1RESEARCH ON THE EVALUATION METHOD OF FRICTION AND LUBRICATION IN DEEP DRAWING显示文摘The deformation characteristic of bland in deep drawing is discussed. It is pointed out that the friction and lubrication conditions in for drawing are different from that in mechanical motion or machine work or other plastic process. The common test methods in laboratories are analyzed. It shows that though all those test methods can test the friction coefficient, the probe test method is most suitable for the research of friction and lubrication and the process in deep drawing, for this method is identical with the actual work condition either from the test principle or deformation status of the blank. 2Evaluation of deep learning algorithms for national scale landslide susceptibility mapping of Iran显示文摘The identification of landslide-prone areas is an essential step in landslide hazard assessment and mitigation of landslide-related losses.In this study,we applied two novel deep learning algorithms,the recurrent neural network(RNN)and convolutional neural network(CNN),for national-scale landslide susceptibility mapping of Iran.We prepared a dataset comprising 4069 historical landslide locations and 11 conditioning factors(altitude,slope degree,profile curvature,distance to river,aspect,plan curvature,distance to road,distance to fault,rainfall,geology and land-sue)to construct a geospatial database and divided the data into the training and the testing dataset.We then developed RNN and CNN algorithms to generate landslide susceptibility maps of Iran using the training dataset.We calculated the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and used the area under the curve(AUC)for the quantitative evaluation of the landslide susceptibility maps using the testing dataset.Better performance in both the training and testing phases was provided by the RNN algorithm(AUC=0.88)than by the CNN algorithm(AUC=0.85).Finally,we calculated areas of susceptibility for each province and found that 6%and 14%of the land area of Iran is very highly and highly susceptible to future landslide events,respectively,with the highest susceptibility in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province(33.8%).About 31%of cities of Iran are located in areas with high and very high landslide susceptibility.The results of the present study will be useful for the development of landslide hazard mitigation strategies.Phuong Thao Thi Ngo Mahdi Panahi Khabat Khosravi Omid Ghorbanzadeh Narges Kariminejad Artemi Cerda Saro Lee 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,2:13

4Synthesis and characterization of NaYF4:Yb3+,Er3+@silica-N=folic acid nanocomplex for bioimaginable detecting MCF-7 breast cancer cells显示文摘Upconversion nanophosphors are new promising nanomaterials to be used as biolabels for detection and imaging of cancer cells.These nanophosphors absorb long-wavelength excitation radiation in the infrared or near infrared region and emit shorter wavelength,higher energy radiation from ultraviolet to infrared.In this paper,we studied the hydrothermal method and optical properties of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+for biomedical application.After synthesis,these NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+nanophosphors were functionalized with aminosilanes and folic acid.Folic acid binds to the folate receptor on the surface of MCF-7 breast cancer cells and this binding promotes internalization of the nanophosphors via endocytosis.The sizes of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+@silica-N=FA(folic acid)nanophosphors can be controlled with length of the rod about 300-800 nm and diameter of the rod about 100-200 nm.Phase structure of NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+is in hexagonal crystal system.The photo luminescence(PL)spectra of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+@silica-N=FA nanophosphors were measured.These nanophosphors emit in red color with the strongest band at 650 nm under 980 nm excitation.This result can provide NaYF4:Er^3+,Yb^3+@silica-N=FA complex for developing fluorescence label and image tool in cancer biology and medicine.Ha Thi Phuong Tran Thu Huong Le Thi Vinh Hoang Thi Khuyen Do Thi Thao Nguyen Thanh Huong Pham Thi Lien Le Quoc Minh 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,11:5
5Orange G degradation by heterogeneous peroxymonosulfate activation based on magnetic MnFe_(2)O_(4)/α-MnO_(2) hybrid显示文摘Wastewater containing an azo dye Orange G(OG)causes massive environmental pollution,thus it is critical to develop a highly effective,environmental-friendly,and reusable catalyst in peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation for OG degradation.In this work,we successfully applied a magnetic MnFe_(2)O_(4)/α-MnO_(2) hybrid fabricated by a simple hydrothermal method for OG removal in water.The characteristics of the hybrid were investigated by Xray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,Brunauer–Emmett–Teller method,vibrating sample magnetometry,electron paramagnetic resonance,thermogravimetric analysis,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The effects of operational parameters(i.e.,catalytic system,catalytic dose,solution pH,and temperature)were investigated.The results exhibited that 96.8% of OG degradation was obtained with MnFe_(2)O_(4)/α-MnO2(1:9)/PMS system in 30 min regardless of solution pH changes.Furthermore,the possible reaction mechanism of the coupling system was proposed,and the degradation intermediates of OG were identified by mass spectroscopy.The radical quenching experiments and EPR tests demonstrated that SO_(4)•̶,O_(2)•̶,and 1O2 were the primary reactive oxygen species responsible for the OG degradation.The hybrid also displayed unusual stability with less than 30%loss in the OG removal after four sequential cycles.Overall,magnetic MnFe2O4/α-MnO2 hybrid could be used as a high potential activator of PMS to remove orange G and maybe other dyes from wastewater.Le Thi Thao To Van Nguyen Van Quy Nguyen Ngoc Man Phan Ki Jae Kim Nguyen Nhat Huy Nguyen Trung Dung 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2:3
6Predicting rock size distribution in mine blasting using various novel soft computing models based on meta-heuristics and machine learning algorithms显示文摘Blasting is well-known as an effective method for fragmenting or moving rock in open-pit mines.To evaluate the quality of blasting,the size of rock distribution is used as a critical criterion in blasting operations.A high percentage of oversized rocks generated by blasting operations can lead to economic and environmental damage.Therefore,this study proposed four novel intelligent models to predict the size of rock distribution in mine blasting in order to optimize blasting parameters,as well as the efficiency of blasting operation in open mines.Accordingly,a nature-inspired algorithm(i.e.,firefly algorithm-FFA)and different machine learning algorithms(i.e.,gradient boosting machine(GBM),support vector machine(SVM),Gaussian process(GP),and artificial neural network(ANN))were combined for this aim,abbreviated as FFA-GBM,FFA-SVM,FFA-GP,and FFA-ANN,respectively.Subsequently,predicted results from the abovementioned models were compared with each other using three statistical indicators(e.g.,mean absolute error,root-mean-squared error,and correlation coefficient)and color intensity method.For developing and simulating the size of rock in blasting operations,136 blasting events with their images were collected and analyzed by the Split-Desktop software.In which,111 events were randomly selected for the development and optimization of the models.Subsequently,the remaining 25 blasting events were applied to confirm the accuracy of the proposed models.Herein,blast design parameters were regarded as input variables to predict the size of rock in blasting operations.Finally,the obtained results revealed that the FFA is a robust optimization algorithm for estimating rock fragmentation in bench blasting.Among the models developed in this study,FFA-GBM provided the highest accuracy in predicting the size of fragmented rocks.The other techniques(i.e.,FFA-SVM,FFA-GP,and FFA-ANN)yielded lower computational stability and efficiency.Hence,the FFA-GBM model can be used as a powerful and precise soft computing tool that can be applied to practical engineering cases aiming to improve the quality of blasting and rock fragmentation.Chengyu Xie Hoang Nguyen Xuan-Nam Bui Yosoon Choi Jian Zhou Thao Nguyen-Trang 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,3:3
7Indirect traumatic optic neuropathy显示文摘Indirect traumatic optic neuropathy(ITON) refers to optic nerve injury resulting from impact remote to the optic nerve. The mechanism of injury is not understood, and there are no confirmed protocols for prevention, mitigation or treatment. Most data concerning this condition comes from case series of civilian patients suffering blunt injury, such as from sports- or motor vehicle-related concussion, rather than military-related ballistic or blast damage. 8玉米种质材料遗传多样性的ISSR分析(英文)显示文摘【目的】利用ISSR分子标记分析越南北部山区当地玉米种质材料的遗传多样性。【方法】采用ISSR技术和10个引物对从越南和老挝北部山区3个省收集的21份玉米种质材料即12份普通玉米和9份糯玉米的遗传多样性进行分析。【结果】在21份玉米种质材料中可以检测到108个ISSR片段,其多态性为100%。ISSR引物的多态性信息量值为0.10~0.39,每条引物平均为0.24;分辨力为14.29~0.48,平均每条为4.48。除ISSR-T1以外,所有ISSR引物在13份玉米材料中均产生特异性片段。根据聚类分析结果,使用70%的遗传相似性作为切割点,建立了玉米种质材料系统树,21份玉米种质材料被分为3大类。不同玉米材料的相似系数为0.52~0.90.【结论】ISSR标记可提供玉米种质遗传多样性信息,对越南玉米种质材料的收集、保护和育种具有重要作用。Vu Van Liet Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh Nguyen Thi Thuy Vu Thi Bich Hanh Pham Quang Tuan Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao 2011南方农业学报2011,42,9:3
9A fully automated framework for helicopter rotor blades design and analysis including aerodynamics,structure, and manufacturing显示文摘This study describes an integrated framework in which basic aerospace engineering aspects(performance, aerodynamics, and structure) and practical aspects(configuration visualization and manufacturing) are coupled and considered in one fully automated design optimization of rotor blades. A number of codes are developed to robustly perform estimation of helicopter configuration from sizing, performance analysis, trim analysis, to rotor blades configuration representation. These codes are then integrated with a two-dimensional airfoil analysis tool to fully design rotor blades configuration including rotor planform and airfoil shape for optimal aerodynamics in both hover and forward flights. A modular structure design methodology is developed for realistic composite rotor blades with a sophisticated cross-sectional geometry. A D-spar cross-sectional structure is chosen as a baseline. The framework is able to analyze all realistic inner configurations including thicknesses of D-spar, skin, web, number and ply angles of layers of each composite part,and materials. A number of codes and commercial software(ANSYS, Gridgen, VABS, Pre VABS,etc.) are implemented to automate the structural analysis from aerodynamic data processing to sectional properties and stress analysis. An integrated model for manufacturing cost estimation ofcomposite rotor blades developed at the Aerodynamic Analysis and Design Laboratory(AADL),Aerospace Information Engineering Department, Konkuk University is integrated into the framework to provide a rapid and dynamic feedback to configuration design. The integration of three modules has constructed a framework where the size of a helicopter, aerodynamic performance analysis, structure analysis, and manufacturing cost estimation could be quickly investigated. 10Porphyromonas gingivalis Resistance to Polymyxin B Is Determined by the Lipid A 4’-Phosphatase, PGN_0524显示文摘Aim To elucidate the genetic basis for the pronounced resistance that the oral pathogen, Porphyromonas gingivalis (P. gingivalis), exhibits towards the cationic antimicrobial peptide, polymyxin B. Methodology A genetic screen of P. gingivalis clones generated by a Tn4400’-based random insertion mutagenesis strategy was performed to identify bacteria harboring novel genetic mutations that render P. gingivalis susceptible to killing by the cationic antimicrobial peptide, polymyxin B (PMB, 50 μg-mL-1). Results P. gingivalis (ATCC 33277) is unusually resistant to the cationic antimicrobial peptide, PMB at relatively high concentrations (200 μg-mL-1). Approximately 2,700 independent Tn4400’-derived mutants of P. gingivalis were examined for increased sensitivity to PMB killing at a relatively low dose (50 μg-mL-1). A single PMB-sensitive mutant was obtained in this phenotypic screen. We determined that the Tn4400’ transposon was integrated into the gene encoding the lipid A 4’-phosphatase, PGN_0524, demonstrating that this insertion event was responsible for its increased susceptibility of this clone to PMB-dependent killing. The resulting mutant strain, designated 0524-Tn4400’, was highly sensitive to PMB killing relative to wild-type P. gingivalis, and exhibited the same sensitivity as the previously characterized strain, 0524KO, which bears a genetically engineered deletion in the PGN_0524 locus. Positive ion mass spectrometric structural (MALDI-TOF MS) analyses revealed that lipid A isolates from 0524-Tn4400’ and 0524KO strains displayed strikingly similar MALDI-TOF MS spectra that were substantially different from the wildtype P. gingivalis lipid A spectrum. Finally, intact 0524- Tn4400’ and 0524KO mutant bacteria, as well as their corresponding LPS isolates, were significantly more potent in stimulating Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)-dependent E-selectin expression in human endothelial cells relative to intact wild-type P. gingivalis or its corresponding LPS isolate. Conclusion The combined molecular evidence provided in this report suggests that PGN_0524, a lipid A 4’-phosphatase, is the sole genetic element conferring the ability of the periodontopathogen, P. gingivalis, to evade the killing activity of cationic antimicrobial peptides, such as PMB. These data strongly implicate PGN_0524 as a critical virulence factor for the ability of P. gingivalis to evade front-line host innate defenses that are dependent upon cationic antimicrobial peptide activity and TLR4 sensing.Stephen R.
