| 1 | High speed interpolation for micro-line trajectory and adaptive real-time look-ahead scheme in CNC machining显示文摘CNC machining plays an important role in mechanical manufacturing.A key issue is to improve the machining feedrate while keeping the machining precision and satisfying the acceleration constraints of the CNC machine.For the consecutive micro-line segments interpolation,the velocities at the junction of two segments are the bottlenecks for the machining efficiency.This paper proposes a multi-period turning method to improve the feedrate at the junctions using the linear acceleration and deceleration mode,which utilizes the maximal acceleration capabilities of the NC machine while satisfying the machining precision.A new and more efficient look-ahead method and a feedrate override method are also proposed to boast the global machining speed.The proposed algorithm has been implemented on Blue Sky NC System,and experimented in real material manufacturing.Compared with several existing algorithms,the current algorithm can improve the manufacturing time ranging from 50% to 180%,depending on the machining parameters,and also results in better machining quality.In addition,the algorithm also satisfies the need of real-time interpolation. | ZHANG LiXian SUN RuiYong GAO XiaoShan LI HongBo | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6: | 17 |
| 2 | Biological Activity and Antibacterial Property of Nano-structured TiO_2 Coating Incorporated with Cu Prepared by Micro-arc Oxidation显示文摘Micro-arc oxidized Cu-incorporated TiO2 coatings(Cu—TiO2) were prepared in the Ca,P,Cu-containing electrolyte to obtain an implant material with superior biological activity and antibacterial property.The surface topography,phase,and element composition of the TiO2 and Cu—TiO2 coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDS),respectively.Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus) was selected to evaluate the antibacterial property of the Cu—TiO2 coatings,whereas osteoblastic MG63 cells were cultured on the coatings to investigate the biological activity.The obtained results demonstrated that Cu element was successfully incorporated into the porous nano-structured TiO2 coatings,which did not alter apparently the surface topography and phase composition of the coatings as compared to the Cu-free TiO2 coatings.Moreover,the antibacterial studies suggested that the Cu-incorporated TiO2 coatings could significantly inhibit the adhesion of S.aureus.In addition,the in vitro biological evaluation displayed that the adhesion,proliferation and differentiation of MG63 cells on the Cu-incorporated coatings were enhanced as compared to those on the Cu-free coatings and Ti plates.In conclusion,the innovative Cu-incorporated nano-structured TiO2 coatings on Ti substrate with excellent antibacterial property and biological activity are promising candidates for orthopedic implant. | Wei Zhu Zhenxiang Zhang Beibei Gu Junying Sun Lixian Zhu | 2013 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,3: | 8 |
| 3 | Synthesis, structure and photocatalysis properties of two 3D Isostructural Ln (Ⅲ)-MOFs based 2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid显示文摘Two new 3 D metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) named [Pr_2(PDA)3-3 H_2 O]-H_2 O(1) and[Nd_2(PDA)3-3 H_2 O] H_2 O(_2) [2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid(H2 PDA)] were synthesized by solvothermal method. They were characterized by elemental analyses(EA), infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis(TG), photocatalysis performance and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies(XRD).The XRD analysis indicated that MOFs(1) and(2) both belong to the monoclinic system with space group P2(1)/C. The structural model were drawn by the diamond software, and the structure revel that MOFs(1) and(2) adopt three-dimensional(3 D) frameworks constructed by cross-linking of one-dimensional(1 D) infinite chain secondary building unit(SBU) by 2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid and hydrogen bond as linker. These frameworks feature channels inside which coordinated H_20 solvent molecules are located. Thermogravimetric analysis showed that both MOFs are thermally stable, the photocatalytic evaluation showed the materials have a good prospect in degration methylene blue. | 4 | A comparative study of the characteristics of two Coxsackie A virus type 16 strains (genotype B)显示文摘Coxsackie A virus is one of the major pathogens associated with hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD). The etiological characteristics of Coxsackie A virus type 16 (CA16) are thought to correlate with the pathological process of its infection. Two CA16 strains that were isolated from a severe HFMD patient presented with different plaque forms. This observation, along with biological analysis, indicated that the differences in the strains' biological characteristics, such as proliferation kinetics and immunogenicity, correlate with differences in their pathogenicity toward neonatal mice. Furthermore, these differences are thought to be associated with the sequence of the 5′ non-coding region of the viral genome and the VP1 structural region sequence. | 5 | Fabrication and characterization of novel meso-porous carbon/n-octadecane as form-stable phase change materials for enhancement of phase-change behavior显示文摘In this study, series of novel composite phase change materials(PCMs) were prepared through vacuum impregnation by using meso-porous carbon as a supporting matrix and n-octadcane as PCMs.The meso-porous carbon material was prepared through one-pot co-assembly method, using resorcinol and formaldehyde as carbon precursor, tetraethoxysilane as silica sources and triblock copolymer F127 as a template. And the phase behaviors of n-octadcane confined in the nano-porous structure of the meso-porous carbon were further investigated. Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy spectra show that n-octadecane was effectively encapsulated in the porous structure of mesoporous carbon and the composite PCMs were successfully prepared. Differential scanning calorimetry results confirm that the composite PCMs possess a good phase change behavior, fast thermal-response rate and excellent thermal cycling stability. In addition, the composite PCMs possess expected heat storage and heat release properties. | 6 | Design of near-α Ti alloys via a cluster formula approach and their high-temperature oxidation resistance显示文摘The multi-component composition characteristics of high-temperature near-α Ti alloys were investigated in the present work by means of a cluster formula approach. The uniform cluster formula [CN12 cluster](glue atom)3 for the hexagonal close-packed α solid solution was first obtained based on the Friedel oscillation theory, with a total atom number in the formula of Z = 16. Then it was analyzed that the Z values in the cluster composition formulas of typical near-α Ti alloys are within the range of Z = 16.0016.30, being perfectly consistent with the ideal Z = 16. Based on it, a series of new alloys with Z = 16 and with Nb/Ta substitution for Mo in Ti1100 alloy were designed, suction-cast into φ 6 mm rods, and then heat-treated with solid solution and aging. It was found that the alloy with co-addition of Mo, Ta and Nb has a high strength and good ductility at both room and high temperatures. More importantly, the additions of Nb and Ta can contribute to the formation of continuous and compact Al2O3 scales, resulting in an obvious improvement of oxidation resistances at both 923 K and 1073 K. | 11 | Nitrogen-doped hierarchical porous carbon materials derived from diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) for supercapacitors显示文摘Nitrogen-doped porous carbon materials(NPCs) have been successfully fabricated by a simple one-step pyrolysis of diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid(DTPA) in the presence of KOH. The as-synthesized NPCs displayed a high specific surface area(3214 m^2 g^(-1)) and a well-defined porous structure when the annealing temperature reached 800 ℃, which showed superior electrochemical performance as supercapacitor electrode materials. Electrochemical tests showed that the NPCs achieved an impressive specific capacitance of 323 F g^(-1) at a current density of 0.5 A g^(-1) in 6 M KOH aqueous solution and an outstanding cycle stability, negligible specific capacitance decay after 5000 cycles at 10 A g^(-1).
