1Production and characterization of highly transparent novel magneto-optical Ho_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) ceramics with anion-deficient fluorite structures显示文摘Based on material design idea,we employ a co-precipitation strategy to obtain sinterable Ho_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) flu-orite particles,successfully leading to novel transparent Ho_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) ceramics with good optical/magneto-optical properties.The resulting precipitation precursor is identified to be hydrated basic carbonate upon calcination at the optimum temperature of 1250℃into near-spherical Ho_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) nanopowder with an average size of~64 nm and unimodal narrow size distribution.The crystal intrinsic oxygen defect in fluorite ceramic generally exists in the form of F+center.The best bulk specimen achieved in this work exhibits a high refractive index of~2.1 and a high transparency of~74.4%at 1000 nm comparable with the corresponding defect-free single crystal(~76.4%in theory).In the Ho_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) structure system,the elec-tronic polarizability of O_(2)-anion generally remains constant around 2.2?3 in the visible region and the corresponding optical basicity is approximately 0.9.The developed magneto-optical transparent Ho_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) ceramic has Verdet constants of-180±3,-157±5,-87±2,-54±2,and-43±2 rad T^(-1) m^(-1) at 515,635,780,980,and 1064 nm,respectively,which are roughly 1.2-fold higher than the commercial TGG crystal.Liangbin Hu Bin Lu Bowen Xue Shixun Dai 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,19:0
2Thermal control magnetic switching dominated by spin reorientation transition in Mn-doped PrFeO_(3) single crystals显示文摘Spin reorientation transition (SRT) has attracted substantial attention due to its important role in the ultrafast control of spins. However, the transition temperature is usually too low for its practical applications. Here, we demonstrate the ability to modulate the SRT temperature in PrFe_(1−x)Mn_(x)O_(3) single crystals from 196 K to 317 K across the room temperature by varying the Mn concentration. Interestingly, the Γ_(4) to Γ_(1) spin reorientation of the Mn-doped PrFeO_(3) is distinct from the Γ_(4) to Γ_(2) spin reorientation transition as in the parent material. 3Spatial transcriptome unveils a discontinuous inflammatory pattern in proficient mismatch repair colorectal adenocarcinoma显示文摘The preexistence of immune cells in the tumor microenvironment substantiates the efficacy of immunotherapy in cancer patients.Although the complex intratumoral immune heterogeneity has been extensively studied in single cell resolution,hi-res spatial investigations are limited.In this study,we performed a spatial transcriptome analysis of 4 colorectal adenocarcinoma specimens and 2 paired distant normal specimens to identify the molecular pattern involved in a discontinuous inflammatory response in pathologically annotated cancer regions.Based on the location of spatially varied gene expression,we unmasked the spatially-varied immune ecosystem and identified the locoregional“warmed-up”immune response in predefined“cold”tumor with substantial infiltration of immune components.This“warmed-up”immune profile was found to be associated with the in-situ copy number variance and the tissue remodeling process.Further,“warmed-up”signature genes indicated improved overall survival in CRC patients obtained from TCGA database.Rongxin Zhang Yu Feng Wenjuan Ma Yanying Guo Mei Luo Young Li Yupeng Zang Xuan Dong Shixun Lu Qiang Guo Qumiao Xu Huanyi Chen Yijian Li Longqi Liu Ao Chen Gong Chen Xun Xu 2023Fundamental Research2023,3,4:0
