| 5 | Could Military Commanders’ Good LeadershipInfluence Subordinates’ Smartphone Overdependence? A Serial Mediation Analysis显示文摘Owing to the ubiquitous use of smartphones by soldiers, military researchers have an increasing interest in potentially problematicside effects such as smartphone overdependence. This raises a question regarding the psychological mechanisms underlying thepotentially self-damaging use of smartphones. Here, we address this question by analyzing how heterogeneity in commander’sgood leadership explains subordinate soldiers’ differences in self-control and smartphone use. Specifically, we found thatsubordinate soldiers who thought their commander's leadership was good were self-regulated, less dependent on smartphones,less stressed, and finally had good mental health. This result indicates that commander’s good leadership can be used toestimate whether subordinate soldiers exert control over their impulses and use their smartphones properly. | 6 | Male metaplastic breast cancer with poor prognosis:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Metaplastic breast cancer(MBC)is a rare subtype of breast cancer.They constitute less than 1%of breast cancer cases and are much rarer in males.There are few reports of MBC because of its rarity.MBC,an aggressive type of cancer,is refractory to common treatment modalities of breast cancer and has a poor prognosis.CASE SUMMARY We report a case of MBC in a 78-year-old man.He visited our clinic with a palpable mass on the left breast with no masses in the axillary areas.He had previously undergone robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer,but there was no family history of malignancy.The breast mass was visible on ultrasonography,mammography,and magnetic resonance imaging,and chest computed tomography revealed a lung mass in the posterior basal segment of the right lower lobe.The patient was diagnosed with metaplastic carcinoma on core needle biopsy with lung metastasis.Total mastectomy with sentinel lymph node biopsy and video-assisted segmentectomy of the right lung was performed.However,multiple metastases appeared 3 mo after surgery in the brain,chest,and abdomen,and the patient died 5 mo after the initial diagnosis.CONCLUSION MBC is an aggressive and extremely rare breast cancer type.Further case reports are needed to determine the optimal treatment. | Hyun Yul Kim Seungju Lee Dong-il Kim Chang Shin Jung Jee Yeon Kim Kyung Jin Nam Ki Seok Choo Youn Joo Jung | 2022 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2022，10，15： | 0 |
| 7 | Sequential Mediating Effect of Proactive Coping and Perceived Stress in the Relationships between Self-Esteem Stability and Life Satisfaction显示文摘While the effect of self-esteem stability on life satisfaction is widely verified,it is not very known how coping strategies explain this relationship.The present study focused on proactive coping,a preliminary step to minimize the impact of expected stressors,and a process of recognizing stressful events as challenges and actively managing them.Specifically,this study(N=280)examined whether proactive coping and perceived stress mediated the relationship between self-esteem stability and life satisfaction in a sequential manner.The results indicate that proactive coping and perceived stress sequentially mediated the relationship between self-esteem stability and life satisfaction,respectively.This demonstrates that proactive coping and perceived stress are factors that link self-esteem and life satisfaction.However,there was no direct effect between self-esteem and life satisfaction.These findings suggest the need to consider combining proactive coping interventions to increase the effectiveness of a self-esteem stability promotion program.The practical implications and suggestions for future research are also discussed. | Seungju Hyun | 2022 | International Journal of Mental Health Promotion2022，24，3： | 0 |
