2YSO coded aperture camera based on depth of interaction for location correction显示文摘Purpose Coded aperture imaging was a widely used imaging method for radiation sources.However,the traditional gamma camera based on two-dimensional projection information for coded aperture imaging ignored the influence of the interaction depth of particles and detectors on the projection information,which reduced the imaging quality of the camera to some extent.Therefore,a method of correcting the coded gamma camera based on the interaction depth of particles and detectors is proposed to improve the location accuracy of detectors.Methods The camera developed in this work uses a 7×7 YSO crystal array coupled with two 7×7 Si-PM arrays.The crystal is evenly divided into 11 parts in the depth direction,with a voxel size of 3×3×3 mm3.The coded mask is a 13×13 array,which is a mosaic of two cycles of 7×7 modified uniformly redundant array mask.The depth resolution of the detector is obtained via the subsurface laser engraving dual-end readout method.After obtaining the three-dimensional position information of the interaction point the projection information obtained by the detector is layered,and the image is reconstructed.According to the spatial position information of the detector and the coded mask,the corresponding field of view of each layer of the detector is calculated,and the reconstructed image of each layer is amplified and superimposed according to the ratio of the field of view to obtain the reconstructed image combined with the depth information.Results and conclusion According to Monte Carlo simulation and radiation source imaging experiment results,this method can effectively improve the positioning ability of the detector.For the experimental scenario mentioned in the paper,the location accuracy can be improved by up to 1.54°.Yiding Han Xiaopan Jiang Haohui Tang Xiuzuo Liang Xuanhou Hu Xianchao Huang Zhiming Zhang Lei Shuai Jing Guo Long Wei 2023Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,4:0
3An efficient method and system for simultaneously measuring the performance of vast scintillating materials显示文摘A method and system for automatically and simultaneously measuring the light output of multiple scintillators,or each scintillating unit of an array,were developed.Using a large area flat panel PSPMT H8500,the light output and energy resolution were obtained automatically by comparing with reference scintillators or array using an Energy Table,Look-up Table and energy spectrum data.The aim of developing an efficient performance evaluation of scintillators was achieved.Using the method,a scintillator performance testing system was set up and six LYSO crystals and a 3×3 LYSO array were measured.The results showed that the light output and energy resolution were accurately measured automatically.The deviation of repeat measurements for the same sample was not more than 2%,and the nonlinear deviation of the system was not more than 3%.The system is suitable for measuring the performance of crystals,especially where the mass measurement of crystals and arrays is required.CHEN Yan ZHANG Zhiming LI Daowu SHUAI Lei HUANG Xianchao TANG Haohui LI Ting ZHUANG Kai WANG yingjie LIU Yantao ZHANG Yiwen CHAI Pei LIU Shuangquan ZHU Meiling WANG Baoyi WEI Long 2012Nuclear Science and Techniques2012,23,3:0
4Qualitative analysis of the CCEBC/EEAC method显示文摘The CCEBC/EEAC method is an effective method in the quantitative analysis of power system transient stability. This paper provides a qualitative analysis of the CCEBC/EEAC method and shows that from a geometrical point of view, the CCCOI-RM transformation used in the CCEBC/EEAC method can be regarded as a projection of the variables of the system model on a weighted vector space, from which a generalized(-P)-(-δ) trajectory is obtained. Since a transient process of power systems can be approximately regarded as a time-piecewise simple Hamiltonian system, in order to qualitatively analyse the CCEBC/EEAC method, this paper compares the potential energy of a two-machine infinite bus system with its CCEBC/EEAC energy. Numerical result indicates their similarity. Clarifying the qualitative relation between these two kinds of energies is significant in verifying mathematically the CCEBC/EEAC method for judging the criterion of power system transient stability. 5Simulation research on time resolution based on Cherenkov radiation显示文摘Purpose A faster time performance can be achieved by focusing on prompt emitted photons,such as Cherenkov photons.In this study,the time fluctuations of Cherenkov photons transmission in the three Cherenkov radiators were first simulated,and we evaluated the detector performance and discussed ways to improve the coincidence time resolution(CTR)results for the detector with the three radiators.Finally,we compared detection efficiency of Cherenkov radiation in three radiators.Methods In this work,we recorded the step-by-step information of Cherenkov photons and the electrons that produced them in the radiator,information of photons on the photon outputting surface,and the step-by-step information tracing of the par-ent charged particles(electrons)to evaluate the factors influencing the performance time of the detector based on Geant4.Specially,we usually use a photon amplitude timing in the experimental implements,and the arrival time of an event is defined as the arrival time of the first photon of the event accordingly.Results The time fluctuations of Cherenkov photons transmission in the three Cherenkov radiators with a 5 mm length were simulated as 28.5 ps for PbF,40.1 ps for PbWO_(4),and 24.7 ps for Al_(2)O_(3).After considering other factors such as quantum efficiency(QE)of 30%and transit time spread(TTS)of 10 ps from the process of practical electronics,the CTR of a pair of single-pixel detectors were 56.6 ps for PbF_(2),78.8 ps for PbWO_(4),and 46.3 ps for Al_(2)O_(3) with a thickness of 5 mm.The detection efficiency of PbF_(2) is 32.25%,PbWO_(4) of 31.91%and Al_(2)O_(3) of 8.14%in the case of 5 mm length.Conclusions The simulation results indicated that using the Cherenkov photons produced in PbF_(2),PbWO_(4),Al_(2)O_(3) for detec-tor timing can obtain good CTR results.In this study,it demonstrates that it is possible to achieve a pretty good CTR with an improved QE and a reduced TTS of the photodetector.Xiaorou Han Long Wei Xianchao Huang Haohui Tang Yingjie Wang Wen He Daowu Li Zhiming Zhang 2021Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,3:0
6Design of a high-sampling-rate electronic module for array-detector positron annihilation lifetime measurements显示文摘Introduction In this study,a high-time-resolution electronic module with a high channel density and low power consumption was designed for the measurement of the multi-detector array positron annihilation lifetimes.This electronic module consisted of 32 input channels,and each channel provided a high sampling rate up to 5.12 GSPS based on a Domino Ring Sampler 4(DRS4)chip.Compared to the high-speed flash analog-digital converter(FADC),DRS4 chip has a higher channel density with an affordable lower price and power consumption.Methods The developed electronic module was also capable of real-time data analysis for directly extracting the time information of input signals at the data acquisition site,thereby significantly decreasing the data rate.The digital constant fraction discriminator(DCFD)algorithm was implemented in the field programmable gate array(FPGA)for performing the time pick-up.Results The coincidence time resolution of the electronic module was measured,and the test results revealed a value of 26 ps.A prototypical 16-pixel detector module of the multi-detector system was evaluated using this electronic module,and the coincidence time resolution of the prototypical module was 411.84 ps.Conclusions The electronic module was confirmed to satisfy the severe requirements of the multi-array-detector positron annihilation lifetime measurement system.It was also suitable for other high-time-resolution,high-channel-density,costeffective,and low-power-consumption applications.Jiale Cai Daowu Li Yingjie Wang Zhiming Zhang Peilin Wang Haohui Tang Baoyi Wang Xingzhong Cao Fuyan Liu Long Wei 2019Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3:0
