3A new skeleton based flying bird detection method for low-altitude air traffic management显示文摘In low-altitude air traffic management, non-cooperation targets are the greatest threat to security of low-flying aircraft. Among various aviation fatalities, flying bird is the main factor with the highest risk and directs economic losses amounted to nearly 10 billion US dollars each year.Therefore, Flying Bird Detection(FBD) has attracted considerable attention in low-altitude air traffic management. In this paper, we propose a skeleton based FBD method via describing bird motion information with a set of key poses. To overcome the variability of birds, the skeleton feature is selected as a relatively fixed and common characteristic for the pose appearance of flying bird. Based on the geometric topology among some key parts of bird body, a set of key poses can be described by some extracted skeleton features, which are used to represent the bird motion information. Aimed at robustly handling with the pose variations, multiple pose-specific classifiers are individually trained to learn the representative poses of the flying bird. At the detection stage,the flying bird skeleton features are combined with extracted key-pose sets to perform the flying bird classification task from each image. Afterwards, the key-frame pose-change set and the consistency of the classification results from sequent images are employed to validate the final detection results.Experiments on flying bird datasets demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.Tianhang WU Xiaoyan LUO Qunyu XU 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,11:1
4Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase 1 dephosphorylates IκBα and suppresses colorectal tumorigenesis显示文摘Emerging evidence demonstrates that some metabolic enzymes that phosphorylate soluble metabolites can also phosphorylate a variety of protein substrates as protein kinases to regulate cell cycle,apoptosis and many other fundamental cellular processes.However,whether a metabolic enzyme dephosphorylates protein as a protein phosphatase remains unknown.Here we reveal the gluconeogenic enzyme fructose 1,6-biphosphatase 1(FBP1)that catalyzes the hydrolysis of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate(F-1,6-BP)to fructose 6-phosphate(F-6-P)as a protein phosphatase by performing a high-throughput screening of metabolic phosphatases with molecular docking followed by molecular dynamics(MD)simulations.Moreover,we identify IκBαas the substrate of FBP1-mediated dephosphorylation by performing phosphoproteomic analysis.Mechanistically,FBP1 directly interacts with and dephosphorylates the serine(S)32/36 of IκBαupon TNFαstimulation,thereby inhibiting NF-κB activation.MD simulations indicate that the catalytic mechanism of FBP1-mediated IκBαdephosphorylation is similar to F-1,6-BP dephosphorylation,except for higher energetic barriers for IκBαdephosphorylation.Functionally,FBP1-dependent NF-κB inactivation suppresses colorectal tumorigenesis by sensitizing tumor cells to inflammatory stresses and preventing the mobilization of myeloid-derived suppressor cells.Our finding reveals a previously unrecognized role of FBP1 as a protein phosphatase and establishes the critical role of FBP1-mediated IκBαdephosphorylation in colorectal tumorigenesis.Wencheng Zhu Huiying Chu Yajuan Zhang Tianhang Luo Hua Yu Hongwen Zhu Ye Liu Hong Gao Yun Zhao Quanlin Li Xiongjun Wang Guohui Li Weiwei Yang 2023Cell Research2023,33,3:0
5Direct current remote cloak for arbitrary objects显示文摘Hiding an arbitrary object with a cloak at a distance from an object is of great significance in scientific research,but remains unrealized as a practical device.In this paper,we propose the first experimental realization of a remote cloaking device that makes any object located at a certain distance invisible at direct current(DC)frequency.A negative resistor network with active elements is used to achieve the remote function of the DC cloak.Based on this network,the cloak can remotely generate a hidden region without distorting the currents far from the cloaked region.The experimental results show that any object in the hidden region is invisible to a DC detector.Our cloak does not require any knowledge of the hidden object.The experimental demonstration shows the superiority of this remote cloaking device,which may find potential applications in medical or geologic research.Tianhang Chen Bin Zheng Yihao Yang Lian Shen Zuojia Wang Fei Gao Erping Li Yu Luo Tie Jun Cui Hongsheng Chen 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:0
