| 5 | Predicting macroscopic thermal expansion of metastable liquid metals with only one thousand atoms显示文摘Results of thermal expansion prediction from atomic scale for metastable liquid metals are reported herein.Three pure liquid metals Ni,Fe,and Cu together with ternary Ni60Fe20Cu20 alloy are used as models.The pair distribution functions were employed to monitor the atomic structure.This indicates that the simulated systems are ordered in atomic short range and disordered in long range.The thermal expansion coefficient was computed as functions of temperature and atom cutoff radius,which tends to maintain a constant when the cutoff radius increases to approximately 15.In such a case,slightly more than1000 atoms are required for liquid Ni,Cu,Fe and Ni60Fe20Cu20 alloy,that is,the macroscopic thermal expansion can be predicted from the volume change of such a tiny cell.Furthermore,the expansion behaviors of the three types of atoms in liquid Ni60Fe20Cu20 alloy are revealed by the calculated partial expansion coefficient.This provides a fundamental method to predict the macroscopic thermal expansion from the atomic scale for liquid alloys,especially in the undercooled regime. | WANG Hai Peng YANG ShangJing WEI BingBo | 2014 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,12: | 1 |

The morphology and metal content of the Cu/A and Cu/YS-A@Et-PMO were fully characterized. As compared to tlie parent material, the composite Cu/YS-A@Et-PMO has an efficient adsorption and catalytic degradation performance on methylene blue(MB), the removal efficiency reached as high as 95% of 60 mg/L MB within 10 min. | 19 | Coordination and interface engineering to boost catalytic property of two-dimensional ZIFs for wearable Zn-air batteries显示文摘Metal organic frameworks(MOFs) have been considered as compelling precursor for miscellaneous applications. However, their unsatisfied electrocatalytic performance limits their direct application as electrocatalyst. Herein, by incorporating the cobalt-oxide bonds and polyaniline(PANI) with two-dimension zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs), a novel bifunctional catalyst(Co-O-ZIF/PANI) for Zn-air battery was designed based on a facile and eco-friendly method. This Co-O-ZIF/PANI with optimized surface adsorption effect and suitable Co^(3+)/Co^(2+)ratio, exhibits eminent electrocatalytic activity toward both oxygen reduction and evolution reaction. The as-assembled liquid ZABs based on Co-O-ZIF/PANI achieves a remarkable maximum power density of 123.1 m W cm^(-2) and low discharge-charge voltage gap of 0.81 V at 5 m A cm^(-2) for over 300 cycles. Operando Raman spectroscopy reveals that the excellent performance origins from the optimized surface chemisorption property of O_(2) and H_(2)O brought by Co–O bonds and PANI. | 20 | Defect engineering on BiFeO_(3) through Na and V codoping for aqueous Na-ion capacitors显示文摘Sodium with low cost and high abundance is considered as a substitute element of lithium for batteries and supercapacitors,which need the appropriate host materials to accommodate the relatively large Na^(+) ions.Compared to Li^(+) storage,Na^(+) storage makes higher demands on the structural optimization of perovskite bismuth ferrite(BiFeO_(3)).We propose a novel strategy of defect engineering on BiFeO_(3) through Na and V codoping for high-efficiency Na^(+) storage,to reveal the roles of oxygen vacancies and V ions played in the enhanced electrochemical energy storage performances of Na-ion capacitors.The formation of the oxygen vacancies in the Na and V codoped BiFeO_(3)(denoted as NV-BFO),is promoted by Na doping and suppressed by V doping,which can be demonstrated by XPS and EPR spectra.By the first-principles calculations,the oxygen vacancies and V ions in NV-BFO are confirmed to substantially lower the Na^(+)migration energy barriers through the space and electric field effects,to effectively promote the Na^(+) transport in the crystals.Electrochemical kinetic analysis of the NV-BFO//NV-BFO capacitors indicates the dominant capacitive-controlled capacity,which depends on fast Na^(+) deintercalation-intercalation process in the NV-BFO electrode.The NV-BFO//NV-BFO capacitors open up a new avenue for developing highperformance Na-ion capacitors. | Wenyun Wang Chao Yang Shangjing Yu Daotong Han Wentao Qi Rui Ling Guangqiang Liu | 2024 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,90,3: | 0 |
