| 8 | Screening of Sapindus germplasm resources in China based on agro-morphological traits显示文摘Sapindus L.species are widely cultivated for biodiesel,biomedical,and biochemical raw materials in southern China.However,yields fuctuate widely due to the lack of high-yielding,high-quality,stable cultivars.Therefore,the objectives of this study were to evaluate three species and one variety among 149 nationwide Sapindus species and screen for elite accessions which would serve as Sapindus breeding materials.Accessions were evaluated on 19 agro-morphological traits by correlation analysis and principal component analysis.These displayed substantial diversity and a broad range of economic traits.In particular,accessions of Sapindus mukorossi and Sapindus rarak had more variation in economic traits than Sapindus delavayi and Sapindus rarak var.velutinus.Increased saponin accumulation may be achieved at the cost of seed oil production.Thirty elite accessions for oil and saponin production,and for comprehensive utilization were screened and accessions no.80,110,and 112 had significant potential to produce high yields.These elite accessions will facilitate the identification of genetic determinants of valuable traits and the effective utilization of trait variability in Sapindus breeding. | Jiming Liu Shiqi Liu Yuanyuan Xu Caowen Sun Zhong Chen Xin Wang Lixian Wang Shilun Gao Guochun Zhao Qiuyang He Xuehuang Weng Liming Jia | 2022 | Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,1: | 1 |

| 10 | Highly Durable MIL-96 Membranes via a One-step Active γ-Alumina Conversion Strategy for Gas Separation显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are attractive in membrane separation due to their special pore structure and suitable aperture size.The fabrication of defect-free and robust MOF membranes with excellent durability is highly demanded but remains challenging.In this work,we report a one-step activeγ-alumina conversion strategy for the facile and reliable fabrication of an MIL-96 membrane.In this case,theγ-Al_(2)O_(3) sol was dip-coated and sintered on theα-Al_(2)O_(3) disc as the active aluminum source and substrate for the nucleation and growth of MOF.A continuous and well-intergrown MIL-96 membrane was generated with exceptional stability due to the strong adhesion to the substrate.The resultant MIL-96 membrane yielded a satisfactory H_(2)/CO_(2) permselectivity and high-temperature resistance,delivering a selectivity of 12.35 with H_(2) permeance of 6.20×10^(−7) mol·m^(−2)·s^(−1)·Pa^(−1) at 150℃.Moreover,the probe membrane presented remarkable durability and recyclability under harsh hydrothermal conditions.This method paves the way for constructing highly stable and selective MOF membranes and could accelerate the development of advanced membrane separation technologies for gas purification and recycling in addressing the severe energy and environmental problems. | GAO Zhuangzhuang LI Baoju OU Shuxian LI Dongsheng FANG Qianrong QIU Shilun XUE Ming | 2023 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,6: | 0 |

| 15 | Droplet microfluidic chip for precise monitoring of dynamic solution changes显示文摘In this work,an automated microfluidic chip that uses negative pressure to sample and analyze solutions with high temporal resolution was developed.The chip has a T-shaped channel for mixing the sample with a fluorescent indicator,a flow-focusing channel for generating droplets in oil,and a long storage channel for incubating and detecting the droplets.By monitoring the fluorescence intensity of the droplets,the device could detect changes in solution accurately over time.The chip can generate droplets at frequencies of up to 42 Hz with a mixing ratio of 1:1 and a temporal resolution of 3–6 s.It had excellent linearity in detecting fluorescein solution in the concentration range 1–5μM.This droplet microfluidic chip provides several advantages over traditional methods,including high temporal resolution,stable droplet generation,and faster flow rates.This approach could be applied to monitoring calcium ions with a dynamic range from 102 to 107 nM and a detection limit of 10 nM. | Cong Ma Zehang Gao Jianlong Zhao Shilun Feng | 2023 | Nanotechnology and Precision Engineering2023,6,3: | 0 |
| 16 | 2-3 Lifetime Measurement of the First Excited State in 37S显示文摘We have found that the excited energy from the ground state with 1f7=2 configuration to the first excited state with 2p3=2 configuration in 37S is obviously lower compared with that in nearby N=21 isotones 35Si, 39Ar and 41Ca (see Fig. 1, The insert indicates the relevant single-particle orbits of proton and neutron). This interesting phenomenon may result from the collapse of N=28 closure, which gives the sufficient valence space for collective deformation which can been revealed from the B(E2) value.
