| 1 | Comprehensive evaluation of water-inrush risk from coal floors显示文摘Lower groups of coal seams are presently being mined in the Yanzhou coal mining area. We need to evaluate the risk from water-inrush from coal floors in order to have safe production in the lower groups of coal seams in mines. Based on a system-atic collection of hydrogeological data and some data from mined working faces in these lower groups, we evaluated the factors affecting water-inrush from coal floors of the area by a method of dimensionless analysis. We obtained the order of the factors af-fecting water-inrush from coal floors and recalculated data on depths of destroyed floors by multiple linear regression analysis and obtained new empirical formulas. We also analyzed the water-inrush coefficient of mined working faces of the lower groups of coal seams and improved the evaluation standard of the water-inrush coefficient method. Finally, we made a comprehensive evaluation of water-inrush risks from coal floors by using the water-inrush coefficient method and a fuzzy clustering method. The evaluation results provide a solid foundation for preventing and controlling the damage caused by water of an Ordovician limestone aquifer in the lower group of coal seams in the mines of Yanzhou. | 2 | Water inrush evaluation of coal seam floor by integrating the water inrush coefficient and the information of water abundance显示文摘The method of singular coefficient of water inrush to achieve safety mining has limitation and one sidedness. Aiming at the problem above, large amounts of data about water inrush were collected. Then the data, including the maximum water inrush, water inrush coefficient and water abundance in aquifers of working face, were processed by the statistical analysis. The analysis results indicate that both water inrush coefficient and water abundance in aquifers should be taken into consideration when evaluating the danger of water inrush from coal seam floor. The prediction model of safe-mining evaluation grade was built by using the support vector machine, and the result shows that this model has high classification accuracy. | 3 | Genomic Variations in the Tea Leafhopper Reveal the Basis of Its Adaptive Evolution显示文摘Tea green leafhopper(TGL),Empoasca onukii,is of biological and economic interest.Despite numerous studies,the mechanisms underlying its adaptation and evolution remain enigmatic.Here,we use previously untapped genome and population genetics approaches to examine how the pest adapted to different environmental variables and thus has expanded geographically.We complete a chromosome-level assembly and annotation of the E.onukii genome,showing notable expansions of gene families associated with adaptation to chemoreception and detoxification.Genomic signals indicating balancing selection highlight metabolic pathways involved in adaptation to a wide range of tea varieties grown across ecologically diverse regions.Patterns of genetic variations among 54 E.onukii samples unveil the population structure and evolutionary history across different tea-growing regions in China.Our results demonstrate that the genomic changes in key pathways,including those linked to metabolism,circadian rhythms,and immune system functions,may underlie the successful spread and adaptation of E.onukii.This work highlights the genetic and molecular basis underlying the evolutionary success of a species with broad economic impacts,and provides insights into insect adaptation to host plants,which will ultimately facilitate more sustainable pest management. | Qian Zhao Longqing Shi Weiyi He Jinyu Li Shijun You Shuai Chen Jing Lin Yibin Wang Liwen Zhang Guang Yang Liette Vasseur Minsheng You | 2022 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,6: | 1 |

| 5 | Terahertz bound states in the continuum with incident angle robustness induced by a dual period metagrating显示文摘Metasurface-empowered bound state in the continuum(BIC)provides a unique route for fascinating functional devices with infinitely high quality factors.This method is particularly attractive to the terahertz community because it may essentially solve the deficiencies in terahertz filters,sensors,lasers,and nonlinear sources.However,most BIC metasurfaces are limited to specified incident angles that seriously dim their application prospects.Here,we propose that a dual-period dielectric metagrating can support multiple families of BICs that originate from guided mode resonances in the dielectric grating and exhibit infinite quality factors at arbitrarily tilted incidence.This robustness was analyzed based on the Bloch theory and verified at tilted incident angles.We also demonstrate that inducing geometric asymmetry is an efficient way to manipulate the leakage and coupling of these BICs,which can mimic the electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)effect in our dual-period metagrating.In this demonstration,a slow-light effect with a measured group delay of 117 ps was achieved.The incidence-insensitive BICs proposed here may greatly extend the application scenarios of the BIC effect.The high Q factor and outstanding slow-light effect in the metagrating show exciting prospects in realizing high-performance filters,sensors,and modulators for prompting terahertz applications. | Wenqiao Shi Jianqiang Gu Xingyuan Zhang Quan Xu Jiaguang Han Quanlong Yang Longqing Cong Weili Zhang | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,3: | 1 |
| 6 | MicroRNA-708 inhibits the proliferation and chemoresistance of pancreatic cancer cells显示文摘Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive malignancies with poor prognosis and high mortality.Recent studies showed that microRNAs are dysregulated and involved in the initiation and progression of pancreatic cancer.In this study,we found that miR-708 was significantly downregulated in pancreatic cancer tissues and cell lines.Lentivirus-mediated overexpression of miR-708 could significantly inhibit the proliferation and invasion,while enhanced chemosensitivity to gemcitabine in both Panc-1 and SW1990 cells.Luciferase reporter assay showed that miR-708 bound the 3’-untranslated region of survivin and suppressed the expression of survivin in pancreatic cancer cells.In pancreatic cancer tissues,survivin protein was highly expressed and negatively correlated with miR-708 expression.Furthermore,the restoration of survivin expression could partially antagonize proliferation inhibition and apoptosis induction by miR-708 in pancreatic cancer cells.The Panc-1 cells with overexpression of miR-708 also showed decreased proliferation capability in nude mouse model compared with parental cells.In conclusion,our results suggest that miR-708 inhibits pancreatic cancer and could be a novel potential candidate to treat pancreatic cancer. | Wensong LIU Yunjie LU Dong ZHANG Longqing SHI Guangchen ZU Haijiao YAN Donglin SUN | 2020 | BIOCELL2020,44,1: | 1 |

| 11 | Distribution,enrichment mechanism and risk assessment for fluoride in groundwater:a case study of Mihe-Weihe River Basin,China显示文摘Due to the unclear distribution characteristics and causes of fluoride in groundwater of Mihe-Weihe River Basin(China),there is a higher risk for the future development and utilization of groundwater.Therefore,based on the systematic sampling and analysis,the distribution features and enrichment mechanism for fluoride in groundwater were studied by the graphic method,hydrogeochemical modeling,the proportionality factor between conventional ions and factor analysis.The results show that the fluorine content in groundwater is generally on the high side,with a large area of medium-fluorine water(0.5–1.0 mg/L),and high-fluorine water is chiefly in the interfluvial lowlands and alluvial-marine plain,which mainly contains HCO_(3)·Cl-Na-and HCO_(3)^(-)Na-type water.The vertical zonation characteristics of the fluorine content decrease with increasing depth to the water table.The high flouride groundwater during the wet season is chiefly controlled by the weathering and dissolution of fluorine-containing minerals,as well as the influence of rock weathering,evaporation and concentration.The weak alkaline environment that is rich in sodium and poor in calcium during the dry season is the main reason for the enrichment of fluorine.Finally,an integrated assessment model is established using rough set theory and an improved matter element extension model,and the level of groundwater pollution caused by fluoride in the Mihe-Weihe River Basin during the wet and dry seasons in the Shandong Peninsula is defined to show the necessity for local management measures to reduce the potential risks caused by groundwater quality. | Xingyue Qu Peihe Zhai Longqing Shi Xingwei Qu Ahmer Bilal Jin Han Xiaoge Yu | 2023 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,6: | 0 |

| 13 | Modeling of hydrogen diffusion process at a blunt notch in zirconium显示文摘The two-dimensional diffusion of interstitial hydrogen atoms in zirconium in a non-uniform stress field was simulated us- ing the phase-field method. The interaction between hydrogen interstitials and the stress field was described by Khachaturyan’s elastic theory. The Cahn-Hilliard diffusion equation was then solved by an explicit finite difference method. The result shows that hydrogen atoms diffuse to the high-tensile hydrostatic region near the tip of the notch.
