1Sparse representation and blind source separation of ill-posed mixtures显示文摘Bofill et al. discussed blind source separation (BSS) of sparse signals in the case of two sensors. However, as Bofill et al. pointed out, this method has some limitation. The potential function they introduced is lack of theoretical basis. Also the method could not be extended to solve the problem in the case of more than three sensors. In this paper, instead of the potential function method, a K-PCA method (combining K-clustering with PCA) is proposed. The new method is easy to be used in the case of more than three sensors. It is easy to be implemented and can provide accurate estimation of mixing matrix. Some criterion is given to check the effect of the mixing matrix A . 2On the new results of global attractive set and positive invariant set of the Lorenz chaotic system and the applications to chaos control and synchronization显示文摘Constructing a family of generalized Lyapunov functions, a new method is proposed to obtain new global attractive set and positive invariant set of the Lorenz chaotic system. The method we proposed greatly simplifies the complex proofs of the two famous estimations presented by the Russian scholar Leonov. Our uniform formula can derive a series of the new estimations. Employing the idea of intersection in set theory, we extract a new Leonov formula-like estimation from the family of the estimations. With our method and the new estimation, one can confirm that there are no equilibrium, periodic solutions, almost periodic motions, wandering motions or other chaotic attractors outside the global attractive set. The Lorenz butterfly-like singular attractors are located in the global attractive set only. This result is applied to the chaos control and chaos synchronization. Some feedback control laws are obtained to guarantee that all the trajectories of the Lorenz systems track a periodic solution, or globally stabilize an unstable (or locally stable but not globally asymptotically stable) equilibrium. Further, some new global exponential chaos synchronization results are presented. 3Ti/(Ti,Cr)N/CrN multilayer coated 316L stainless steel by arc ion plating as bipolar plates for proton exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘Arc ion plating(AIP) is applied to form Ti/(Ti,Cr)N/Cr N multilayer coating on the surface of 316 L stainless steel(SS316L) as bipolar plates for proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs). The characterizations of the coating are analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). Interfacial contact resistance(ICR) between the coated sample and carbon paper is 4.9 m cm^2 under 150 N/cm^2,which is much lower than that of the SS316 L substrate. Potentiodynamic and potentiostatic tests are performed in the simulated PEMFC working conditions to investigate the corrosion behaviors of the coated sample. Superior anticorrosion performance is observed for the coated sample, whose corrosion current density is 0.12 μA/cm2. Surface morphology results after corrosion tests indicate that the substrate is well protected by the multilayer coating. 5Globally exponentially attractive sets of the family of Lorenz systems显示文摘In this paper, the concept of globally exponentially attractive set is proposed and used to consider the ultimate bounds of the family of Lorenz systems with varying parameters. Explicit estimations of the ultimate bounds are derived. The results presented in this paper contain all the existing results as special cases. 6Searching-and-averaging method of underdetermined blind speech signal separation in time domain显示文摘Underdetermined blind signal separation (BSS) (with fewer observed mixtures than sources) is discussed. A novel searching-and-averaging method in time domain (SAMTD) is proposed. It can solve a kind of problems that are very hard to solve by using sparse representation in frequency domain. Bypassing the disadvantages of traditional clustering (e.g., K-means or potential-function clustering), the durative- sparsity of a speech signal in time domain is used. To recover the mixing matrix, our method deletes those samples, which are not in the same or inverse direction of the basis vectors. To recover the sources, an improved geometric approach to overcomplete ICA (Independent Component Analysis) is presented. 7Patterns of gas hydrate accumulation in mass transport deposits related to canyon activity: Example from Shenhu drilling area in the South China Sea显示文摘Since 2017, a plenty of gas hydrates have been drilled in a new area of Shenhu, and good heterogeneity has been found throughout the spatial distribution of the reservoir. After distinguishing different sedimentary sequence types and matching their formation with slope deposition settings, this study proposes three mass transport deposit(MTD) patterns related to canyon activity that occurred contemporaneously or epigenetically with it: well preserved MTDs, MTDs eroded by canyon migration, and MTDs dislocated by contemporaneous faults. Based on seismic reflection characteristics, this study proposed methods of quantitatively analyzing sedimentary factors,such as measuring the turbidities flow rate in the canyon, and results are interpreted with respect to canyon activity. Combining the above parameters and their relationship with gas hydrate accumulation, fine-grained seals overlapping coarse MTDs reservoirs are found to be indispensable to gas hydrate accumulation, as they prevent the release of free gas. Based on grain size data of hydrate samples from drilling wells, multi-layered gas hydrate reservoirs capped by fine-grained sediments and overlapping mud show favorable hydrate-bearing prospects. The release of gas hydrates, however, is mostly caused by the lack of mud sealing in relation to canyon activity, such as turbidities flow erosion and contemporaneous fault breaking. Canyon migration with respect to MTDs may be the actual cause of erosion of overlapping syn-sedimentary layers, and high bottom flows may contribute to an increase in the release of free gas. It is believed that contemporaneous faults caused by unstable canyon walls may break the muddy over layers and decrease the accumulation pressure of gas hydrate bearing.Thus, according to the sedimentary characteristics of MTDs and the hydrate accumulation process, three responding accumulation or releasing patterns are proposed, which respond to the different types of MTDs distinguished above: a well-preserved MTD accumulation pattern; a canyon migration eroded MTD release pattern; and a micro-contemporaneous fault dislocated MTD release pattern.Chao Fu Shengli Li Xinghe Yu Jinqiang Liang Zenggui Kuang Yulin He Lina Jin 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,5:3
8Adaptive blind separation of underdetermined mixtures based on sparse component analysis显示文摘The independence priori is very often used in the conventional blind source sepa-ration (BSS). Naturally, independent component analysis (ICA) is also employed to perform BSS very often. However, ICA is difficult to use in some challenging cases, such as underdetermined BSS or blind separation of dependent sources. Recently, sparse component analysis (SCA) has attained much attention because it is theo- retically available for underdetermined BSS and even for blind dependent source separation sometimes. However, SCA has not been developed very sufficiently. Up to now, there are only few existing algorithms and they are also not perfect as well in practice. For example, although Lewicki-Sejnowski’s natural gradient for SCA is superior to K-mean clustering, it is just an approximation without rigorously theo- retical basis. To overcome these problems, a new natural gradient formula is pro- posed in this paper. This formula is derived directly from the cost function of SCA through matrix theory. Mathematically, it is more rigorous. In addition, a new and robust adaptive BSS algorithm is developed based on the new natural gradient. 9Blind signal separation of underdetermined mixtures based on clustering algorithms on planes显示文摘Based on clustering method on planes, blind signal separation (BSS) of underdetermined mixtures with three observed signals is discussed. The condition of sufficient sparsity of the source signals is not necessary when clustering method on planes is used. In other words, it needs not that only one source signal plays the main role among others at one time. The proposed method uses normal line clustering of planes first. Then, the mixing matrix can be identified via deciding the intersection lines of the planes. This method is an effective implement of the new theory presented by Georgiev. 11HASN:A Hierarchical Attack Surface Network for System Security Analysis显示文摘Attack surfaces, as one of the security models, can help people to analyse the security of systems in cyberspace, such as risk assessment by utilizing various security metrics or providing a cost-effective network hardening solution. Numerous attack surface models have been proposed in the past decade,but they are not appropriate for describing complex systems with heterogeneous components. To address this limitation, we propose to use a two-layer Hierarchical Attack Surface Network(HASN) that models the data interactions and resource distribution of the system in a component-oriented view. First, we formally define the HASN by extending the entry point and exit point framework. Second, in order to assess data input risk and output risk on the HASN, we propose two behaviour models and two simulation-based risk metrics. Last, we conduct experiments for three network systems. 18Spatiotemporal Variations of Microwave Land Surface Emissivity(MLSE)over China Derived from Four-Year Recalibrated Fengyun 3B MWRI Data显示文摘Microwave Land Surface Emissivity(MLSE)over China under both clear and cloudy sky conditions was retrieved using measurements of recalibrated microwave brightness temperatures(Tbs)from Fengyun-3B Microwave Radiation Imager(FY-3B MWRI),combined with cloud properties derived from Himawari-8 Advanced Himawari Imager(AHI)observations.The contributions from cloud particles and atmospheric gases to the upwelling Tbs at the top of atmosphere were calculated and removed in radiative transfer.The MLSEs at horizontal polarizations at 10.65,18.7,and 36.5 GHz during 7 July 2015 to 30 June 2019 over China showed high values in the southeast vegetated area and low values in the northwest barren,or sparsely vegetated,area.The maximum values were found in the belt area of the Qinling-Taihang Mountains and the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,which is highly consistent with MLSEs derived from AMSR-E.It demonstrates that the measurements of FY-3B MWRI Tbs,including its calibration and validation,are reliable,and the retrieval algorithm developed in this study works well.Seasonal variations of MLSE in China are mainly driven by the combined effects of vegetation,rainfall,and snow cover.In tropical and southern forest regions,the seasonal variation of MLSE is small due to the enhancement from vegetation and the suppression from rainfall.In the boreal area,snow causes a significant decrease of MLSE at 36.5 GHz in winter.Meanwhile,the MLSE at lower frequencies experiences less suppression.In the desert region in Xinjiang,increases of MLSEs at all frequencies are observed with increasing snow cover.Rui LI Jiheng HU Shengli WU Peng ZHANG Husi LETU Yu WANG Xuewen WANG Yuyun FU Renjun ZHOU Ling SUN 2022Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,9:1
