1Preparation of nano-sized tungsten carbide via fluidized bed显示文摘Ultrafine or nano-sized of tungsten carbide(WC)is the key material to prepare ultrafine grained cemented carbides.In this paper,nano-sized WC powders were directly prepared by using industrial nano-needle violet tungsten oxide(WO2.72)as the raw material,a fluidized bed as the reactor,and CO as the carbonization gas.The relationship between particle sizes and reaction temperatures,residence times,atmospheres has been investigated systematically.In addition,the physical–chemical indexes(such as residual oxygen,total carbon and free carbon)of the products were measured.The results indicated that the particle size of WC increased with the increase of temperature from 800 to 950°C.As the residence time increased,the particle size decreased gradually,and then increased due to slight sintering.The introduction of hydrogen reduced the carbonization rate,and is not beneficial to obtaining nano-sized WC.Products that satisfy the standard were obtained when WO2.72 reacted with CO at 850°C,900°C and 950°C for 3.0 h,2.5 h and 2.0 h,respectively.The particle sizes of the three samples calculated from the specific surface area were 46.4 nm,53.2 nm and 52.1 nm,respectively.Feng Pan Zhan Du Shaofu Li Jun Li Meiju Zhang Maoqiao Xiang Qingshan Zhu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,3:4

3Highly ductile hypereutectic Al-Si alloys fabricated by selective laser melting显示文摘In the endeavor to maximize the refinement effect of primary Si and alleviate the inherent brittleness of hypereutectic Al-Si alloy,the approach of coating P as a modifier on powder was adopted.The ultimate aim was to create more heterogeneous fine Al P nucleus and enhance the nucleation efficiency of primary Si on Al P to refine the coarse primary Si to nano-scale during 3D printing.In the combination of large undercooling and high density of nucleation sites,the size of primary Si was successfully refined to 200–300 nm and the divorced eutectic was also induced to modify the microstructure of matrix.In the presence of nano-scale primary Si,the melting pool boundary(MPB)feature disappeared and the fracture mechanism also changed from load transfer to interfacial fracture.Compared with the pristine alloy,the ductility was increased four times without significantly changing the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and wear resistance.The improvement of ductility is attributed to the refinement of primary Si,the disappearance of MPB features and the formation of divorced eutectic.The optimal tensile properties were:UTS-482 MPa,yield strength-320 MPa and ductility of 8.1%at 0.05 wt.%P.These are comparable to those for high-strength Al alloys.Yafeng Yang Kang Geng Shaofu Li Michael Bermingham R.D.K.Misra 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,15:1

10Efficient fluidization intensification process to fabricate in-situ dispersed(SiO+G)/CNTs composites for high-performance lithium-ion battery anode applications显示文摘An efficient fluidization process intensification method was proposed to prepare carbon nanotube(CNT)-enhanced high-performance SiO anodes for lithium-ion batteries.The introduction of graphite particles decreased bonding among SiO particles,inhibiting agglomerate growth and enhancing fluidization.The(SiO+G)/CNTs composites were synthesized by fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition with the CNTs grown in-situ,which ensured uniform dispersion and superior anchoring of the CNTs.The in-situ-grown CNTs and stacked graphite ensured excellent structural stability and conductivity.The synthesized(SiO+G)/CNTs delivered a stable reversible capacity of 466 mAh g^(−1) after 125 cycles and a capacity of∼200 mAh g^(−1) at 2 A g^(−1).The charging results indicated that the 3D network structure comprising CNTs and graphite not only effectively buffered the electrode expansion but also greatly improved mechanical flexibility.Hebang Shi He Zhang Chaoquan Hu Shaofu Li Maoqiao Xiang Pengpeng Lv Qingshan Zhu 2021Particuology2021,19,3:0
11Integrated high-performance and accurate shaping technology of low-cost powder metallurgy titanium alloys: A comprehensive review显示文摘The practical engineering applications of powder metallurgy (PM) Ti alloys produced through cold compaction and pressure-less sintering are impeded by poor sintering densification, embrittlement caused by excessive O impurities, and severe sintering deforma-tion resulting from the use of heterogeneous powder mixtures. This review presents a summary of our previous work on addressing the above challenges. Initially, we proposed a novel strategy using reaction-induced liquid phases to enhance sintering densification. Near- complete density (relative density exceeding 99%) was achieved by applying the above strategy and newly developed sintering aids. By focusing on the O-induced embrittlement issue, we determined the onset dissolution temperature of oxide films in the Ti matrix. On the basis of this finding, we established a design criterion for effective O scavengers that require reaction with oxide films before their dissol-ution. Consequently, a ductile PM Ti alloy was successfully obtained by introducing 0.3wt% NdB6 as the O scavenger. Lastly, a powder- coating strategy was adopted to address the sintering deformation issue. The ultrafine size and shell-like distribution characteristics of coating particles ensured rapid dissolution and homogeneity in the Ti matrix, thereby facilitating linear shrinkage during sintering. As a result, geometrically complex Ti alloy parts with high dimensional accuracy were fabricated by using the coated powder. Our fundament-al findings and related technical achievements enabled the development of an integrated production technology for the high-performance and accurate shaping of low-cost PM Ti alloys. 13Intermediate phase assisted sequential deposition of reverse-graded quasi-2D alternating cation perovskites for MA-free perovskite solar cells显示文摘One-step deposition approaches have been widely applied and developed in the fabrication of quasi-2D perovskites.However,the regulation of quantum wells(QWs)and crystalline orientation is difficult and complicated when using this methodology.Sequential deposition is another widespread synthetic approach for preparing perovskite films and perovskite dimension engineering.In this article,δ-CsPbI_(3)intermediate phase assisted sequential(IPAS)deposition is successfully carried out to fabricate MA-free quasi-2D ACI perovskites.The amount of theδ-CsPbI_(3)intermediate phase in the PbI2 layer and the concentration of GAI molecule in the IPA solution both play important roles in the production of MA-free quasi-2D ACI perovskite films.The n value of the MA-free quasi-2D ACI perovskites can be adjusted,which affects the photovoltaic performance and device stability.Compared with one-step deposition,the MA-free quasi-2D ACI perovskites prepared via IPAS deposition have opposite reverse-graded QW distribution and improved vertical orientation,leading to a remarkable PEC of up to 18.86%and allowing the preparation of unpackaged devices with prominent working stability(80%,400 h).The underlying mechanism and crystallization pathway of IPAS deposition confirm that sequential deposition has unique superiority in regulating the QW distribution and crystalline orientation of quasi-2D perovskites.Shaofu Wang Yumin Liu Junjie Zou Junjun Jin Yun Jiang Tao Zeng Wenyan Zhao Rong-Xiang He Bolei Chen Yu Chen Shuoxue Jin Hong-Xiang Li Zhipeng Xie Chang-An Wang Weiwei Sun Qiang Cao Xing-Zhong Zhao 2023InfoMat2023,5,3:0
14Quantitative analysis of the impact of various urban socioeconomic indicators on search-engine-based estimation of COVID-19 prevalence显示文摘Numerous studies have proposed search engine-based estimation of COVID-19 prevalence during the COVID-19 pandemic;however,their estimation models do not consider the impact of various urban socioeconomic indicators(USIs).This study quantitatively analysed the impact of various USIs on search engine-based estimation of COVID-19 prevalence using 15 USIs(including total population,gross regional product(GRP),and population density)from 369 cities in China.The results suggested that 13 USIs affected either the correlation(SC-corr)or time lag(SC-lag)between search engine query volume and new COVID-19 cases(p<0.05).Total population and GRP impacted SC-corr considerably,with their correlation coefficients r for SC-corr being 0.65 and 0.59,respectively.Total population,GRP per capita,and proportion of the population with a high school diploma or higher had simultaneous positive impacts on SC-corr and SC-lag(p<0.05);these three indicators explained 37e50%of the total variation in SC-corr and SC-lag.Estimations for different urban agglomerations revealed that the goodness of fit,R2,for search engine-based estimation was more than 0.6 only when total urban population,GRP per capita,and proportion of the population with a high school diploma or higher exceeded 11.08 million,120,700,and 38.13%,respectively.A greater urban size indicated higher accuracy of search engine-based estimation of COVID-19 prevalence.Therefore,the accuracy and time lag for search engine-based estimation of infectious disease prevalence can be improved only when the total urban population,GRP per capita,and proportion of the population with a high school diploma or higher are greater than the aforementioned thresholds.Ligui Wang Mengxuan Lin Jiaojiao Wang Hui Chen Mingjuan Yang Shaofu Qiu Tao Zheng Zhenjun Li Hongbin Song 2022Infectious Disease Modelling2022,7,2:0
15Successful clearance of persistent SARS-CoV-2 asymptomatic infection following a single dose of Ad5-nCoV vaccine显示文摘Persistent asymptomatic(PA)SARS-CoV-2 infections have been identified.The immune responses in these patients are unclear,and the development of effective treatments for these patients is needed.Here,we report a cohort of 23 PA cases carrying viral RNA for up to 191 days.PA cases displayed low levels of inflammatory and interferon response,weak antibody response,diminished circulating follicular helper T cells(cTfh),and inadequate specific CD4+and CD8+T-cell responses during infection,which is distinct from symptomatic infections and resembling impaired immune activation.Administration of a single dose of Ad5-nCoV vaccine to 10 of these PA cases elicited rapid and robust antibody responses as well as coordinated B-cell and cTfh responses,resulting in successful viral clearance.Vaccine-induced antibodies were able to neutralize various variants of concern and persisted for over 6 months,indicating long-term protection.Therefore,our study provides an insight into the immune status of PA infections and highlights vaccination as a potential treatment for prolonged SARS-CoV-2 infections.Shaofu Qiu Zhao Chen Airu Zhu Qiuhui Zeng Hongbo Liu Xiaoqing Liu Feng Ye Yingkang Jin Jie Wu Chaojie Yang Qi Wang Fangli Chen Lan Chen Sai Tian Xinying Du Qingtao Hu Jinling Cheng Canjie Chen Fang Li Jing Sun Yanqun Wang Jingxian Zhao Jincun Zhao Hongbin Song 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4:0
