| 1 | On the loss mechanisms of radiation belt electron dropouts during the 12 September 2014 geomagnetic storm显示文摘Radiation belt electron dropouts indicate electron flux decay to the background level during geomagnetic storms,which is commonly attributed to the effects of wave-induced pitch angle scattering and magnetopause shadowing.To investigate the loss mechanisms of radiation belt electron dropouts triggered by a solar wind dynamic pressure pulse event on 12 September 2014,we comprehensively analyzed the particle and wave measurements from Van Allen Probes.The dropout event was divided into three periods:before the storm,the initial phase of the storm,and the main phase of the storm.The electron pitch angle distributions(PADs)and electron flux dropouts during the initial and main phases of this storm were investigated,and the evolution of the radial profile of electron phase space density(PSD)and the(μ,K)dependence of electron PSD dropouts(whereμ,K,and L^*are the three adiabatic invariants)were analyzed.The energy-independent decay of electrons at L>4.5 was accompanied by butterfly PADs,suggesting that the magnetopause shadowing process may be the major loss mechanism during the initial phase of the storm at L>4.5.The features of electron dropouts and 90°-peaked PADs were observed only for>1 MeV electrons at L<4,indicating that the wave-induced scattering effect may dominate the electron loss processes at the lower L-shell during the main phase of the storm.Evaluations of the(μ,K)dependence of electron PSD drops and calculations of the minimum electron resonant energies of H+-band electromagnetic ion cyclotron(EMIC)waves support the scenario that the observed PSD drop peaks around L^*=3.9 may be caused mainly by the scattering of EMIC waves,whereas the drop peaks around L^*=4.6 may result from a combination of EMIC wave scattering and outward radial diffusion. | Xin Ma Zheng Xiang BinBin Ni Song Fu Xing Cao Man Hua DeYu Guo YingJie Guo XuDong Gu ZeYuan Liu Qi Zhu | 2020 | Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,6: | 2 |

| 3 | Model construction of micro-pores in shale: A case study of Silurian Longmaxi Formation shale in Dianqianbei area, SW China显示文摘Based on scanning electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption experiment at low temperature, the pore types and structures of the Longmaxi Formation shale in the Dianqianbei area, SW China were analyzed, and a molecular model was built. According to mathematical statistics, the validation of the model was solved by converting it into a mathematical formula. It is found by SEM that the pores in clay mineral layers and organic pores occupy most of the pores in shale; the nitrogen adsorption experiment at low temperature reveals that groove pores formed by flaky particles and micro-pores are the main types of pores, and the results of the two are in good agreement. A molecular model was established by illite and graphene molecular structures. Moreover, based on the fractal theory and the Frenkel-Halsey-Hill formula, a modified Frenkel-Halsey-Hill formula was proposed. The reliability of the molecular model was verified to some extent by obtaining parameters such as the fractal dimension, replacement rate and fractal coefficients of correction, and mathematical calculation. | 7 | Implementation of multi-standard video decoder on a heterogeneous coarse-grained reconfigurable processor显示文摘This paper proposes a task-based hybrid parallel and hybrid pipeline(THPHP)scheme to implement multi-standard video algorithms,including MPEG-2,H.264,and audio video coding standard(AVS),on a heterogeneous coarse-grained reconfigurable processor,called the reconfigurable multimedia system(REMUS).The proposed schemes greatly improve decoding performance and satisfy the real-time requirements of various high-definition(HD)video decoding standards.In THPHP,we propose both a task-based hybrid parallel scheme,in which macro-block(MB)-level,block-level,and sub-block-level decoding tasks are parallelized to improve data processing throughput,and a hybrid pipeline scheme,in which slice-level,MB-level,block-level and sub-block-level computations are pipelined to improve efficiency.Computation-intensive tasks,such as motion compensation,intra prediction,inverse discrete cosine transform,reconstruction,and deblocking filter,are implemented on two reconfigurable processing units,which are the core computing engines of REMUS.Thanks to the proposed schemes,the implementations can achieve H.264 high profile(HP)1920×1080@30 fps streams,AVS Jizhun profile(JP)1920×1080@39 fps streams,and MPEG-2 main profile(MP)1920×1080@41 fps streams when working at 200 MHz frequency.Compared with XPP-III(a commercial reconfigurable processor),when implementing H.264 HD decoding,the performance and energy efficiency on REMUS are improved by1.81×and 14.3×,respectively. | LIU LeiBo CHEN YingJie WANG Dong YIN ShouYi WANG Xing WANG Long LEI Hao CAO Peng WEI ShaoJun | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,8: | 1 |

| 9 | New insights into the suppression of inflammation and lipid accumulation by JAZF1显示文摘Atherosclerosis is one of the leading causes of disease and death worldwide.The identification of new therapeutic targets and agents is critical.JAZF1 is expressed in many tissues and is found at particularly high levels in adipose tissue(AT).JAZF1 suppresses inflammation(including IL-1β,IL-4,IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,TNFα,IFN-γ,IAR-20,COL3A1,laminin,and MCP-1)by reducing NF-κB pathway activation and AT immune cell infiltration.JAZF1 reduces lipid accumulation by regulating the liver X receptor response element(LXRE)of the SREBP-1c promoter,the cAMP-response element(CRE)of HMGCR,and the TR4 axis.LXRE and CRE sites are present in many cytokine and lipid metabolism gene promoters,which suggests that JAZF1 regulates these genes through these sites.NF-κB is the center of the JAZF1-mediated inhibition of the inflammatory response.JAZF1 suppresses NF-κB expression by suppressing TAK1 expression.Interestingly,TAK1 inhibition also decreases lipid accumulation.A dual-targeting strategy of NF-κB and TAK1 could inhibit both inflammation and lipid accumulation.Dual-target compounds(including prodrugs)1–5 exhibit nanomolar inhibition by targeting NF-κB and TAK1,EGFR,or COX-2.However,the NF-κB suppressing activity of these compounds is relatively low(IC50>300 nM).Compounds 6–14 suppress NF-κB expression with IC50 values ranging from 1.8 nM to 38.6 nM.HS-276 is a highly selective,orally bioavailable TAK1 inhibitor.Combined structural modifications of compounds using a prodrug strategy may enhance NF-κB inhibition.This review focused on the role and mechanism of JAZF1 in inflammation and lipid accumulation for the identification of new anti-atherosclerotic targets. | Wujun Chen Yingjie Zhong Yang Yuan Meng Zhu Wenchao Hu Ning Liu Dongming Xing | 2023 | Genes & Diseases2023,10,6: | 0 |
| 10 | PUMA PROMOTES BAX ACTIVATION IN A FOXO3a-DEPENDENT MANNER IN STS-INDUCED APOPTOSIS显示文摘PUMA(p53 up-regulated modulator of apoptosis,also called Bbc3)was first identified as a BH3-only Bcl-2 family protein that is transcriptionally up-regulated by p53 and activated upon p53-dependent apoptotic stimuli,such as treatment with DNA-damaging drugs or UV irradiation.Recently,studies have shown that PUMA is also up-regulated in response to certain p53-independent apoptotic stimuli,such as growth factor deprivation or treatment with glucocorticoids or STS(staurosporine).However,the molecular mechanisms of PUMA up-regulation and how PUMA functions in response to p53-independent apoptotic stimuli remain poorly understood.In this study,based on real-time single cell analysis,flow cytometry,and western blotting technique,we investigated the function of PUMA in living human lung adenocarcinoma cells(ASTC-a-1)after STS treatment.Our results show that FOXO3a was activated by STS stimulation and then translocated from cytosol to nucleus.The expression of PUMA was up-regulated via a FOXO3a-dependent manner after STS treatment,while p53 had little function in this process.Moreover,cell apoptosis and Bax activation induced by STS were not blocked by Pifithrin-α(p53 inhibitor),which indicated that p53 was not involved in this signaling pathway.Taken together,these results suggest that PUMA promoted Bax activation in a FOXO3a-dependent pathway during STS-induced apoptosis,while p53 was dispensable in this process. | YINGJIE ZHANG DA XING | 2010 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2010,3,1: | 0 |

However, the current implementation of multifunctional detectors is based on the physical combination of optical lenses, gratings, and multiple photodetectors, the large size and its complex structure hinder the miniaturization, lightweight, and integration of devices. In contrast, perovskite materials have achieved remarkable progress in the field of multifunctional photodetectors due to their diverse crystal structures, simple morphology manipulation, and excellent optoelectronic properties. In this review, we first overview the crystal structures and morphology manipulation techniques of perovskite materials and then summarize the working mechanism and performance parameters of multifunctional photodetectors. Furthermore, the fabrication strategies of multifunctional perovskite photodetectors and their advancements are highlighted, including polarized light detection, spectral detection, angle-sensing detection, and selfpowered detection.
