1Single whispering-gallery mode lasing in polymer bottle microresonators via spatial pump engineering显示文摘Single-mode lasing in whispering-gallery mode(WGM)microresonators is challenging to achieve.In bottle microresonators,the highly non-degenerated WGMs are spatially well-separated along the long-axis direction and provide mode-selection capability.In this work,by engineering the pump intensity to modify the spatial gain profiles of bottle microresonators,we demonstrate a simple and general approach to realizing single-mode WGM lasing in polymer bottle microresonators.The pump intensity is engineered into an interference distribution on the bottle microresonator surface.By tuning the spacing between axial positions of the interference pump patterns,the mode intensity profiles of single-bottle WGMs can be spatially overlapped with the interference stripes,intrinsically enabling single-mode lasing and selection.Attractive advantages of the system,including high sidemode suppression factors 420 dB,large spectral tunability 48 nm,low-lasing threshold and reversible control,are presented.Our demonstrated approach may have a variety of promising applications,ranging from tunable single-mode lasing and sensing to nonlinear optics.Fuxing Gu Fuming Xie Xing Lin Shuangyi Linghu Wei Fang Heping Zeng Limin Tong Songlin Zhuang 2017Light(Science & Applications)2017,6,1:17
2The impact of the new cooperative medical scheme on financial burden of tuberculosis patients: evidence from six counties in China显示文摘Background:Tuberculosis(TB)patients in China encounter heavy financial burdens throughout the course of their treatment and it is unclear how China’s health insurance systems affect the alleviation of this burden under the integrated approach.This study aimed to measure reimbursement for TB services under the New Cooperative Medical Scheme(NCMS)in rural China and to evaluate changes in catastrophic health expenditure(CHE)caused by the reimbursement policies.Methods:Reimbursement data were obtained from routine data systems for the NCMS in Yichang(YC)and Hanzhong(HZ).1884 TB inpatients reimbursed by NCMS from 2010 to 2012 were included.Household surveys were conducted.A total of 494 TB patients under the NCMS were selected in this paper.12 Focus Group Discussions(FGDs)were held.We measured the impact of the NCMS by counterfactual analysis,which analyzed the financial burden alleviation.Equity was assessed by Concentration Index(CI),and disaggregated by project sites.Results:TB inpatients were reimbursed with an effective reimbursement rate of 57.3%.Average out-of-pocket(OOP)payments for outpatient and inpatient services after diagnosis were 1413 yuan and 430 yuan,and 3572 yuan and 3013 yuan in YC and HZ,respectively.The reimbursement level for TB outpatient care after diagnosis was very low due to a limited outpatient quota.TB patients in HZ incurred higher effective reimbursement rates,but the incidence of CHE remained higher.The reduction of CHE incidence after the NCMS showed no difference statistically(P>0.05).The severity of CHE was alleviated slightly.CIs after reimbursement were all below zero and their absolute values were higher than those before reimbursement.Conclusions:Low reimbursement for TB patients could lead to heavy financial burden.Poor TB patients incurred high rates of CHE.The NCMS was found to be a protective factor for CHE,but the impact was modest and the equity of CHE did not improve.The NCMS reimbursement policies should be improved in the future to include a more comprehensive coverage of care.Supplemental programs may be necessary to expand coverage for TB care.Li Xiang Yao Pan Shuangyi Hou Hongwei Zhang Kaori DSato Qiang Li Jing Wang Shenglan Tang 2016Infectious Diseases of Poverty2016,5,1:9
3Opposite effects of nitrogen fertilization and plastic film mulching on crop N and P stoichiometry in a temperate agroecosystem显示文摘Aims Crop nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)stoichiometry can influence food nutritive quality and many ecosystem processes.However,how and why N and P stoichiometry respond to long-term agricul-tural management practices(e.g.N fertilization and film mulching)are not clearly understood.Methods We collected maize tissues(leaf,stem,root and seed)and soil sam-ples from a temperate cropland under 30-year continuous N fer-tilization and plastic film mulching treatments,measured their C,N and P concentrations(the proportion(%)relative to the sample mass),and used structural equation models to uncover the re-sponding mechanisms for crop N and P contents(the total amount(g/m2)in crop biomass).Important Findings Long-term N fertilization increased N concentrations in all crop tissues but sharply decreased P concentrations in vegetative tis-sues(leaf,stem and root),thereby reducing their C/N ratio and increasing C/P and N/P ratios.The drop in P concentration in vegetative tissues was due to the dilution effect by biomass in-crement and the priority of P supply for seed production.In con-trast,film mulching decreased N concentration but increased P concentrations in most crop tissues,thereby increasing C/N ratio and reducing C/P and N/P ratios.Film mulching increased crop P content by increasing soil temperature and moisture;whereas,mulching showed little effect on crop N content,because a posi-tive effects of soil temperature may have canceled out a negative effect by soil moisture.This indicated a decoupling of P and N uptake by crops under film mulching.In conclusion,N fertiliza-tion and plastic film mulching showed opposite effects of on crop N and P stoichiometry.Fan Ding Shuangyi Li Xiao-Tao Lü Feike A.Dijkstra Sean Schaeffer Tingting An Jiubo Pei Liangjie Sun Jingkuan Wang 2019Journal of Plant Ecology2019,12,4:8

[Method]The estrus of Holstein cows during peak lactation period were identified by manual observation and pedometer monitoring. [Result]Compared with manual observation,the detection rate of estrus in Holstein cows using pedometer monitoring was increased by 24. 01%,which reduced the labor cost and enhanced accuracy rate. 5Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. 7Clemastine rescues behavioral changes and enhances remyelination in the cuprizone mouse model of demyelination显示文摘Increasing evidence suggests that white matter disorders based on myelin sheath impairment may underlie the neuropathological changes in schizophrenia.But it is unknown whether enhancing remyelination is a beneficial approach to schizophrenia.To investigate this hypothesis,we used clemastine,an FDA-approved drug with high potency in promoting oligodendroglial differentiation and myelination,on a cuprizone-induced mouse model of demyelination.The mice exposed to cuprizone(0.2%in chow) for 6 weeks displayed schizophrenia-like behavioral changes,including decreased exploration of the center in the open field test and increased entries into the arms of the Y-maze,as well as evident demyelination in the cortex and corpus callosum.Clemastine treatment was initiated upon cuprizone withdrawal at 10 mg/kg per day for3 weeks.As expected,myelin repair was greatly enhanced in the demyelinated regions with increased mature oligodendrocytes(APC-positive) and myelin basic protein.More importantly,the clemastine treatment rescued the schizophrenia-like behavioral changes in the open field test and the Y-maze compared to vehicle,suggesting a beneficial effect via promoting myelin repair.Our findings indicate that enhancing remyelination may be a potential therapy for schizophrenia.Zhifang Li Yangtao He Shuangyi Fan Binbin Sun 2015Neuroscience Bulletin2015,31,5:4
8Inorganic lead-free cesium copper chlorine nanocrystal for highly efficient and stable warm white light-emitting diodes显示文摘Inorganic cesium lead halide(CsPbX_(3), X=Cl, Br, I) nanocrystals(NCs) attract extensive attention because of their excellent optoelectronic performance. However, the classic CsPbX_(3) NCs suffer from toxicity and instability, which impede their further applications in commercial fields. Here the inorganic lead-free cesium copper chlorine NCs are synthesized by a facile hot-injection method. The blue-emission 3D CsCu_(2)Cl_(3) and green-emission 0DCs_(3)Cu_(2)Cl_(5) NCs are prepared at 70℃ and 120℃, respectively, suggesting that the reaction temperature may account for the final components. Owing to the self-trapped exciton effect, the unique optical properties, such as high photoluminescence(PL) quantum yield, broadband emission, large Stokes shift, and long PL decay time, are demonstrated for both cesium copper chlorine NCs. Moreover, highly efficient and stable warm white light-emitting diodes are fabricated with CsCu_(2)Cl_(3) and Cs_(3)Cu_(2)Cl_(5) NCs. 9Ultrapure and highly efficient green light emitting devices based on ligand-modified CsPbBr3 quantum dots显示文摘All inorganic Cs PbBr3 perovskite quantum dots(QDs)have been recognized as promising optical materials tfabricate green light emission devices because of their excellent optical performance.However,regular Cs Pb BrQDs with an oleic acid(OA)ligand show poor stability,which limits their practical application.We replaced thOA ligand in Cs PbBr3 QDs with a 2-hexyldecanoic acid(DA)ligand and,in the synthesis,found that the nematerial has better optical properties than regular Cs PbBr3 QDs(Cs PbBr3-OA QDs).Due to the strong bindinenergy between the DA ligand and QDs,the ligand-modified Cs PbBr3 QDs(Cs PbBr3-DA QDs)show a higphotoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 96%,while the PLQY of Cs PbBr3-OA QDs is 84%.Subsequentlythe Cs PbBr3 QDs coated on the blue light-emitting diode(LED)chips as green phosphors are demonstrated.Thcolor conversion from blue to pure green is achieved by adding the Cs PbBr3-OA QDs solution up to 60μL,whilthe pure green emission devices only need 18μL Cs PbBr3-DA QDs solution under the same concentration.Thultrapure,highly efficient green light-emitting devices based on Cs PbBr3-DA QDs exhibit a luminous efficiencof 43.6 lm/W with a CIE(0.2086,0.7635)under a 15.3 m A driving current.In addition,the green emissiowavelength of the devices based on Cs PbBr3-DA QDs almost has no shift,even under a high injection currenThese results highlight the promise of DA ligand-modified Cs PbBr3 QDs for light-emitting devices and enrich thapplication field of ligand-modified Cs PbBr3 QDs.Dongdong Yan Shuangyi Zhao Huaxin Wang Zhigang Zang 2020Photonics Research2020,8,7:3

11Robotic Intra-Operative Ultrasound:Virtual Environments and Parallel Systems显示文摘Robotic intra-operative ultrasound has the potential to improve the conventional practice of diagnosis and procedure guidance that are currently performed manually.Working towards automatic or semi-automatic ultrasound,being able to define ultrasound views and the corresponding probe poses via intelligent approaches become crucial.Based on the concept of parallel system which incorporates the ingredients of artificial systems,computational experiments,and parallel execution,this paper utilized a recent developed robotic trans-esophageal ultrasound system as the study object to explore the method for developing the corresponding virtual environments and present the potential applications of such systems.The proposed virtual system includes the use of 3 D slicer as the main workspace and graphic user interface(GUI),Matlab engine to provide robotic control algorithms and customized functions,and PLUS(Public software Library for Ultra Sound imaging research)toolkit to generate simulated ultrasound images.Detailed implementation methods were presented and the proposed features of the system were explained.Based on this virtual system,example uses and case studies were presented to demonstrate its capabilities when used together with the physical TEE robot.This includes standard view definition and customized view optimization for pre-planning and navigation,as well as robotic control algorithm evaluations to facilitate real-time automatic probe pose adjustments.To conclude,the proposed virtual system would be a powerful tool to facilitate the further developments and clinical uses of the robotic intra-operative ultrasound systems.Shuangyi Wang James Housden Tianxiang Bai Hongbin Liu Junghwan Back Davinder Singh Kawal Rhode Zeng-Guang Hou Fei-Yue Wang 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,5:3
12Simultaneous passivation of bulk and interface defects through synergistic effect of anion and cation toward efficient and stable planar perovskite solar cells显示文摘Bulk and interface carrier nonradiative recombination losses impede the further improvement of power conversion efficiency(PCE)and stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs).It is highly necessary to develop multifunctional strategy to minimize surface and interface nonradiative recombination losses.Herein,we report a bulk and interface defect passivation strategy via the synergistic effect of anions and cations,where multifunctional potassium sulphate(K_(2)SO_(4))is incorporated at SnO_(2)/perovskite interface.We find that K^(+)ions in K_(2)SO_(4)diffuse into perovskite layer and suppress the formation of bulk defects in perovskite films,and the SO_(4)^(2-)ions remain located at interface via the strong chemical interaction with SnO_(2)layer and perovskite layer,respectively.Through this synergistic modification strategy,effective defect passivation and improved energy band alignment are achieved simultaneously.These beneficial effects are translated into an efficiency increase from 19.45%to 21.18%with a low voltage deficit of0.53 V mainly as a result of boosted open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))after K_(2)SO_(4)modification.In addition,the K_(2)SO_(4)modification contributes to ameliorated stability.The present work provides a route to minimize bulk and interface nonradiative recombination losses for the simultaneous realization of PCE and stability enhancement by rational anion and cation synergistic engineering.Cong Zhang Huaxin Wang Haiyun Li Qixin Zhuang Cheng Gong Xiaofei Hu Wensi Cai Shuangyi Zhao Jiangzhao Chen Zhigang Zang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12:2
13Light-emitting diodes based on colloidal silicon quantum dots显示文摘Colloidal silicon quantum dots(Si QDs) hold great promise for the development of printed Si electronics. Given their novel electronic and optical properties, colloidal Si QDs have been intensively investigated for optoelectronic applications. Among all kinds of optoelectronic devices based on colloidal Si QDs, QD light-emitting diodes(LEDs) play an important role. It is encouraging that the performance of LEDs based on colloidal Si QDs has been significantly increasing in the past decade. In this review, we discuss the effects of the QD size, QD surface and device structure on the performance of colloidal Si-QD LEDs. 14Room temperature synthesis of stable silica-coated CsPbBr3 quantum dots for amplified spontaneous emission显示文摘All-inorganic cesium lead bromide(CsPbBr;)perovskite quantum dots(QDs)with excellent optical properties have been regarded as good gain materials for amplified spontancous cmission(ASE).However,the poor stability as the results of the high sensitivity to heat and moisture limits their further applications.Here,we report a facile one-pot approach to synthesize CsPbBr,@SiO,QDs at room tcmperature.Duc to the effective defects passivation using SiO2,as-prepared CsPbBr,@SiO;QDs present an enhanced photolumincscence quantum yicld(PLQY)and chemical stability.The PLQy of CsPbBr,@SiO,QDs reaches 71.6%which is higher than 46%in pure CsPbBr,QDs.The PL intensity of CsPbBr;@SiO,QDs maintains 84%while remaining 24%in pure CsPbBr3 after 80 min heating at 60℃.The ASE performance of the films is also studied under a two-photon-pumped laser.Compared with the films using pure CsPbBr;QDs,those with as-prepared CsPbBr3@SiO2 QDs exhibit a reduced threshold of ASE.The work suggests that room-temperature-synthesized SiO2-coated perovskites QDs are promising candidates for lascr devices.QIONGHUA MO TONGCHAO SHI WENSI CAI SHUANGYI ZHAO DONGDONG YAN JUAN DU ZHIGANG ZANG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,10:2
15Highly efficient emission and high-CRI warm white light-emitting diodes from ligand-modified CsPbBr_(3) quantum dots显示文摘All-inorganic CsPbBr_(3) perovskite quantum dots(QDs)have received great attention in white light emission because of their outstanding properties.However,their practical application is hindered by poor stability.Herein,we propose a simple strategy to synthesize excellent stability and efficient emission of CsPbBr_(3) QDs by using 2-hexyldecanoic acid(DA)as a ligand to replace the regular oleic acid(OA)ligand.Thanks to the strong binding energy between DA ligand and QDs,the modified QDs not only show a high photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 96%but also exhibit high stability against ethanol and water.Thereby warm white light-emitting diodes(WLEDs)are constructed by combining lig-and modified CsPbBr_(3) QDs with red AgInZnS QDs on blue emitting InGaN chips,exhibiting a color rendering index of 93,a power efficiency of 64.8 lm/W,a CIE coordinate of(0.44,0.42)and correlated color temperature value of 3018 K.In ad-dition,WLEDs based on ligand modified CsPbBr_(3) QDs also exhibit better thermal performance than that of WLEDs based on the regular CsPbBr_(3) QDs.The combination of improved efficiency and better thermal stability with high color quality indicates that the modified CsPbBr_(3) QDs are ideal for WLEDs application.Dongdong Yan Shuangyi Zhao Yubo Zhang Huaxin Wang Zhigang Zang 2022Opto-Electronic Advances2022,5,1:2

17Multi-environment QTL mapping of crown root traits in a maize RIL population显示文摘Crown root traits,including crown root angle(CRA),diameter(CRD),and number(CRN),are major determining factors of root system architecture,which influences crop production.In maize,the genetic mechanisms determining crown root traits in the field are largely unknown.CRA,CRD,and CRN were evaluated in a recombinant inbred line population in three field trials.High phenotypic variation was observed for crown root traits,and all measured traits showed significant genotype–environment interactions.Singleenvironment(SEA)and multi-environment(MEA)quantitative trait locus(QTL)analyses were conducted for CRA,CRD,and CRN.Of 46 QTL detected by SEA,most explained less than 10%of the phenotypic variation,indicating that a large number of minor-effect QTL contributed to the genetic component of these traits.MEA detected 25 QTL associated with CRA,CRD,and CRN,and 2 and 1 QTL were identified with significant QTL-by-environment interaction effects for CRA and CRD,respectively.A total of 26.1%(12/46)of the QTL identified by SEA were also detected by MEA,with many being detected in more than one environment.These findings contribute to our understanding of the phenotypic and genotypic patterns of crown root traits in different environments.The identified environment-specific QTL and stable QTL may be used to improve root traits in maize breeding.Pengcheng Li Yingying Fana Shuangyi Yina Yunyun Wanga Houmiao Wang Yang Xu Zefeng Yang Chenwu Xu 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,4:1
