| 1 | Photocatalytic properties of BiOX (X = Cl, Br, and Ⅰ)显示文摘A novel series of photocatalysts,bismuth oxyhalide(BiOX,X =Cl,Br,and I),were synthesized by a hydrolysis method.The powder sam- pies were characterized by the use of X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope,and UV-Vis spectrophotometer.The XRD pattern showed that all the BiOX were well crystallized in the tetragonal structure.The band gaps of the sheet-shaped compounds BiOX(X= Cl,Br,and I)were 3.44,2.76,and 1.85 eV,respectively.BiOBr showed the highest photocatalytic activity in degrading rhodamine B(RhB) and evolving O_2 for its proper valence band(VB).BiOI has no photocatalytic activity.BiOCl showed the highest activity in decomposing isopropanol because of electron-hole pair separation through trapping electrons by oxygen vacancies. | AN Huizhong DU Yi WANG Tianmin WANG Cong HAO Weichang ZHANG Junying | 2008 | Rare Metals2008,27,3: | 43 |
| 2 | Influence of groove surface texture on temperature rise under dry sliding friction显示文摘Parallel groove surface textures with different area densities were fabricated on ASTM 1045 steel. Friction tests were conducted under dry sliding condition. Temperature rise, friction coefficient and wear of both the textured and untextured specimens were studied. An embedded K-type thermocouple beneath the friction surfaces was employed to measure frictional temperature rise. The results indicated that the temperature rise of the textured specimen was obviously reduced compared with that of the untextured specimen, although the difference between the friction coefficients was not significant. The specimen with high texture density exhibited a small temperature rise. The difference in temperature rise between the specimens with different texture densities can be primarily attributed to differences in heat dissipation and energy allocation between the tribo-pairs caused by the textured structure. | 4 | Paleotopographic controls on modern gully evolution in the loess landforms of China显示文摘The inhomogeneous and non-flat paleotopography in a depositional landform area profoundly controls the process of modern gully evolution and shapes the structure of a gully network.However,this controlling effect of paleotopography on modern gully evolution is mostly ignored because of the difficulties in paleotopography reconstruction.In this study,loess area in China is selected as case area for its typical depositional landform area and inhomogeneous and non-flat paleotopography during the Quaternary.The paleotopography underlying loess is considered while evaluating its controlling effects on the gully evolutionary process.On the basis of the geophysical prospecting,detailed geological information,and high-resolution digital elevation model,we reconstruct the pre-Quaternary paleotopographic surface in the case area.Comparative analysis is conducted to reveal the modern gully evolution in relation to the paleotopography.Results show that the concave area of the paleotopography acts as the basement of the high-order modern gully evolution in the hilly-gully area,although this concave area can be covered and buried by the loess depositional process during the Quaternary.A significant controlling effect of paleotopography on high-order modern gully evolution can be observed in a depositional landform with a hilly-gully underlying topography,whereas a relatively weak controlling effect exists in a flat underlying topographical area because of the strong horizontal shift effect of gully formation process.Several low-order modern gullies also exist and limit the controlling effect of paleotopography.These results reveal a controlled high-order modern gully evolutionary process and a rather dynamic low-order modern gully evolutionary process in the hilly-gully area.These results also help us understand the variations in different modern gully evolution in relation to paleotopography and the different management schemes for soil conservation and ecological restoration during the gully evolutionary process. | XIONG LiYang TANG GuoAn ZHU A-Xing YUAN BaoYin LU BinYing DANG TianMin | 2017 | Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,3: | 11 |
| 5 | Microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti Al Si N nano-composite coatings deposited by ion beam assisted deposition显示文摘TiAlSiN nano-composite coatings with Silicon contents from 4.1 to 23.9 at.% were deposited on Silicon wafers. The nanohardness, microstructure, and adhesion force of the coatings were deeply affected by Silicon contents. The TiAlSiN with 9.0 at.% Silicon has a maximum hardness of 40.9 GPa, a highest adhesion force of 67 N and a lowest friction coefficient of 0.5. Microstructures show that Silicon doping increases the hardness of coating due to solid solution hardening effect and grain boundary enhancement effect. The amorphous Si3N4 matrix, which contains(Ti,Al)N nano-crystals, is formed as the Silicon content is increased. The matrix contributes to the nano-hardness and helps to resist surface oxidization. | 6 | Effect of electro-acupuncture combined with psychological intervention on mental symptoms and P50 of auditory evoked potential in patients with internet addiction disorder显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the therapeutic effects of electro-acupuncture(EA) combined with psychological intervention on the symptom of somzatization or obsession and mental symptom of depression or anxiety and P50 of Auditory Evoked Potential(AEP) on internet addiction disorder(IAD).METHODS: One hundred and twenty cases of IAD were randomly divided into an EA group, a psycho-intervention(PI) group and a comprehensive therapy(EA plus PI) group. Patients in the EA group were treated with EA. Patients in the PI group were treated with cognition and behavior therapy. Patients in the EA plus PI group were treated with electro-acupuncture plus psychological intervention. Scores of IAD, scores of the symptom checklist90(SCL-90), latency and amplitude of P50 of AEP were measured before and after treatment.RESULTS: The scores of IAD after treatment significantly decreased in all groups(P < 0.05), and thescores of IAD in the EA plus PI group were significantly lower than those in the other two groups(P < 0.05). The scores of SCL-90 assembled and each factor after treatment in the EA plus PI group significantly decreased(P < 0.05). | 7 | Physiological traits contributed to the recent increase in yield potential of winter wheat from Henan Province, China显示文摘This experiment aims to test the traits responsible for the increase in yield potential of winter wheat released in Henan Province, China. Seven established cultivars released in the last 20 years and three advanced lines were assayed. The results showed that grain yield was positively correlated with harvest index(HI), kernel number per square meter, and aboveground biomass. In addition, the HI and aboveground biomass showed an increasing trend with the year of release.Therefore, we can conclude that bread wheat breeding advances during recent decades in Henan Province, China,have been achieved through an increase in HI, kernel number per square meter, and aboveground biomass. A higher d13C seems also to be involved in these advances, which suggests a progressive improvement in constitutive water use efficiency not associated with a trend towards lower stomatal conductance in the most recent genotypes. However, genetic advance Researchdoes not appear related to changes in photosynthesis rates on area basis when measured in the flag leaf or the spike,but only to a higher, whole‐spike photosynthesis. | 8 | X-box-binding protein 1-modified neural stem cells for treatment of Parkinson's disease显示文摘X-box-binding protein 1-transfected neural stem cells were transplanted into the right lateral ventricles of rats with rotenone-induced Parkinson's disease. The survival capacities and differentiation rates of cells expressing the dopaminergic marker tyrosine hydroxylase were higher in X-box-binding protein 1-transfected neural stem cells compared to non-transfected cells. Moreover, dopamine and 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid levels in the substantia nigra were significantly increased, α-synuclein expression was decreased, and neurological behaviors were significantly ameliorated in rats following transplantation of X-box-binding protein 1-transfected neural stem cells. | 9 | First-principles investigation of the effects of B impurities on the mechanical properties of NiAl intermetallics显示文摘We have investigated the effects of B impurities on the structure and mechanical properties of NiAl intermetallics by using a first-principles pseudopotential total-energy method, based on the density functional theory with a generalized gradient approximation. We found that the impurity B atoms can either replace Ni atoms or Al atoms or both, depending on the surrounding environment. We demonstrated that the presence of B will cause an increase in brittleness and a decrease in the ductility of NiAl for the Al-substitutional case, while causing an increase in the ductility of NiAl for the Ni-subtitutional case, based on the calculated elastic constants and the empirical criterions. In this paper, iodide ions are introduced to modify bismuth-based compound, Bi_(24)O_(31)Br_(10), forming a Bi_(24)O_(31)Br_(10)/BiOI heterojunction structure. A significant enhancement of photocatalytic activity compared to the parent compounds is observed in de-coloration of rhodamine B(Rh.B) solution.
