1DBPM signal processing with field programmable gate arrays显示文摘DBPM system performance is determined by the design and implementation of beam position signal processing algorithm.In order to develop the system,a beam position signal processing algorithm is implemented on FPGA.The hardware is a PMC board ICS-1554A-002(GE Corp.)with FPGA chip XC5VSX95T.This paper adopts quadrature frequency mixing to down convert high frequency signal to base.Different from conventional method,the mixing is implemented by CORDIC algorithm.The algorithm theory and implementation details are discussed in this paper.As the board contains no front end gain controller,this paper introduces a published patent-pending technique that has been adopted to realize the function in digital logic.The whole design is implemented with VHDL language. 2Design and measurement of signal processing system for cavity beam position monitor显示文摘In this paper,in order to achieve the output signal processing of cavity beam position monitor(CBPM),we develop a digital intermediate frequency receiver architecture based signal processing system,which consists of radio frequency(RF) front end and high speed data acquisition board.The beam position resolution in the CBPM signal processing system is superior to 1μm.Two signal processing algorithms,fast Fourier transform(FFT) and digital down converter(DDC),are evaluated offline using MATLAB platform,and both can be used to achieve,the CW input signal,position resolutions of 0.31μm and 0.10μm at -16 dBm.The DDC algorithm for its good compatibility is downloaded into the FPGA to realize online measurement,reaching the position resolution of 0.49μm due to truncation error.The whole system works well and the performance meets design target.WANG Baopeng LENG Yongbin YU Luyang ZHOU Weimin YUAN Renxian CHEN Zhichu 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,2:3
3Turbulent combustion modeling using a flamelet generated manifold approach——a validation study in Open FOAM显示文摘An OpenFOAM based turbulence combustion solver with flamelet generated manifolds (FGMs) is presented in this paper. A series of flamelets, representative for turbulent flames, are calculated first by a one-dimensional (1D) detailed chemistry solver with the consideration of both transport and stretch/curvature contributions. The flame structure is then parameterized as a function of multiple reaction control variables. A manifold, which collects the 1D flame properties, is built from the 1D flame solutions. The control variables of the mixture fraction and the progress variable are solved from the corresponding transport equations. During the calculation, the scalar variables, e.g., temperature and species concentration, are retrieved from the manifolds by interpolation. A transport equation for NO is solved to improve its prediction accuracy. To verify the ability to deal with the enthalpy loss effect, the temperature retrieved directly from the manifolds is compared with the temperature solved from a transport equation of absolute enthalpy. The resulting FGM-computational fluid dynamics (CFD) coupled code has three significant features, i.e., accurate NO prediction, the ability to treat the heat loss effect and the adoption at the turbulence level, and high quality prediction within practical industrial configurations. 4Research on Dinoasur Footprints in Zizhou, Shaanxi Province, China显示文摘In recent years,the discoveries of dinosaur footprints have been successively reported from Dianshi Town,Zizhou City,Shaanxi Province.The footprints include the tracks of theropod,ornithopod and sauropod as well.Actually,the dinosaur footprints were found by local inhabitants much earlier in history,but not for science.The slabs bearing the dinosaur footprints were collected for domestic use,such as building stones,millstones,cellar covers,sheepfold fences,windlass holders,etc.This paper is to describe the dinosaur footprints on both sides of three slabs used for cellar covers,sheepfold fences and windlass holders by the local people.24 dinosaur footprints and 4 trackways have been recognized and all of them belong to theropod.Four kinds of dinosaur footprints are identified,including 1 new ichnogenus and 2 new ichnospecies:(1)Shanbeipus caudatus ichnogen.et ichnosp.nov.;(2)Pengxianpus yulinensis ichnosp.nov.;(3)Eubrontes ichnosp;(4)Kayentapus ichnosp.Dinosaur-footprint-bearing beds were initially identified as the Fuxian Formation of the Lower Jurassic.Multipal dinosaur footprints associated with fragment plant fossils suggest a humid fluviolacustrine environment setting in the Ordos Basin during the early period of the Jurassic.WANG Baopeng LI Jianjun BAI Zhiqiang GAO Junmin DONG Shurong HU Bailin ZHAO Suiqin CHANG Jieqiong 2016Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,1:2
5The efficacy of chemical topping in field-grown cotton is mediated by drip irrigation amount in irrigated agricultural area显示文摘Background:Cotton production in China is challenged by high labor input including manual topping(MT).Recently,to replace MT in the Xinjiang cotton region of China,mepiquat chloride(MC)was applied once more than the traditional multiple-application;this was designated as chemical topping(CT),but it is unclear whether the amount of irrigation needs to be adjusted to accommodate CT.Results:The main plots were assigned to three drip irrigation amounts[300(I_(1))480(I_(2)), and 660(I_(3))mm],and the subplots were assigned to the CT treatments[450(MC)750(MC_(2)),and 1050(MC_(3))mL·hm^(-2)25%MC]with MT as a control that was performed after early bloom.The optimum drip irrigation amount for CT was explored based on leaf photosynthesis,chlorophyll fluorescence,biomass accumulation,and yield.There were significant influe nces of drip irrigation,topping treatme nts and their interaction on chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics,gas exchange parameters and biomass accumulation characteristics as well as yield.The combination of I_(2) and MC_(2)(I_(2)MC_(2))performed best.Compared with I_(2)MC_(2)the net photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomatai conductance(Gs),transpiration rate(Tr),and photochemical quenching coefficient(qP)of I_(2)MC_(2)significantly increased by 4.0%~7.2%,6.8%〜17.1%,5.2%~17.6%,and 4.8%~9.6%,respectively,from the peak flowering to boll opening stages.Moreover,I_(2)MC_(2) showed fast reproductive organ biomass accumulation and the highest seed cotton yield;the latter was 6.6%~12.8%higher than that of I_(2)MT.Further analysis revealed that a 25%MC emulsion in water(MCEW)application resulted in yield improvement by increasing Pn,φPSⅡ,and qP to promote biomass accumulation and transport to reproductive organs.Conclusion:The results showed that the 480 mm drip irrigation combined with 750 mL·hm^(-2)MC increased the rate of dry matter accumulation in reproductive organs by increasing Pn,φPSⅡ and qP to improve photosynthetic performance,thus achieving higher yield.TIAN Yu LIAO Baopeng HAN Huanyong WANG Fangyong DU Mingwei TIAN Xiaoli LI Zhaohu 2022Journal of Cotton Research2022,5,2:1

8Bavachin induces apoptosis in colorectal cancer cells through Gadd45a via the MAPK signaling pathway显示文摘Bavachin is a dihydroflavonoid compound isolated from Psoralea corylifolia,and exhibits anti-bacterial,anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor and lipid-lowering activities.Recent attention has gradually drawn on bavachin-induced apoptosis in many human cancer cell lines.However,the anti-cancer effects and related mechanisms in colorectal cancer remain unknown.Here,we investigated the effects of bavachin on colorectal cancer in vivo and in vitro.The results showed that bavachin inhibited the proliferation of human colorectal cancer cells and induce apoptosis.These changes were mediated by activating the MAPK signaling pathway,which significantly up-regulated the expression of Gadd45a.Furthermore,Gadd45a silencing obviously attenuated bavachin-mediated cell apoptosis.Inhibition of the MAPK signaling pathway by JNK/ERK/p38 inhibitors also weakened the up-regulation of Gadd45a by bavachin.The anticancer effect of bavachin was also validated using a mouse xenograft model of human colorectal cancer.In conclusion,these findings suggest that bavachin induces the apoptosis of colorectal cancer cells through activating the MAPK signaling pathway.WANG Mengru TIAN Baopeng SHEN Jie XU Shilin LIU Cong GUAN Ling GUO Min DOU Jie 2023Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,1:1
9Engineering d-band states of(CuGa)_(x)Zn_(1-2x)Ga_(2)S_(4)material for photocatalytic syngas production显示文摘The d-band states of catalytic materials participate in adsorbing reactive intermediate species and determine the catalytic behaviors in CO_(2)reduction reactions.However,surface d-band states relating to the photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction reactions behaviors are rarely concerned.Herein,a slightly amount of Cd^(2+)is decorated on the surface of(CuGa)_(x)Zn_(1-2x)Ga_(2)S_(4)material(Cd^(2+)/(CuGa)_(x)Zn_(1-2x)Ga_(2)S_(4))to tune the surface d-band states for improved CO_(2)+2reduction reactions.The Cd/(CuGa)_(x)Zn_(1-2x)Ga_(2)S_(4)is fabricated via the facile ions-exchange method to make that slightly Zn2+is substituted by Cd^(2+).The Cd^(2+)/(CuGa)_(x)Zn_(1-2x)Ga_(2)S_(4)exhibits much enhanced photocatalytic activity in CO_(2)reduction reactions to produce CO and water splitting to produce H_(2).Physical characterizations show that the energy band structure is not changed obviously.Density functional theory reveals that Cd^(2+)/(CuGa)_(x)Zn_(1-2x)Ga_(2)S_(4)possesses a closer shift of d-band center to Fermi level than(CuGa)_(x)Zn_(1-2x)Ga_(2)S_(4),suggesting easier adsorption of CO_(2)reduction reactive intermediates after Cd^(2+)decoration.Further calculations confirm that a relatively reduced adsorption Gibbs energy of reactive intermediates in CO_(2)reduction reaction is required on Zn atoms in Cd^(2+)/(CuGa)_(x)Zn_(1-2x)Ga_(2)S_(4)material,benefiting the photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction reactions.This work engineers surface d-band states by surface Cd^(2+)decoration,which gives an effective strategy to design highly efficient photocatalysts for syngas production.Peng Liu Baopeng Yang Ziyi Xiao Shengyao Wang Shimiao Wu Min Liu Gen Chen Xiaohe Liu Renzhi Ma Ning Zhang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0
