7Structural and electrical transport properties of a rare earth double perovskite oxide:Ba_2ErNbO_6显示文摘The double perovskite oxide barium erbium niobate,Ba2ErNbO6(BEN) was synthesized by solid state reaction technique.Rietveld refinement of the X-ray diffraction pattern of the sample showed cubic(Fm3m) phase at room temperature.Fourier transform infrared spectrum showed two primary phonon modes of the sample at around 387 and 600 cm–1.Raman spectrum of the sample taken at 488 nm excitation wavelength showed four primary strong peaks at 106,382,747 and 814 cm–1.Lorentzian lines with 10 bands were used to fit the Raman spectrum.A group theoretical study was performed to assign all the Raman modes.Impedance spectroscopy was applied to investigate the ac electrical conductivity of BEN in a temperature range from 303 to 673 K and in a frequency range from 100 Hz – 1 MHz.The dielectric relaxation mechanism was discussed in the frame work of permittivity,conductivity,modulus and impedance formalisms.The complex plane plot of the impedance data was modeled by an equivalent circuit consisting of two serially connected R-CPE units,(one for the grain and the other for the grain boundary),each containing a resistor(R) and a constant phase element(CPE).The R-CPE units were used to incorporate the non-ideal character of the polarization phenomenon instead of an ideal capacitive behaviour.The relaxation time corresponding to dielectric loss was found to obey the Arrhenius law with activation energy of 0.85 eV.The frequency dependent conductivity spectra followed the Jonscher power law.The Cole-Cole model was used to investigate the dielectric relaxation mechanism in the sample.Rajesh Mukherjee Binita Ghosh Sujoy Saha Chandrahas Bharti T.P.Sinha 2014Journal of Rare Earths2014,32,4:0
8Prospects of gluino searches in multi-lepton channels in light of the ongoing LHC RUN-Ⅲ显示文摘This study investigates the prospect of discovering strongly interacting gluinos in different multi-lepton channels with lepton multiplicities greater than or equal to 2 at LHC RUN-Ⅲ,considering several pMSSM scenarios.The effectiveness of the multivariate analysis(MVA) method with the boosted decision tree(BDT) algorithm is explored to obtain a better significance for different models.Promising results are obtained for the 3-lepton channels,indicating that the use of MVA methods can improve the sensitivity of the search for gluinos at LHC RUN-Ⅲ.The study probes the multi-lepton signatures arising from gluinos via intermediate eweakinos and sleptons at an early stage of the LHC RUN-Ⅲ.The heavier eweakinos can give rise to three or four lepton signals,in which the squark hierarchy between the L and R types plays a crucial role.The study considers two sets of benchmark points that satisfy all the collider constraints obtained from the LHC RUN-Ⅱ data.Moreover,these sets of benchmark points are mostly consistent with WMAP/PLANCK data and the muon(g-2) constraint.The corresponding results from the MVA technique demonstrate that,even for an integrated luminosity of 270 fb-1,the 5 σ discovery prospect of3l+jets+ETfor Mg=1.8 TeV in the wino type model is promising.The study also presents various other models that may emerge at the early stage of LHC RUN-Ⅲ.Wino type models in the scenario where left squarks are light and right squarks are heavy exhibit the best prospect of discovering gluinos in multi-lepton channels in the LHC RUN-Ⅲ experiment.The findings of this study provide crucial insights into the potential discovery of gluinos in multi-lepton channels.Abhi Mukherjee Saurabh Niyogi Sujoy Poddar Jyoti Prasad Saha 2023Chinese Physics C2023,47,10:0
9Insulator-to-metal transition in RCoO_(3)(R=Pr,Nd)显示文摘We report a straightforward tool to investigate insulator-metal transition in RCoO_(3)(R=Pr,and Nd)nanoparticles prepared by a sol-gel technique.Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)of the as-prepared gel is performed to get the lowest possible calcination temperature of RCoO_(3)nanoparticles.The Rietveld refinement of the powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns for both samples shows that the samples crystallize in the orthorhombic(Pnma)phase at room temperature.The particle size of the sample is determined by scanning electron microscopy.Ac conductivity of the materials is analyzed in the temperature range from 303 K to 673 K and in the frequency range from 42 Hz to 1.1 MHz.The insulator-to-metal transition of PrCoO_(3)and NdCoO_(3)is analyzed by ac impedance spectroscopy.DC resistivity measurement is also done to cross check the insulator-metal transition in RCoO_(3)system.Sujoy Saha Sadhan Chanda Alo Dutta T.P.Sinha 2023Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2023,13,3:0
