2Construction of Z-Scheme In_(2)S_(3)-TiO_(2) for CO_(2) Reduction under Concentrated Natural Sunlight显示文摘Producing chemical fuels from sunlight enables a sustainable way for energy consumption.Among various solar fuel generation approaches,photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction has the advantages of simple structure,mild reaction condition,directly reducing carbon emissions,etc.However,most of the current photocatalytic systems can only absorb the UV-visible spectrum of solar light.Therefore,finding a way to utilize infrared light in the photocatalytic system has attracted more and more attention.Here,a Z-scheme In_(2)S_(3)-TiO_(2) was constructed for CO_(2) reduction under concentrated natural sunlight.The infrared light was used to create a high-temperature environment for photocatalytic reactions.The evolution rates of H2,CO,and C2H5OH reached 262.2,73.9,and 27.56μmol・h^(-1)・g^(-1),respectively,with an overall solar to fuels efficiency of 0.002%.This work provides a composite photocatalyst towards the utilization of full solar light spectrum,and could promote the research on photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction.Ya Liu Fangbo Yu Feng Wang Shengjie Bai Guiwei He 2022Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry2022,41,1:2

4Porous fixed-bed photoreactor for boosting C-C coupling in photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction显示文摘Solar-driven CO_(2)conversion to chemical fuels in an aqueous solution is restricted not only by photocatalysts but also by mass transfer.Here,a regulatable three-phase interface on a porous fixed-bed is constructed for efficient C-C coupling in photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction.The photocatalytic results show that∼90%selectivity towards C^(2+)products is obtained by a Cu/Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S photocatalyst,with a yield of 6.54μmol/h(an irradiation area of 0.785 cm^(2)),while only 0.94μmol/h(an irradiation area of 19.625 cm^(2))is achieved with a commonly used suspension photocatalytic reactor.We find that under the same CO_(2)feed rate,the local CO_(2)concentration in this porous fixed-bed photoreactor is obviously higher than in the suspension photoreactor.The larger local CO_(2)coverage derived from a higher CO_(2)supply and aggregation enhances the C-C coupling,thereby generating more C^(2+).Even an observable three-phase interface on the porous fixed-bed can be regulated by adjusting the CO_(2)supply,for which the optimal gas inlet rate is 5-10 sccm.Shengjie Bai Haoran Qiu Mengmeng Song Guiwei He Feng Wang Liejin Guo 2022eScience2022,2,4:1

7UV irradiation induced conductivity improvement in poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) film显示文摘We describe a simple method to increase the conductivity of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)film by exposure to ultraviolet(UV)light in vacuum.Up to four order of conductivity improvement(from 10 3to 50 S/cm)is achieved by irradiating PEDOT:PSS film with 254 nm ultraviolet(UV)light.Increased conductivity in UV treated PEDOT:PSS film is stable under ambient exposure.The mechanism for conductivity improvement is investigated by current-voltage measurement,atomic force microscopy,and absorption spectrum.Photo-cross-linking of PSS chains is determined as the reason for conductivity improvement.Our result demonstrates that UV treatment is capable of modifying the conductivity of PEDOT:PSS film independent of the process of film formation.XING YingJie QIAN MinFang WANG GuiWei ZHANG GengMin GUO DengZhu WU JinLei 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,1:1
8Cloning and Expression Analysis of a Prion Protein Encoding Gene in Guppy (Poecilia reticulata)显示文摘The full length cDNA of a prion protein (PrP) encoding gene of guppy (Poecilia reticulata) and the corresponding ge-nomic DNA were cloned. The cDNA was 2245 bp in length and contained an open reading frame (ORF) of 1545 bp encoding a pro-tein of 515 amino acids,which held all typical structural characteristics of the functional PrP. The cloned genomic DNA fragment corresponding to the cDNA was 3720 bp in length,consisting of 2 introns and 2 exons. The 5’ untranslated region of cDNA origi-nated from the 2 exons,while the ORF originated from the second exon. Although the gene was transcribed in diverse tissues in-cluding brain,eye,liver,intestine,muscle and tail,its transcript was most abundant in the brain. 9Study on excitation force characteristics in a coupled shaker-structure system considering structure modes coupling显示文摘The interaction between an elastic structure and electrodynamic shakers commonly exists in Ground Flutter Simulation Tests(GFST)with multi-point excitations,causing a considerable discrepancy between the practical excitation forces and desired ones.To investigate the excitation force characteristics on a cantilever beam excited by a voltage-sourced electrodynamic shaker,the coupled shaker-beam system is modeled to derive the excitation force formula using Hamilton’s principle and Galerkin’s approach.Simulation results using the multi-mode beam model coupled with the shaker model are in good agreement with experimental results,verifying that the proposed multi-mode method can accurately predict the excitation force.Furthermore,parametric studies show that the influence of system parameters on the excitation force is related to the shaker’s operating mode.Unlike in current mode of shaker,when the beam resonant frequency approaches the suspension frequency of shaker armature,the variation of excitation force amplitude in voltage mode is no longer minimal.Meanwhile,if the exciting point in the GFST is located far away from the modal node,it is essential to compensate the force because the accuracy of tests can be reduced dramatically.The coupled shaker-beam model proposed in this paper can provide the basis for compensation measures.Guiwei ZHANG Xiaochen WANG Zhichun YANG 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,7:0
10Effects of Various Processing Parameters on Mechanical Properties and Biocompatibility of Fe-based Bulk Metallic Glass Processed via Selective Laser Melting at Constant Energy Density显示文摘The unique properties of bulk metallic glass(BMG)render it an excellent material for bone-implant applications.BMG samples are difficult to produce directly because of the critical cooling rate of molding.Advancements in additive manufacturing technologies,such as selective laser melting(SLM),have enabled the development of BMG.The successful production of materials via SLM relies significantly on the processing parameters;meanwhile,the overall energy density affects the crystallization and,thus,the final properties.Therefore,to further determine the effects of the processing parameters,SLM is performed in this study to print Fe-based BMG with different properties three dimensionally using selected processing parameters but a constant energy density.The printed amorphous Fe-based BMG outperforms the typical 316 L stainless steel(316 L SS)in terms of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.Moreover,observations from nanoindentation tests indicate that the hardness and elastic modulus of the Fe-based BMG can be customized explicitly by adjusting the SLM processing parameters.Indirect cytotoxicity results show that the Fe-based BMG can enhance the viability of SAOS2 cells,as compared with 316 L SS.These intriguing results show that Fe-based BMG should be investigated further for orthopedic implant applications.Niyou Wang Shuai Chang Guiwei Li S Thameem Dheen A Senthil Kumar Wenzheng Wu Qingping Liu Ji Zhao Luquan Ren Jerry Ying Hsi Fuh 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(Additive Manufacturing Frontiers)2022,1,3:0
