| 1 | Adaptive neural control based on HGO for hypersonic flight vehicles显示文摘This paper describes the design of adaptive neural controller for the longitudinal dynamics of a generic hypersonic flight vehicle (HFV) which are decomposed into two functional systems, namely the altitude subsystem and the velocity subsystem. For each subsystem, one adaptive neural controller is investigated based on the normal output-feedback formulation. For the altitude subsystem, the high gain observer (HGO) is taken to estimate the unknown newly defined states. Only one neural network (NN) is employed to approximate the lumped uncertain system nonlinearity during the controller design which is considerably simpler than the ones based on back-stepping scheme with the strict-feedback form. The Lyapunov stability of the NN weights and filtered tracking error are guaranteed in the semiglobal sense. | 3 | Integrated Inspection of QoM, QoP, and QoS for AOI Industries in Metaverses显示文摘With the rapid development of information technologies such as digital twin, extended reality, and blockchain,the hype around 'metaverse' is increasing at astronomical speed. However, much attention has been paid to its entertainment and social functions. Considering the openness and interoperability of metaverses, the market of quality inspection promises explosive growth. In this paper, taking advantage of metaverses, we first propose the concept of Automated Quality Inspection(Auto QI), which performs integrated inspection covering the entire manufacturing process, including Quality of Materials, Quality of Manufacturing(Qo M), Quality of Products, Quality of Processes(Qo P), Quality of Systems, and Quality of Services(Qo S). Based on the scenarios engineering theory, we discuss how to perform interactions between metaverses and the physical world for virtual design instruction and physical validation feedback. Then we introduce a bottomup inspection device development workflow with productivity tools offered by metaverses, making development more effective and efficient than ever. Different from previous back-stepping design, the scheme is on transforming the dynamics into the'prediction function'. The controller is constructed with high gain observer, while the effect of fault and saturation is compensated by neural networks. For the input saturation, the auxiliary dynamics is included to design the adaptive learning law. The neural weights and filtered tracking error are guaranteed to be bounded via Lyapunov approach. | 6 | Encapsulation of lyophilized platelet-rich fibrin in alginate-hyaluronic acid hydrogel as a novel vascularized substitution for myocardial infarction显示文摘Cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction(MI)are among the major causes of death worldwide.Although intramyocardial injection of hydrogels can effectively enhance the ventricular wall,this approach is limited because of its restriction to the poor vascularization in the infarcted myocardium.Here,we reported a new type of hydrogel composed of alginate(ALG)and hyaluronic acid(HA)with lyophilized platelet-rich fibrin(Ly-PRF)for releasing abundant growth factors to realize their respective functions.The results of in vitro studies demonstrated favorable mechanical property and release ability of ALG-HA with Ly-PRF.When injected into the infarcted myocardium,this composite hydrogel preserved heart function and the Ly-PRF within the hydrogel promoted angiogenesis and increased vascular density in both infarcted and border zone,which rescued the ischemic myocardium.These beneficial effects were also accompanied by macrophage polarization and regulation of myocardial fibrosis.Moreover,the autologous origin of Ly-PRF with ALG-HA hydrogel offers myriad advantages including safety profile,easiness to obtain and cost-effectiveness.Overall,this study demonstrated the versatile therapeutic effects of a novel composite hydrogel ALG-HA with Ly-PRF,which optimizes a promising vascularized substitution strategy for improving cardiac function after MI. | Bei Qian Qi Yang Mingliang Wang Shixing Huang Chenyu Jiang Hongpeng Shi Qiang Long Mi Zhou Qiang Zhao Xiaofeng Ye | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,1: | 2 |

| 10 | A novel luciferase immunosorbent assay performs better than a commercial enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to detect MERS-CoV specific IgG in humans and animals显示文摘The Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS)is a lethal zoonosis caused by MERS coronavirus(MERS-CoV)and poses a significant threat to public health worldwide.Therefore,a rapid,sensitive,and specific serologic test for detecting anti-MERS-CoV antibodies in both humans and animals is urgently needed for the successful management of this illness.Here,we evaluated various novel luciferase immunosorbent assays(LISA)based on nucleocapsid protein(NP)as well as fragments derived from spike protein(S)including subunit 1(S1),N terminal domain(NTD),receptorbinding domain(RBD)and subunit 2(S2)of S for the detection of MERS-CoV-specific IgG.Fusion proteins,including nanoluciferase(NLuc)and various fragments derived from the NP or S protein of MERS-CoV,were expressed in human embryonic kidney 293 T cells.LISAs that detected anti-MERS-CoV IgG were further developed using cell lysates expressing various fusion proteins.Panels of human or animal samples infected with MERS-CoV were used to analyze the sensitivity and specificity of various LISAs in reference to a MERS-CoV RT-PCR,commercial S1-based ELISA,and pseudovirus particle neutralization test(ppNT).Our results showed that the S1-,RBD-,and NP-LISAs were more sensitive than the NTD-and S2-LISAs for the detection of anti-MERS-CoV IgG.Furthermore,the S1-,RBD-,and NP-LISAs were more sensitive(by at least 16-fold)than the commercially available S1-ELISA.Moreover,the S1-,RBD-,and NPLISA specifically recognized anti-MERS-CoV IgG and did not cross-react with samples derived from other human CoV(OC43,229E,HKU1,NL63)-infected patients.More importantly,these LISAs proved their applicability and reliability for detecting anti-MERS-CoV IgG in samples from camels,monkeys,and mice,among which the RBD-LISA exhibited excellent performance.The results of this study suggest that the novel MERS-CoV RBD-and S1-LISAs are highly effective platforms for the rapid and sensitive detection of anti-MERS-CoV IgG in human and animal samples.These assays have the potential to be used as serologic tests for the management and control of MERS-CoV infection. | Wenling Wang Tianyu Wang Yao Deng Peihua Niu Ruhan A Jincun Zhao Malik Peiris Shixing Tang Wenjie Tan | 2019 | Biosafety and Health2019,1,3: | 1 |

Surface chemical characteristics of the fresh low-level mercury catalysts and spent low-level mercury catalysts were compared using multiple characterization methods. Pore blockage and active site coverage caused by chlorine-containing organics are responsible for catalyst deactivation. The reactions of chloroethylene and acetylene with chlorine free radical can generate chlorine-containing organic species. SiO_2 and functional groups on activated carbon contribute to the generation of carbon deposition. No significant reduction in the total content of mercury was observed after catalyst deactivation, while there was mercury loss locally. The irreversible loss of HgCl_2 caused by volatilization, reduction and poisoning of elements S and P also can lead to catalyst deactivation. Si, Al, Ca and Fe oxides are scattered on the activated carbon.
