2Untangling the contributions of meteorological conditions and human mobility to tropospheric NO_(2) in Chinese mainland during the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020显示文摘In early 2020,unprecedented lockdowns and travel bans were implemented in Chinese mainland to fight COVID-19;which led to a large reduction in anthropogenic emissions.This provided a unique opportunity to isolate the effects from emission and meteorology on tropospheric nitrogen dioxide(N0_(2)).Comparing the atmospheric N0_(2) in 2020 with that in 2017,we found the changes of emission have led to a 49.3±23.5%reduction,which was〜12%more than satellite-observed reduction of 37.8±16.3%.The discrepancy was mainly a result of changes of meteorology,which have contributed to an 8.1±14.2%increase of N02.We also revealed that the emission-induced reduction of N02 has significantly negative correlations to human mobility,particularly that inside the city.The intra-city migration index derived from Baidu Location-Based-Service can explain 40.4%it 17.7%variance of the emission-induced reduction of N0_(2) in 29 megacities,each of which has a population of over 8 million in Chinese mainland.Yuxiang Zhang Haixu Bo Zhe Jiang Yu Wang Yunfei Fu Bingwei Cao Xuewen Wang Jiaqi Chen Rui Li 2021National Science Review2021,8,11:2

5Adjunctive sepsis therapy with aminophylline(STAP):a randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:Sepsis is a serious disease caused by infection.Aminophylline has anti-asthma and anti-inflammatory effects.We aimed to explore the safety and effect of aminophylline in sepsis.Methods:We conducted a clinical randomized controlled trial involving 100 patients diagnosed with sepsis within 48 h after intensive care unit(ICU)admission in two sites.All patients were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive standard therapy with or without aminophylline.The primary clinical outcome was all-cause mortality at 28 days.Results:From September 27,2018 to February 12,2020,we screened 277 septic patients and eventually enrolled 100 patients,with 50 assigned to the aminophylline group and 50 to the usual-care group.At 28 days,7 of 50 patients(14.0%)in the aminophylline group had died,compared with 16 of 50(32.0%)in the usual-care group(P=0.032).Cox regression showed that the aminophylline group had a lower hazard of death(hazard ratio=0.312,95%confidence interval:0.129–0.753).Compared with the usual-care group,patients in the aminophylline group had a longer survival time(P=0.039 by the log-rank test).The effects of aminophylline on vasopressor dose,oxygenation index,and sequential organ failure assessment score were timedependent with treatment.There were no significant differences in total hospitalization days,ICU hospitalization days,and rates of serious adverse events(all P>0.05).No adverse events were observed in the trial.Conclusions:Aminophylline as an adjunct therapy could significantly reduce the risk of death and prolong the survival time of patients with sepsis.Trial registration:ChiCTR.org.cn,ChiCTR1800019173.Ruifang Zhang Huan Liu Dongmei Dai Xianfei Ding Dong Wang Yan Wang Xuexiu Shi Shuguang Zhang Xiaoguang Duan Haixu Wang Yonggang Luo Shaohua Liu Bing Han Xiaojuan Zhang Yu Fang Jing Yang Wangbin Xu Tongwen Sun 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,23:2
6Effects of simulated microgravity on antioxidant system in testis of adult rats显示文摘Objective:To study the effects of simulated microgravity induced by tail-suspension on histological structures and antioxidant system in testis of adult rats.Methods:Forty Spraque-Dawley adult male rats were randomly divided into four groups,two experimental groups and two synchronic control groups.Rats in the two experimental groups were tail-suspended for 14 d and 28 d respectively,then serum hormone,testicular morphology and biochemical changes were evaluated.Results:Compared with the synchronic controls,serum testosterone(T)levels and testicular superoxide dismutase(SOD)significantly decreased(P < 0.05),while testicular malondialdehyde(MDA)significantly increased(P < 0.05)in tail-suspended rats.The changes were more prominent in the 28 d tail-suspended rats.In addition,hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining showed that seminiferous tubules atrophied,spermatogenic cells decreased,and seminiferous epithelial cells disintegrated and shed,abnormal multinucleated giant cells appeared and the lumina were azoospermic in tail-suspended rats.Conclusion:Simulated microgravity induced by tail-suspension has a harmful effect on male reproduction of adult rats by decreasing the ability of testicular antioxidant defense.Dangxia Zhou Shudong Qiu Ying Sun Jie Zhang Haixue Wang 2006Journal of Nanjing Medical University2006,20,4:2
7Genetic architecture of maize yield traits dissected by QTL mapping and GWAS in maize显示文摘The study of yield traits can reveal the genetic architecture of grain yield for improving maize production.In this study, an association panel comprising 362 inbred lines and a recombinant inbred line population derived from X178 × 9782 were used to identify candidate genes for nine yield traits. High-priority overlap(HPO) genes, which are genes prioritized in a genome-wide association study(GWAS), were investigated using coexpression networks. The GWAS identified 51 environmentally stable SNPs in two environments and 36 pleiotropic SNPs, including three SNPs with both attributes. Seven hotspots containing 41 trait-associated SNPs were identified on six chromosomes by permutation. Pyramiding of superior alleles showed a highly positive effect on all traits, and the phenotypic values of ear diameter and ear weight consistently corresponded with the number of superior alleles in tropical and temperate germplasm. A total of 61 HPO genes were detected after trait-associated SNPs were combined with the coexpression networks. Linkage mapping identified 16 environmentally stable and 16 pleiotropic QTL.Seven SNPs that were located in QTL intervals were assigned as consensus SNPs for the yield traits.Among the candidate genes predicted by our study, some genes were confirmed to function in seed development. The gene Zm00001 d016656 encoding a serine/threonine protein kinase was associated with five different traits across multiple environments. Some genes were uniquely expressed in specific tissues and at certain stages of seed development. 11Porcine Picornavirus 3C Protease Degrades PRDX6 to Impair PRDX6-mediated Antiviral Function显示文摘Peroxiredoxin-6(PRDX6)is an antioxidant enzyme with both the activities of peroxidase and phospholipase A2(PLA2),which is involved in regulation of many cellular reactions.However,the function of PRDX6 during virus infection remains unknown.In this study,we found that the abundance of PRDX6 protein was dramatically decreased in foot-and-mouth disease virus(FMDV)infected cells.Overexpression of PRDX6 inhibited FMDV replication.In contrast,knockdown of PRDX6 expression promoted FMDV replication,suggesting an antiviral role of PRDX6.To explore whether the activity of peroxidase and PLA2 was associated with PRDX6-mediated antiviral function,a specific inhibitor of PLA2(MJ33)and a specific inhibitor of peroxidase activity(mercaptosuccinate)were used to treat the cells before FMDV infection.The results showed that incubation of MJ33 but not mercaptosuccinate promoted FMDV replication.Meanwhile,overexpression of PRDX6 slightly enhanced type I interferon signaling.We further determined that the viral 3Cprowas responsible for degradation of PRDX6,and 3Cpro-induced reduction of PRDX6 was independent of the proteasome,lysosome,and caspase pathways.The protease activity of 3Cprowas required for induction of PRDX6 reduction.Besides,PRDX6 suppressed the replication of another porcine picornavirus Senecavirus A(SVA),and the 3Cproof SVA induced the reduction of PRDX6 through its proteolytic activity as well.Together,our results suggested that PRDX6 plays an important antiviral role during porcine picornavirus infection,and the viral 3Cproinduces the degradation of PRDX6 to overcome PRDX6-mediated antiviral function.Congcong Wang Huanhuan Feng Xiangle Zhang Kangli Li Fan Yang Weijun Cao Huisheng Liu Lili Gao Zhaoning Xue Xiangtao Liu Zixiang Zhu Haixue Zheng 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,5:1
12Reservoir controlling differences between consequent faults and antithetic faults in slope area outside of source: A case study of the south-central Wenan slope of Jizhong Depression, Bohai Bay Basin, East China显示文摘The control effects of different occurrence faults on oil and gas accumulation and distribution in the outer slope area of oil and gas reservoirs were studied taking the south-central Wen’an slope of the Jizhong depression in the Bohai Bay Basin as an example.Based on 3D seismic data and the distribution of oil and water,the controlling differences between consequent fault and antithetic fault were analyzed and compared from the formation and evolution rule of faults and the formation mechanism of fault traps,including development positions of the consequent fault traps and antithetic fault traps,oil and gas distribution horizon adjusted by fault and formation period of fault traps.The differences between consequent faults and antithetic faults in controlling reservoirs have three main aspects:(1)Consequent fault traps and antithetic fault traps are in different positions,the consequent fault traps are at the segmented growing point in the hanging wall of'hard-linkage'faults,while the antithetic fault traps are developed in the position with the largest throw in the footwall because of tilting action;(2)The two kinds of faults result in different oil and gas distribution vertically,oil and gas adjusted by consequent faults is distributed in a single layer or multi-layers,while oil and gas adjusted by antithetic faults occur in single layers;(3)The two kinds of fault traps are formed in different periods,the consequent fault traps are formed at the time when the related faults enter the stage of'hard-linkage',while the antithetic fault traps are formed at the beginning of the fault active period.LIU Junqiao WANG Haixue LYU Yanfang SUN Tongwen ZHANG Mengdi HE Wei SUN Yonghe ZHANG Tong WANG Chao CAO Lanzhu 2018Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,1:1
13Therapeutic Effect and Mechanism of Caulophyllum robustum Maxim Extract on Adjuvant Arthritis Rats显示文摘[Objectives]To study the anti-inflammation and anti-swelling effect of Caulophyllum robustum Maxim( CRM) extract on secondary lesions of adjuvant arthritis( AA),associated inflammatory factors of AA rats and mice immune function. [Methods]Rats were divided into high,middle and low dose CRM extract groups( 69. 23,34. 61,17. 31 mg/kg),methotrexate group( 0. 68 mg/kg),triptolide group( 7. 88 mg/kg),model group and normal control group. The AA rat model was induced by intradermal injection of Freund's complete adjuvant( FCA). After the AA model was established successfully,the paw swelling of AA rats was observed and recorded. The levels of interleukin-1β( IL-1β),interleukin-4( IL-4),interleukin-10( IL-10),Tumor Necrosis Factor-α( TNF-α),interleukin 17( IL-17),interferon( IFN-γ),granulocyte colony-stimulating factor( G-CSF) and transforming growth factor( TGF-β) in the serum of AA rats were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA). The spleen was removed and weighed for detecting the drug influence on the immune organs.Impacts were observed by gavage administration at different dosages of 25 mg/kg,50 mg/kg,100 mg/kg for seven days,adopting carbon granules clearance test,delayed-type hypersensitivity induced by dinitrofluorobenzene( DNFB) coupled with flow cytometry evaluating lymphocytes( CD3^+,CD4^+,CD8^+) activation and serolysin test. [Results] Compared with the model group,the joint swelling,spleen index and inflammatory cytokines( IL-1β,IL-4,IL-10,TNF-α,IL-17,IFN-γ,G-CSF,TGF-β) were reduced significantly( P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01). And the activity of CRM was significantly superior to methotrexate and triptergium. Moreover,the results indicated that different dosages of 25 mg/kg,50 mg/kg,100 mg/kg of CRM could significantly reduce the carbon granules clearance index( K) and phagocytic index( a),inhibit the phagocytosis of mononuclear macrophages,reduce the mice swelling extent and inhibit DTH in mice induced by DNFB,decrease the quantity of serum hemolysin. Percentage of CD3^+,CD4^+,and the ratio of CD4^+,CD8^+ notably decreased,whereas CD8^+ obviously increased. 16A pH Self-Monitoring Heterogeneous Multicompartmental Proteinosome with Spatiotemporal Regulation of Insulin Transportation显示文摘Inspired by the intricate eukaryotic cell structure,the spontaneously assembling multicompartments capable of spatiotemporally regulated biomacromolecules transportation is still a challenge.Here,a heterogeneous proteinosome-based multicompartment was designed and constructed by combining aqueous two-phase system and Pickering emulsion methods.By loading PEGylated insulin with boronic acid group into the multicompartment and glucose oxidase(GOx)into the innermost microgel domain,a short-or long-term transportation pathway of the loaded insulin was constructed by responding to the concentration of glucose.Moreover,the diminution of dynamic boronic ester bonding,the hindrance of polyethylene oxide micro-chamber,electrostatic interaction and the swelling behavior of hydrogel triggered by GOx/glucose reaction resulted in spatiotemporally controlled multi-pathway transportation mode with the releasing of insulin loaded inside the innermost microgel at high concentration of glucose(10 mg·mL^(-1)).Specially,by incorporating rhodamine B and fluorescein labelled BSA into the multicompartment,the release procedure of the loaded insulin can be monitored by the fluorescence color-change.Overall,a multimode microcompartment is constructed which is then expected to provide a promising platform for further therapeutic protein,gene and drug delivery,as well as towards the design of complicated cell biomimetics.Ping Wen Xueyi Wang Haixu Chen Dietmar Appelhans Xiaoman Liu Lei Wang Xin Huang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,12:1

20Petroleum exploration breakthrough and geological significance in Cretaceous Yingcheng and Denglouku formations of Shuangcheng area, northern Songliao Basin, NE China显示文摘Based on drilling geological,geochemical,geophysical and production test data,the characteristics of source rocks,reservoir rocks and caprocks,as well as the process of hydrocarbon generation,trap evolution and oil accumulation of the oil-bearing assemblage composed of the Cretaceous Yingcheng Formation(K1yc)and Denglouku Formation(K1d)in the Shuangcheng area,northern Songliao Basin,NE China,were analyzed by using the research methods for petroleum systems.The source rocks mainly exist in K1yc,with the organic matters mainly originated from lower aquatic organisms and algae,and reaching the grade of high-quality source rock in terms of organic abundance.The crude oil,which is characterized by low density,high freezing point and high wax content,is believed to have generated by the K1yc source rocks.The reservoir rocks include K1d sandstones and K1yc glutenites.The mudstone in the fourth member of K1d serves as the direct caprock of the oil reservoir.The oil was generated during the period between Yaojia Formation and Nenjiang Formation,and then accumulated during the periods of Nenjiang Formation and Paleogene–Neogene.The traps evolved in three stages:the late Yingcheng Formation,the late Quantou Formation and the late Nenjiang Formation,forming structural and structural-lithologic reservoirs.It is concluded that good source-reservoir-caprock assemblage,late hydrocarbon charging,short migration distance and stable tectonic setting are favorable factors for the formation of oil reservoirs.LIU Chao FU Xiaofei LI Yangcheng WANG Haixue SUN Lidong LU Jiamin LI Junhui SUN Youhai SHI Lidong HU Huiting YUAN Hongqi YANG Zicheng 2023Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,1:0
