1Multi-objective short-term scheduling of active distribution networks for benefit maximization of DisCos and DG owners considering demand response programs and energy storage system显示文摘This paper proposes a multi-objective benefit function for operation of active distribution systems considering demand response program(DRP)and energy storage system(ESS).In the active distribution system,active network management(ANM)is applied so that the distribution system equipment is controlled in real-time status based on the real-time measurements of system parameters(voltages and currents).The multi-objective optimization problem is solved using e-constraint method,and a fuzzy satisfying approach has been employed to select the best compromise solution.Two different objective functions are considered as follows:benefit maximization of distribution company(DisCo);benefit maximization of distributed generation owner(DGO).To increase the benefits and efficient implementation of distributed generation(DG),DGO has installed battery as energy storage system(ESS)in parallel with DG unit.Consequently,DGO decides for the battery charging/discharging.DisCo has the ability to exchange energy with the upstream network and DGO.Also,DisCo focuses to study the effect of demand response program(DRP)on total benefit function and consequently its influence on the load profile has been discussed.This model is successfully applied to a 33-bus radial distribution network.Saeed ABAPOUR Sayyad NOJAVAN Mehdi ABAPOUR 2018Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2018,6,1:8
2Effects of the nitrification inhibitor nitrapyrin and tillage practices on yield-scaled nitrous oxide emission from a maize field in Iran显示文摘Nitrification inhibitors can effectively decrease nitrification rates and nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)emission while increasing crop yield under certain conditions.However,there is no information available on the effects of nitrification inhibitors and tillage practices on N_(2)O emissions from maize cropping in Iran.To study how tillage practices and nitrapyrin(a nitrification inhibitor)affect N_(2)O emission,a split factorial experiment using a completely randomized block design with three replications was carried out in Northeast Iran,which has a cold semiarid climate.Two main plots were created with conventional tillage and minimum tillage levels,and two nitrogen(N)fertilizer(urea)management systems(with and without nitrapyrin application)were created as subplots.Tillage level did not have any significant effect on soil ammonium(NH_(4)^(+))and nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))concentrations,cumulative amount and yield-scaled N_(2)O emission,and aboveground biomass of maize,whereas nitrapyrin application showed significant effect.Nitrapyrin application significantly reduced the cumulative amount of N_(2)O emission by 41%and 32%in conventional tillage and minimum tillage practices,respectively.A reduction in soil NO_(3)^(-)concentration by nitrapyrin was also observed.The average yield-scaled N_(2)O emission was 13.6 g N_(2)O-N kg^(-1)N uptake in both tillage systems without nitrapyrin application and was significantly reduced to 7.9 and 8.2 g N_(2)O-N kg^(-1)N uptake upon the application of nitrapyrin in minimum tillage and conventional tillage practices,respectively.Additionally,nitrapyrin application increased maize biomass yield by 4%and 13%in the minimum tillage and conventional tillage systems,respectively.Our results indicate that nitrapyrin has a potential role in reducing N_(2)O emission from agricultural systems where urea fertilizers are broadcasted,which is common in Iran due to the practice of traditional farming.Azam BORZOUEI Ulo MANDER Alar TEEMUSK Alberto SANZ-COBENA Mohammad ZAMAN Dong-Gill KIM Christoph MÜLLER Ali Askary KELESTANIE Parvaneh SAYYAD AMIN Ebrahim MOGHISEH Khadim DAWAR Ana Gabriela PÉREZ-CASTILLO 2021Pedosphere2021,31,2:4
3Recent advances and emerging trends of rare-earth-ion doped spectral conversion nanomaterials in perovskite solar cells显示文摘Organic-inorganic lead halide based perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted unprecedented research interest over last decade.The high performance,combined with merits of low fabrication costs and ease of synthesis make PSCs promising alternate to state of the art silicon(Si)based solar cells.Howeve r,some inherent shortcomings of PSCs are hindering their market dominance over conventional photovoltaic technologies such as transmission loss of sub-bandgap photons,poor stability and hysteresis effects.Recently,use of rare earth(RE)ions doped nanomaterials in PSCs,has been identified as an effective means to address the aforementioned issues by expanding the range of absorption spectra minimizing the non-absorption loss of solar photons,enhancing light scattering and improving operational stability.This article reviews the recent progress in doping rare-earth(RE)ions in the building blocks of PSCs such as semiconductor electrodes and photoactive perovskite layers,and its use as a separate spectral conversion layer in PSCs.The effect of size,shape,constitution and concentration of RE-nanoparticles on the overall performance and device stability will be analyzed in detail.Moreover,we provide an outlook on the opportunities this newly developed field offers and the critical challenges faced in rationally and effectively using RE-ion-doped nanomaterials in PSCs for better operational stability and enhanced performance.Syed Afaq Ali Shah Muhammad Hassan Sayyad Jinghua Sun Zhongyi Guo 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,11:4
4Spatial cluster analysis of human cases of Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever reported in Pakistan显示文摘Background:Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever(CCHF)is a tick-borne viral zoonotic disease that has been reported in almost all geographic regions in Pakistan.The aim of this study was to identify spatial clusters of human cases of CCHF reported in country.Methods:Kulldorff’s spatial scan statisitc,Anselin’s Local Moran’s I and Getis Ord Gi*tests were applied on data(i.e.number of laboratory confirmed cases reported from each district during year 2013).Findings:The analyses revealed a large multi-district cluster of high CCHF incidence in the uplands of Balochistan province near it border with Afghanistan.The cluster comprised the following districts:Qilla Abdullah;Qilla Saifullah;Loralai,Quetta,Sibi,Chagai,and Mastung.Another cluster was detected in Punjab and included Rawalpindi district and a part of Islamabad.Conclusion:We provide empirical evidence of spatial clustering of human CCHF cases in the country.The districts in the clusters should be given priority in surveillance,control programs,and further research.Tariq Abbas Muhammad Younus Sayyad Aun Muhammad 2015Infectious Diseases of Poverty2015,4,1:2
