2Critical appraisal of laparoscopic vs open rectal cancer surgery显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the long-term clinical and oncological outcomes of laparoscopic rectal resection(LRR) and the impact of conversion in patients with rectal cancer.METHODS:An analysis was performed on a prospective database of 633 consecutive patients with rectal cancer who underwent surgical resection.Patients were compared in three groups:Open surgery(OP),laparoscopic surgery,and converted laparoscopic surgery.Short-term outcomes,long-term outcomes,and survival analysis were compared.RESULTS:Among 633 patients studied,200 patients had successful laparoscopic resections with a conversion rate of 11.1%(25 out of 225).Factors predictive of survival on univariate analysis include the laparoscopic approach(P = 0.016),together with factors such as age,ASA status,stage of disease,tumor grade,presence of perineural invasion and vascular emboli,circumferential resection margin < 2 mm,and postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy.The survival benefit of laparoscopic surgery was no longer significant on multivariateanalysis(P = 0.148).Neither 5-year overall survival(70.5% vs 61.8%,P = 0.217) nor 5-year cancer free survival(64.3% vs 66.6%,P = 0.854) were significantly different between the laparoscopic group and the converted group.CONCLUSION:LRR has equivalent long-term oncologic out c ome s w he n c ompare d t o OP.Laparos c opic conversion does not confer a worse prognosis.Winson Jianhong Tan Min Hoe Chew Angela Renayanti Dharmawan Manraj Singh Sanchalika Acharyya Carol Tien Tau Loi Choong Leong Tang 2016World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery2016,8,6:3
3Isolation of protein from Chlorella sorokiniana CY1 using liquid biphasic flotation assisted with sonication through sugaring-out effect显示文摘Microalgae,a sustainable source of multi beneficial components has been discovered and could be utilised in pharmaceutical,bioenergy and food applications.This study aims to investigate the sugaring-out effect on the recovery of protein from wet green microalga,Chlorella sorokiniana CY1 which was assisted with sonication.A comparison of monosaccharides and disaccharides as one of the phaseforming constituents shows that the monosaccharides,glucose was the most suitable sugar in forming the phases with acetonitrile to enhance the production of protein(52% of protein).The protein productivity of microalgae was found to be significantly influenced by the volume ratio of both phases,as the yield of protein increased to 77%.The interval time between the sonication as well as the sonication modes were influencing the protein productivity as well.The optimum protein productivity was obtained with 10s of resting time in between sonication.Pulse mode of sonication was suitable to break down the cell wall of microalgae compared to continuous mode as a lower protein yield was obtained with the application of continuous mode.The optimum condition for protein extraction were found as followed:200g/L glucose as bottom phase with volume ratio of 1:1.25,10s of resting time for ultrasonication,5s of ultrasonication in pulse mode and 0.25g of biomass weight.The high yield of protein about 81% could be obtained from microalgae which demonstrates the potential of this source and expected to play an important role in the future.CHIA Shir Reen CHEW Kit Wayne SHOW Pau Loke SIVAKUMAR Manickam LING Tau Chuan TAO Yang 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3:2

5利用微卫星DNA标记分析巴布亚新几内亚三个地方鸡群体的遗传多样性及亲缘关系显示文摘为了解巴布亚新几内亚地方鸡群体的遗传多样性和亲缘关系,本研究利用20个微卫星DNA遗传标记,对3个群体、96个个体的基因型进行了测定,估算了群体内的杂合度和近交系数(FIS)以及群体间的遗传分化系数(FST)等多样性参数;根据Nei氏标准遗传距离,构建群体水平的NJ树和个体水平上的无根UPGMA树。结果表明,3个群体内的平均期望(基因)杂合度介于0.665 9至0.680 6,平均FIS介于0.020至0.286,总群体水平上的遗传变异仅占5.5%;3个群体相互之间的遗传分化均达到显著水平,在个体水平的无根UPGMA树上,来源同一群体的个体会优先聚为一类。这说明巴布亚新几内亚的3个地方鸡群体的遗传多样性比较丰富,群体间的遗传分化显著,应该分别加以保护和利用。曾盛诚 Gariba Danbaro William Nano Sammy Doka Tau Gerega Olivier Hanotte 韩建林 2010畜牧兽医学报2010,41,7:2

20An Institutional Model for Collaborative Disaster Risk Management in the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Region显示文摘This article presents and argues for a collaborative model for disaster risk management in the Southern African Development Community(SADC).The research employed a qualitative study through a literature review and empirical research through focus group interviews to realize its objectives.As a key theory of multinational collaboration,neoliberal institutionalism—a subset of the international relations theory—was used to develop the SADC institutional collaborative model.The model combined the theoretical,political,and technical dimensions of collaboration to enhance buy-in for the disaster risk management and reduction function of governments.The model demonstrates the need for a multidisciplinary approach to achieving disaster risk management and reduction in the SADC and elsewhere,if the developmental objectives of disaster risk reduction are to be realized without interference in the domestic affairs of the member countries.This model is therefore grounded in seeking consensus and cooperation among cooperating states in a quest to ensure national implementation of the regional framework on disaster risk reduction.Mmaphaka Tau Dewald van Niekerk Per Becker 2016International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2016,7,4:1
