1Controlled synthesis of Zeolite adsorbent from lowgrade diatomite:A case study of self-assembled sodalite microspheres显示文摘Highly efficient and sustainable conversion technologies to generate uniform sodalite(Na8(AlSiO4)6(OH)2)zeolite micro spheres with low-grade waste natural diatomite as raw materials via a solution-mediated crystallization route were developed in the present study.The synthesis process can be considered as an in-situ zeolitization of diatomite precursor without involving any me so scale template and any post-synthetic modification.The mass ratios of diatomite and AlCl3·6 H2 O have remarkable effect on the morphology,crystal structure and porosity of sodalite zeolite product.The preferred sodalite microspheres with uniform mesoporous of size 3.5-5.5 nm and large surface area of 162.5 m2/g exhibit well removal performance for heavy metal ions(Pb(II),Cd(II),Zn(II),and Cu(II)),with the highest adsorption abilities for Pb(II)ions of 365 mg/g.In addition,the effect of contact time,initial ion concentration,competitive adsorption and solution pH were evaluated.The removal performance results from synergistic effects of dominating cation-exchange and additional surface chemisorption.The study may broadly help unveil chemical control reactions of the zeolitization processes of diatomite,and thus facilitates the development of promising zeolite materials for the use in natural and engineered aquatic environments by recvcling waste diatomite resources.Lingmin Sun Junshu Wu Jinshu Wang Gong Yu Jingchao Liu Yucheng Du Yongli Li Hongyi Li 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,5:3

4Cytochrome P450 enzymes mediated by DNA methylation is involved in deoxynivalenol-induced hepatoxicity in piglets显示文摘Deoxynivalenol(DON)is an inevitable contaminant in animal feed and can lead to liver damage,then decreasing appetite and causing growth retardation in piglets.Although many molecular mechanisms are related to hepatoxicity caused by DON,few studies have been done on cytochrome P450(CYP450)enzymes and DNA methylation.To explore the role of CYP450 enzymes and DNA methylation in DONinduced liver injury,male piglets were fed a control diet,or diet containing 1.0 or 3.0 mg/kg DON for 4 weeks.DON significantly raised the activity of aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),and glutamyl transpeptidase(GGT)(P<0.01),leading to liver injury.In vivo study found that DON exposure increased the expression of CYP450 enzymes(such as CYP1A1,CYP2E1,CYP3A29)(P<0.05),and disturbed the expression of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase(NNMT),galanin-like peptide(GALP)and insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF-1)(P<0.05),in which DNA methylation affected the expression of these genes.In vitro study(human normal hepatocytes L02)further proved that DON elevated the expression of CYP1A1,CYP2E1 and CYP3A4(P<0.05),and inhibited cell growth in a dose-dependent manner,resulting in cell necrosis.More importantly,knockdown of CYP1A1 or CYP2E1 could alleviate DON-induced growth inhibition by promoting IGF-1 expression.Taken together,increased CYP450 enzymes expression was one of the mechanisms of hepatoxicity and growth inhibition induced by DON,suggesting that the decrease of CYP450 enzymes can antagonize the hepatoxicity in animals,which provides some value for animal feed safety.Aimei Liu Yaqin Yang Jingchao Guo Yan Gao Qinghua Wu Ling Zhao Lv-hui Sun Xu Wang 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,2:1
5Anti-catalytic and zincophilic layers integrated zinc anode towards efficient aqueous batteries for ultra-long cycling stability显示文摘Aqueous zinc-based battery is usually plagued by serious dendrites and side reactions including Zn corrosion and water decomposition on the anode.To address the drawbacks,constructing coating layers with high conductivity and anti-catalytic effects on hydrogen evolution reaction has been considered as an efficient strategy.Herein,cheap and abundant twodimensional(2D)conductive graphite(KS-6)coating layer with high electronic conductivity(~106 S·m^(−1))could directly form strong bonding with Zn foil due to high zincophilicity,which correspondingly protects Zn metal from liquid electrolyte to inhibit parasitic hydrogen evolution and guide uniform Zn electrodeposition during cycling.The KS-6 layer owns a profitable charge redistribution effect to endow Zn anode with a lower nucleation energy barrier and a more uniformly distributed electric field compared with bare Zn.Therefore,such integrated Zn anode exhibits low voltage hysteresis(~38 mV)and excellent cycling stability with dendrite-free behaviors(1 mA·cm^(−2)and 2 mAh·cm^(−2))over 2,000 h,far outperforming many reported Zn metal anodes in aqueous systems.Encouragingly,in light of the superior Zn@KS-6 anode,VNOx powders and Prussian blue analogs Mn_(2)Fe(CN)_(6)are applied as the cathode materials to assemble full batteries,which show remarkable cycling stabilities and high Coulombic efficiencies(CEs)over 200 cycles with capacity retention of 81.5%for VNOx//Zn@KS-6 battery and over 400 cycles with capacity retention of 94.6%for Mn_(2)Fe(CN)_(6)//Zn@KS-6 battery,respectively.Chunli Wang Yuxing Gao Lianshan Sun Yuan Zhao Dongming Yin Hairui Wang Jingchao Cao Yong Cheng Limin Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:1

9Synthesis and evaluation of peptide-fentanyl analogue conjugates as dualμ/δ-opioid receptor agonists for the treatment of pain显示文摘Novel peptide-fentanyl analogue conjugates were synthesized by the covalent coupling of carfentanyl derivatives to the C-terminus or N-terminus of the conformationally constrained dermorphin tetrapeptide BVD03 via a chemical linker.The carfentanyl-related analogues displayed distinct binding and functional activities atμ/δopioid receptors(MOR/DOR)and antinociceptive effects when conjugated to the peptide.The most potent compound,SW-LJ-11,displayed mixed MOR/DOR agonist properties in the low nanomolar range and significant analgesic efficacy in vivo in four classic mouse models of pain.Interestingly,SW-LJ-11 did not exhibit any physical dependence or respiratory depression,in contrast to an equipotent analgesic dose of morphine or BVD03,indicating that the use of opioid peptide-fentanyl analogue conjugates as dual MOR/DOR agonists may be a promising strategy for obtaining safer opioids.Jing Li Tao Zhang Jialin Sun Fengxia Ren Hongxin Jia Zixing Yu Jingchao Cheng Weiguo Shi 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:0

12The Electromagnetic Characteristics of the Tianlai Cylindrical Pathfinder Array显示文摘A great challenge for 21 cm intensity mapping experiments is the strong foreground radiation which is orders of magnitude brighter than the 21 cm signal.Removal of the foreground takes advantage of the fact that its frequency spectrum is smooth while the redshifted 21 cm signal spectrum is stochastic.However,a complication is the nonsmoothness of the instrument response.This paper describes the electromagnetic simulation of the Tianlai cylinder array,a pathfinder for 21 cm intensity mapping experiments.Due to the vast scales involved,a direct simulation requires a large amount of computing resources.We have made the simulation practical by using a combination of methods:first simulate a single feed,then an array of feed units,finally with the feed array and a cylindrical reflector together,obtain the response for a single cylinder.We studied its radiation pattern,bandpass response and the effects of mutual coupling between feed units,and compared the results with observation.Many features seen in the measurement result are reproduced well in the simulation,especially the oscillatory features which are associated with the standing waves on the reflector.The mutual coupling between feed units is quantified with Sparameters,which decrease as the distance between the two feeds increases.Based on the simulated S-parameters,we estimate the correlated noise which has been seen in the visibility data,and the results show very good agreement with the data in both magnitude and frequency structures.These results provide useful insights on the problem of 21 cm signal extraction for real instruments.Shijie Sun Jixia Li Fengquan Wu Peter Timbie Reza Ansari Jingchao Geng Huli Shi Albert Stebbins Yougang Wang Juyong Zhang Xuelei Chen 2022Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,6:0

14Effect of Polymer-based Grinding Aid on Sulfate Attacking Resistance of Concrete显示文摘Influences of polymer-based grinding aid(PGA) on the damage process of concrete exposed to sulfate attack under dry-wet cycles were investigated. The mass loss, dynamic modulus of elasticity(Erd), and S and Ca element contents of concrete specimens were measured. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP), and X-ray diffractometry(XRD) were used to investigate the changing of microstructure of interior concrete. The results indicated that PGA was capable of reducing the mass loss and improving the sulfate attack resistance of concrete. X-ray fluorescence(XRF) analysis revealed that PGA delayed the transport process of sulfate ions and Ca ions. In addition, MIP analysis disclosed that the micropores of concrete with PGA increased in the fraction of 20-100 nm and decreased in the residues of 200 nm.
