| 1 | A Machine-Learning Based Time Constrained Resource Allocation Scheme for Vehicular Fog Computing显示文摘Through integrating advanced communication and data processing technologies into smart vehicles and roadside infrastructures,the Intelligent Transportation System(ITS)has evolved as a promising paradigm for improving safety,efficiency of the transportation system.However,the strict delay requirement of the safety-related applications is still a great challenge for the ITS,especially in dense traffic environment.In this paper,we introduce the metric called Perception-Reaction Time(PRT),which reflects the time consumption of safety-related applications and is closely related to road efficiency and security.With the integration of the incorporating information-centric networking technology and the fog virtualization approach,we propose a novel fog resource scheduling mechanism to minimize the PRT.Furthermore,we adopt a deep reinforcement learning approach to design an on-line optimal resource allocation scheme.Numerical results demonstrate that our proposed schemes is able to reduce about 70%of the RPT compared with the traditional approach. | Xiaosha Chen Supeng Leng Ke Zhang Kai Xiong | 2019 | China Communications2019,16,11: | 3 |
| 2 | A Low-Overhead Energy-Efficient ARQ Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks显示文摘Wireless sensor network(WSN) is a typical kind of low-power and lossy network,in where ARQ(Automatic Repeat reQuest)schemes are often used to improve packets reliability.However,the ARQ related packets may incur significant load and consume more energy.This paper proposes a novel energy efficient ARQ protocol called ARQ+,which uses the nearest-first scheme and NAK aggregation scheme to reduce the amount and transmission hops of the ARQ related packets.Consequently,the energy consumption is significantly decreased.Theoretical analyses of ARQ+ on energy consumption,packet arrive ratio and latency are provided.Performance improvement of ARQ+ is validated by extensive simulations.They both show that ARQ+ has satisfactory energy efficiency,good packets arriving ratio and reasonable average packet delay comparing to traditional ARQ schemes. | WEI Yunkai MAO Yuming LENG Supeng HUANG Wentao | 2014 | China Communications2014,11,10: | 2 |
| 3 | Service-Oriented Wireless Multimedia Multicasting with Partial Frequency Reuse显示文摘Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) is employed in a wide range of applications because it promises to expose computation-intensive tasks as services and combine them with new applications to accelerate their applications development process. For service-oriented multimedia applications, the performance of multicasting transmission services under multimedia traffic must be evaluated. Multiview Video(MVV) is a promising and emerging type of multimedia traffic that consists of multiple video streams, allows stream switching, and requires strict Quality-of-Service(Qo S). In this study, we investigated multicast transmission of MVV in wireless cellular networks with Partial Frequency Reuse(PFR) and focused on two challenging problems:(1) multicast group formation and(2) subchannel and power allocation. Initially, we propose a novel Content-based Partial frequency reuse Diversity Grouping(CPDG) scheme to allocate users to multicast groups on the basis of Partial frequency reuse Diversity(PD) in wireless networks with PFR. After group formation, an optimization problem for subchannel and power allocation is formulated to minimize network power consumption under Qo S constraint. Thereafter,the optimization problem is divided into two subproblems and solved using simplex method and Karush-KuhnTucker(KKT) condition. Finally, to solve the optimization problem, a suboptimal scheme referred to as Partial frequency reuse Diversity Based Energy-efficient Multicasting(PDEM) is proposed by dynamically allocating wireless resources under Qo S constraint. The simulation results show that the proposed PDEM scheme can achieve close-to-optimal performance. | 11 | Recent development of catalytic strategies for sustainable ammonia production显示文摘Presently,ammonia is an ideal candidate for future clean energy.The Haber-Bosch process has been an essential ammonia production process,and it is one of the most important technological advancements since its invention,sustaining the explosive growth of military munitions industry and fertilizers in the first half of the 20th century.However,the process is facing great challenges:the growing need for ammonia and the demands of environmental protection.High energy consumption and high CO_(2) emissions greatly limit the application of the Haber-Bosch method,and increasing research efforts are devoted to'green'ammonia synthesis.Thermocatalytic,electrocatalytic,and photocatalytic ammonia production under mild conditions and the derived chemical looping and plasma ammonia production methods,have been widely developed.Electrocatalytic and photocatalytic methods,which use low fossil fuels,are naturally being considered as future directions for the development of ammonia production.Although their catalytic efficiency of ammonia generation is not yet sufficient to satisfy the actual demands,considerable progress has been made in terms of regulating structure and morphology of catalyst and improving preparation efficiency.The chemical looping approach of ammonia production differs from the thermocatalytic,electrocatalytic,and photocatalytic methods,and is the method of reusing raw materials.The plasma treatment approach alters the overall ammonia production approach and builds up a new avenue of development in combination with thermal,photocatalytic,and electrocatalytic methods as well.This review discusses several recent effective catalysts for different ammonia production methods and explores mechanisms as well as efficiency of these catalysts for catalytic N2fixation of ammonia. | Supeng Yu Ting Xiang Njud SAlharbi Bothaina AAl-aidaroos Changlun Chen | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,62,10: | 0 |
