wet weight).Eggs exhibited the highest residual level of all detected metals(13.70±14.70μg/kg ww in sum),while the lowest concentrations were observed in vegetables(0.53±0.17μg/kg ww in sum).Sn accounting for more than 50%of the total trace metals concentration in both terrestrial and aquatic animal origin foods.In terrestrial plant origin foods,Sn and Ir were the most abundant elements.Hf and Au were the most abundant elements in egg samples.In addition,Sb and Ir showed a clear trophic dilution effect in terrestrial environments,while in aquatic ecosystems,Sn,Hf,and Au exhibited obvious trophic amplification effects.The calculated average estimated daily intake(EDI)via food consumption in five regions of China was 0.09μg/(kg·day),implying the health risk of aforementioned elements was acceptable. | Yubing Dai Shuai Sun Rong Cao Haijun Zhang Jiping Chen Ningbo Geng | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2: | 0 |

| 13 | Bimetallic clusters confined inside silicalite-1 for stable propane dehydrogenation显示文摘The noble metal-based bimetallic clusters with high atom utilization and surface energy have been widely applied in heterogeneous catalysis,but the stabilization of these metastable clusters in harsh reaction conditions is quite challenging.Herein,we synthesize a series of Pt-,Pd-,and Ru-based clusters promoted by a second non-noble metal(Zn,Cu,Sn,and Fe),which are confined inside silicalite-1(pure silica,S-1)crystals by a ligand-protected method.The second metal could well stabilize and disperse the noble atoms inside the rigid S-1 zeolites via Si–O–M bonds,thus enabling to lower the usage of expensive noble metals in catalysts.The as-synthesized bimetallic catalysts exhibited excellent performance in non-oxidative propane dehydrogenation(PDH)reaction,which is typically operated above 500℃.The PtZn@S-1,PtCu@S-1,and PtSn@S-1 with only a~0.17 wt.%Pt loading offer a significant enhancement in PDH performance compared with the conventional PtSn/Al_(2)O_(3)catalyst with a 0.5 wt.%Pt loading prepared by impregnation method.Notably,the PtSn@S-1 provides a propane conversion of 45%with a 99%propylene selectivity at 550℃,close to the thermodynamic equilibrium.Furthermore,the PtSn@S-1 exhibits excellent stability during 300 h on stream and high tolerance to regeneration by a simple calcination step. | Xueer Wei Jiawei Cheng Yubing Li Kang Cheng Fanfei Sun Qinghong Zhang Ye Wang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,8: | 0 |
