| 1 | Improved performance of aluminum pigments encapsulated in hybrid inorganic-organic films显示文摘An organic silane acrylate resin(PMBK) was synthesized by free-radical solution polymerization using methyl methacrylate,butyl acrylate and(3-methacryloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane as monomers.Aluminum(Al) particles were then encapsulated in inorganic-organic hybrid films that were prepared by hydrolysis and condensation of PMBK and tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS) on the surface of Al pigments.Characterization results showed that PMBK and TEOS could simultaneously hydrolyze and condense with hydroxyl groups on the surface of the Al particles to form composite Al particles coated with inorganic-organic hybrid films.Compared with raw Al particles,the corrosion resistance and adhesive properties of paint films containing the composite Al particles were improved greatly,while the glossiness of the paint films decreased slightly,from 48.6° to 47.0°.In alkaline media(pH 11),the volume of evolved H_2 of composite Al particles was only 3.5 mL,whereas that of raw Al was 83.5 mL.The glossiness of paint films containing composite Al particles decreased by 1.66%after immersion in alkaline media for24 h,whereas that of raw Al decreased by 14.82%.Peel-off tests of the paint films showed that the composite particles moved slightly away from the paint films.In contrast,the raw Al particles were seriously desquamated,suggesting encapsulation of hybrid films can greatly improve the adhesive properties of Al particles in paint films. | Pihui Pi Chao Liu Xiufang Wen Lianfu Zheng Shouping Xu Jiang Cheng | 2015 | Particuology2015,13,2: | 5 |

| 7 | Geographic differentiation and phylogeographic relationships among world soybean populations显示文摘A fast-growing protein and oil crop,soybean was domesticated in ancient China and disseminated early in Asia and afterwards to other continents,in particular the Americas in recent centuries.After adaptation,locally developed landraces and cultivars formed a diversity of geographic-populations.In an investigation of their phylogeographic features,marker-derived traits were combined with geography-related photo-and temperaturesensitive traits to study 13 geographic-populations comprising 371 accessions.Extreme differentiation among geographic-populations was observed for flowering date(33–94 days),maturity date(79–181 days),and main stem node number(6–25 nodes).Restriction-site associated DNA sequencing revealed strong genetic differentiation among these geographic-populations,including genetic richness(alleles,35,242–44,986)and specific-present alleles(SPAs,0–67).More SPAs(28–67)emerged in some secondary and tertiary centers than in centers of origin(8–11).Phenotypic and genotypic clustering divided 11 of the 13 geographic-populations into the same five sets of sensitivity-similar geographic-populations and grouped the populations of northeast China and northern North America rather than center-of-origin populations as secondary centers,indicating the importance of geography-related traits in determining genetic differences among geographic-populations.A model of four soybean dissemination paths is presented:from the center of origin to the north,east,and south in Asia and from northeast China to Europe and the Americas.These findings provide a detailed phylogeographic understanding of worldwide soybeans. | Xueqin Liu Jianbo He Yufeng Wang Guangnan Xing Yan Li Shouping Yang Tuanjie Zhao Junyi Gai | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,2: | 1 |

| 11 | The deubiquitylase UCHL3 maintains cancer stem-like properties by stabilizing the aryl hydrocarbon receptor显示文摘Cancer stem cells(CSCs)exhibit highly aggressive and metastatic features and resistance to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.Aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AhR)expression varies among non-small cell lung cancers(NSCLCs),and the mechanisms that support abnormal AhR expression in CSCs remain elusive.Here,we identified ubiquitin carboxyl terminal hydrolase L3(UCHL3),a DUB enzyme in the UCH protease family,as a bona fide deubiquitylase of the AhR in NSCLC.UCHL3 was shown to interact with,deubiquitylate,and stabilize AhR in a manner dependent on its deubiquitylation activity.Moreover,we showed that UCHL3 promotes the stem-like characteristics and potent tumorigenic capacity of NSCLC cells.UCHL3 increased AhR stability and the binding of AhR to the promoter regions of the“stemness”genes ATP-binding cassette subfamily G member 2(ABCG2),KLF4,and c-Myc.Depletion of UCHL3 markedly downregulated the“stemness”genes ABCG2,KLF4,and c-Myc,leading to the loss of selfrenewal and tumorigenesis in NSCLCs.Furthermore,the UCHL3 inhibitor TCID induced AhR degradation and exhibited significantly attenuated efficacy in NSCLC cells with stem cell-like properties.Additionally,UCHL3 was shown to indicate poor prognosis in patients with lung adenocarcinoma.In general,our results reveal that the UCHL3 deubiquitylase is pivotal for AhR protein stability and a potential target for NSCLC-targeted therapy. | Lianlian Ouyang Bin Yan Yating Liu Chao Mao Min Wang Na Liu Zuli Wang Shouping Liu Ying Shi Ling Chen Xiang Wang Yan Cheng Ya Cao Desheng Xiao Lingqiang Zhang Shuang Liu Yongguang Tao | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 1 |
