1Efficacy and safety of Xinfeng capsule in patients with rheumatoid arthritis:a multi-center parallel-group double-blind randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Xinfeng capsule in patients suffering rheumatoid arthritis(RA).METHODS:A multi-center parallel-group designed,double-blind,randomized,controlled trial was conducted.Totally 304 RA patients were assigned to two groups:one group was administered Xinfeng capsule(XFC) plus the placebo of leflunomide and the other given leflunomide(LEF) plus the placebo of XFC for twelve weeks.The clinical and laboratory parameters were compared at baseline and fourth,eighth,and twelfth weeks.RESULTS:After twelve-week treatment,patients in two groups all showed some trend of effectiveness when compared in terms of American Rheumatism Association(ACR) recommended 20%,50%,70%improvement criteria,but it was insignificant.The validity in ameliorate modified disease activity score(DAS28) and laboratory indexes as erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),rheumatoid factor(RF) were also found no difference.The score of health assessment questionnaire(HAQ),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS) and quality of life questionnaire with rheumatoid arthritis(RAQOL)both lower than the first week and the changes showed no difference.However,the score of SDS dropped more in XFC group than in the other.A total of 147 adverse reaction cases were reported,which shows no difference between the two groups.The most common adverse reactions were hepatic impairment,anemia,leukocytopenia,epigastric discomfort and phalacrosis.CONCLUSION:XFC demonstrated better improvement in the scores of SDS and compared with those of LEF group.Liu Jian Wang Yuan Huang Chuanbing Xu Jianhua Li Zhijun Xu Liang He Liyun Sun Yue Wang Yali Xu Shengqian Zhao Ping Mao Tongjun Tan Bin Zhu Fubing Zhang Pingheng Fang Li 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5:27
2Redundant CAMTA Transcription Factors Negatively Regulate the Biosynthesis of Salicylic Acid and N-Hydroxypipecolic Acid by Modulating the Expression of SARD1 and CBP60g显示文摘Two signal molecules, salicylic acid (SA) and N-hydroxypipecolic acid (NHP), play critical roles in plant immunity. The biosynthetic genes of both compounds are positively regulated by master immune-regulating transcription factors SARD1 and CBP60g. However, the relationship between the SA and NHP pathways is unclear. CALMODULIN-BINDING TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR 1 (CAMTA1), CAMTA2, and CAMTA3 are known redundant negative regulators of plant immunity, but the underlying mechanism also remains largely unknown. In this study, through chromatin immunoprecipitation and electrophoretic mobility shift assays, we uncovered that CBP60g is a direct target of CAMTA3, which also negatively regulates the expression of SARD1, presumably via an indirect effect. The autoimmunity of camta3-1 is suppressed by sard1 cbp60g double mutant as well as ald1 and fmo1, two single mutants defective in NHP biosynthesis. Interestingly, a suppressor screen conducted in the camta1/ 2/ 3 triple mutant background yielded various mutants blocking biosynthesis or signaling of either SA or NHP, leading to nearly complete suppression of the extreme autoimmunity of camta1/ 2/ 3, suggesting that the SA and NHP pathways can mutually amplify each other. 4Negative regulation of resistance protein-mediated immunity by master transcription factors SARD_1 and CBP60g显示文摘Salicylic acid(SA) is an essential defence hormone in plants. Upon pathogen infection, induced biosynthesis of SA is mediated by Isochorismate synthase 1(ICS1), whose gene transcription is controlled mainly through two redundant transcription factors, SAR Deficient 1(SARD_1) and Calmodulinbinding protein 60-like g(CBP60g). Although these master transcription factors regulate not only positive,but also negative regulators of immunity, how they control signaling events downstream of different immune receptors is unclear. Using autoimmune mutants activating immunity mediated by different receptors we show that, although the sard1 cbp60 g double mutant almost fully suppresses the activation of defence mediated by suppressor of npr1-1, constitutive 2(snc2), it strikingly enhances snc1, which carries a gain-of-function mutation in an intracellular nucleotidebinding leucine-rich repeat(NLR) immune receptor.This negative regulation of immunity is achieved through the transcriptional regulation of negative regulators, such as Nudix hydrolase homolog 6(NUDT6). 14Phase reaction of Au/Sn solder bonding for GaN-based vertical structure light emitting diodes显示文摘Au/Sn solder bonding on Si substrates was used to fabricate the GaN-based vertical structure light emitting diodes (VSLEDs). The phase reaction of Au/Sn solder under different bonding conditions was investigated by the measurement of electron back scattering diffraction (EBSD), and the characteristics of VSLED were analyzed by scanning acoustic microscope (SAM), Raman scattering, current-voltage (I-V) and light output-current (L-I) curves. After the bonding process, horizontal stripes of Au/Sn phase (δ phase) and Au5Sn phase (ζ phase) were redirected to vertical stripes, and δ phase tended to move to the solder joint. Sn interstitial diffusion led to the distribution of δ phase and voids in Au/Sn solder, which could be seen in SAM and SEM images. Vertical distribution of the δ phase and ζ phase with proper voids in the Au/Sn bonding layer showed the best bonding quality. Good bonding quality led to little shift of the E2-high mode of Raman spectra peak in GaN after laser lift off (LLO). 15Batch synthesis of transfer-free graphene with wafer-scale uniformity显示文摘Scalable synthesis of transfer-free graphene over insulators offers exciting opportunity for next-generation electronics and optoelectronics.However,rational design of synthetic protocols to harvest wafer-scale production of directly grown graphene still remains a daunting challenge.Herein we explore a batch synthesis of large-area graphene with wafer-scale uniformity by virtue of direct chemical vapor deposition(CVD)on quartz.Such a controllable CVD approach allows to synthesize 30 pieces of 4-inch graphene wafers in one batch,affording a low fluctuation of optical and electrical properties.Computational fluid dynamics simulations reveal the mechanism of uniform growth,indicating thermal field and confined flow field play leading roles in attaining the batch uniformity.The resulting wafer-scale graphene enables the direct utilization as key components in optical elements.Our method is applicable to other types of insulating substrates(e.g.,sapphire,SiO2/Si,Si3N4),which may open a new avenue for direct manufacture of graphene wafers in an economic fashion.Bei Jiang Qiyue Zhao Zhepeng Zhang Bingzhi Liu Jingyuan Shan Liang Zhao Mark H.Rümmeli Xuan Gao Yanfeng Zhang Tongjun Yu Jingyu Sun Zhongfan Liu 2020Nano Research2020,13,6:0
