3Adsorption and desorption characteristics of diphenylarsenicals in two contrasting soils显示文摘Diphenylarsinic acid(DPAA) is formed during the leakage of aromatic arsenic chemical weapons in soils,is persistent in nature,and results in arsenic contamination in the field.The adsorption and desorption characteristics of DPAA were investigated in two typical Chinese soils,an Acrisol(a variable-charge soil) and a Phaeozem(a constant-charge soil).Their thermodynamics and some of the factors influencing them(i.e.,initial pH value,ionic strength and phosphate) were also evaluated using the batch method in order to understand the environmental fate of DPAA in soils.The results indicate that Acrisol had a stronger adsorption capacity for DPAA than Phaeozem.Soil DPAA adsorption was a spontaneous and endothermic process and the amount of DPAA adsorbed was affected significantly by variation in soil pH and phosphate.In contrast,soil organic matter and ionic strength had no significant effect on adsorption.This suggests that DPAA adsorption may be due to specific adsorption on soil mineral surfaces.Therefore,monitoring the fate of DPAA in soils is recommended in areas contaminated by leakage from chemical weapons.Anan Wang Shixin Li Ying Teng Wuxin Liu Longhua Wu Haibo Zhang Yujuan Huang Yongming Luo Peter Christie 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6:8

5An estimation method of soil wind erosion in Inner Mongolia of China based on geographic information system and remote sensing显示文摘Studies of wind erosion based on Geographic Information System(GIS) and Remote Sensing(RS) have not attracted sufficient attention because they are limited by natural and scientific factors.Few studies have been conducted to estimate the intensity of large-scale wind erosion in Inner Mongolia,China.In the present study,a new model based on five factors including the number of snow cover days,soil erodibility,aridity,vegetation index and wind field intensity was developed to quantitatively estimate the amount of wind erosion.The results showed that wind erosion widely existed in Inner Mongolia.It covers an area of approximately 90×104 km2,accounting for 80% of the study region.During 1985–2011,wind erosion has aggravated over the entire region of Inner Mongolia,which was indicated by enlarged zones of erosion at severe,intensive and mild levels.In Inner Mongolia,a distinct spatial differentiation of wind erosion intensity was noted.The distribution of change intensity exhibited a downward trend that decreased from severe increase in the southwest to mild decrease in the northeast of the region.Zones occupied by barren land or sparse vegetation showed the most severe erosion,followed by land occupied by open shrubbery.Grasslands would have the most dramatic potential for changes in the future because these areas showed the largest fluctuation range of change intensity.In addition,a significantly negative relation was noted between change intensity and land slope.The relation between soil type and change intensity differed with the content of Ca CO3 and the surface composition of sandy,loamy and clayey soils with particle sizes of 0–1 cm.The results have certain significance for understanding the mechanism and change process of wind erosion that has occurred during the study period.Therefore,the present study can provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of wind erosion in Inner Mongolia.Yi ZHOU Bing GUO ShiXin WANG HePing TAO 2015Journal of Arid Land2015,7,3:5
6Differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into neuronal cells on fetal bovine acellular dermal matrix as a tissue engineered nerve scaffold显示文摘The purpose of this study was to assess fetal bovine acellular dermal matrix as a scaffold for supporting the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells into neural cells following induction with neural differentiation medium.We performed long-term,continuous observation of cell morphology,growth,differentiation,and neuronal development using several microscopy techniques in conjunction with immunohistochemistry.We examined specific neuronal proteins and Nissl bodies involved in the differentiation process in order to determine the neuronal differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.The results show that bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells that differentiate on fetal bovine acellular dermal matrix display neuronal morphology with unipolar and bi/multipolar neurite elongations that express neuronal-specific proteins,including βIII tubulin.The bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells grown on fetal bovine acellular dermal matrix and induced for long periods of time with neural differentiation medium differentiated into a multilayered neural network-like structure with long nerve fibers that was composed of several parallel microfibers and neuronal cells,forming a complete neural circuit with dendrite-dendrite to axon-dendrite to dendrite-axon synapses.In addition,growth cones with filopodia were observed using scanning electron microscopy.Paraffin sectioning showed differentiated bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells with the typical features of neuronal phenotype,such as a large,round nucleus and a cytoplasm full of Nissl bodies.The data suggest that the biological scaffold fetal bovine acellular dermal matrix is capable of supporting human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell differentiation into functional neurons and the subsequent formation of tissue engineered nerve.Yuping Feng Jiao Wang Shixin Ling Zhuo Li Mingsheng Li Qiongyi Li Zongren Ma Sijiu Yu 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,22:4
7Automatic segmentation of foveal avascular zone based on adaptive watershed algorithm in retinal optical coherence tomography angiography images显示文摘The size and shape of the foveal avascular zone(FAZ)have a strong positive correlation with several vision-threatening ret inovascular diseases.The identification,segmentation and analysis of FAZ are of great significance to clinical diagnosis and treatment.We presented an adaptive watershed algorithm to automatically extract F AZ from retinal optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)images.For the traditional watershed algorithm,'over-segmentation'is the most common problem.FAZ is often incorrectly divided into multiple regions by redundant'dams'.This paper analyzed the relationship between the'dams'length and the maximum inscribed circle radius of FAZ,and proposed an adaptive watershed algorithm to solve the problem of'over-segmentation'.Here,132 healthy retinal images and 50 diabetic retinopathy(DR)images were used to verify the accuracy and stability of the algorithm.Three ophthal-mologists were invited to make quan titative and qualitative evaluations on the segmentation results of this algorithm.The quantitative evaluation results show that the correlation coffi-cients between the automatic and manual segmentation results are 0.945(in healthy subjects)and 0.927(in DR patients),respectively.For qualitative evaluation,the percentages of'perfect segmentation'(score of 3)and'good segmentation'(score of 2)are 99.4%(in healthy subjects)and 98.7%(in DR patients),respectively.This work promotes the application of watershed algorithm in FAZ segmentation,making it a useful tool for analyzing and diagnosing eye diseases.Jian Liu Shixin Yan Nan Lu Dongni Yang Chunhui Fan Hongyu Lv Shuanglian Wang in Zhu Yuqian Zhao Yi Wang Zhenhe Ma Yao Yu 2022Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2022,15,1:3
8Coupled model constructed to simulate the landslide dam flood discharge:a case study of Baige landslide dam,Jinsha River显示文摘Landslide dam,always triggered by the strong earthquake and heavy rain,is a common natural disaster around the world.In this study,a coupled model was built by combining DB-IWHR model and the two-dimensional hydrodynamic model to simulate the landslide dam flood discharge.We mapped the maximum Baige landslide dam flood inundated area based on Gaofen-1 imagery,and then simulated the process of Baige landslide dam flood discharge using this coupled model.It was proved that,with 80.05%F values,the coupled model was suitable to simulate the process of landslide dam flood discharge.Lastly,multiple scenarios were simulated respectively by setting varying width and depth of spillway.The results of scenarios 1-4 indicated that spillway width presented low sensibility to the peak flow in spillway and the time of its arrival,and similarly to the water depth at river cross-section and the inundated area.Water depth at river cross-section and the inundated area decreased as spillway width increased.Even if spillway width varied at 10 m interval,the average variation of water depth was less than 1.82 m and the variation of inundated area was less than 2.85%.However,the results of scenarios 5-8 indicated that spillway depth was sensitive to the peak flow in spillway and its arrival time,and also to water depth at river cross-section and the inundated area.Water depth at river cross-section and the inundated area increased first and then started to drop with spillway depth kept decreasing.When spillway depth varied at only 2 m interval,the average variation of water depth at river cross-section basically exceeded 2 m and the variation of inundated area was more than 2.85%.Hongjie WANG Yi ZHOU Shixin WANG Futao WANG 2020Frontiers of Earth Science2020,14,1:3
9Dependence of magnetic field just inside the magnetopause on subsolar standoff distance:Global MHD results显示文摘The subsolar magnetopause is the boundary between the solar wind and the Earth's magnetosphere,where reduced solar wind dynamic pressure is equal to the magnetic pressure of the Earth's outer magnetosphere.We use a global magnetohydrodynamic (MHD)model to estimate the ratio f of the compressed magnetic field just inside the subsolar magnetopause to the purely dipolar magnetic field.We also compare our numerical results to a similar work by Shue,which used Time History of Events and Macroscale Interactions during Substorms(THEMIS)data.Our results show that the ratio f is linearly proportional to the subsolar magnetopause standoff distance(r0)for both the northward and southward interplanetary magnetic field,properties consistent with Shue but with a smaller proportionality constant.However,previous theoretical studies show that f is nearly independent of the subsolar standoff distance.The global model results also show that f is smaller for the southward Interplanetary Magnetic Field(IMF)under the same r0,and that the proportionality constant for the southward IMF is larger than that for the northward IMF.Both conclusions agree with statistical results from observations by Shue.WANG Ming LU JianYong LIU ZiQian PEI ShiXin 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,12:2
10Transcriptome exploration to provide a resource for the study of Auricularia heimuer显示文摘Auricularia heimuer,an edible jelly fungus,is in considerable demand in Asia due to its high nutritive,economic and medicinal values.RNA-Seq was used to investigate and analyze the mycelium transcriptome of A.heimuer for gene discovery.A total of 26,857 unigenes with an N50 length of 1333 bp were assembled by de novo sequencing.In addition,unigenes were annotated by publicly available databases,including gene descriptions,gene ontology(GO),clusters of orthologous group(COG),Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)metabolic pathways,and protein family(Pfam)terms.A.heimuer was also studied for its wood degradation ability.Thirty-eight putative FOLymes(fungal oxidative lignin enzymes)and 251 CAZymes(carbohydrate-active enzymes)were located from A.heimuer transcriptome.Our study provides a comprehensive sequence resource for A.heimuer at the transcriptional level,which will lay a strong foundation for functional genomics studies and gene discovery of this promising fungus.Jian Zhang Tingting Sun Shixin Wang Li Zou 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,5:2

13Research and practice of intelligent coal mine technology systems in China显示文摘This study considered the role of coal as China’s basic energy source and examines the development of the coal industry.We focused on the intelligent development of coal mines,and introduced the“Chinese mode”of intelligent mining in underground coal mines,which uses complete sets of technical equipment to propose classifcation and grading standards.In view of the basic characteristics and technical requirements of intelligent coal mine systems,we established a digital logic model and propose an information entity and knowledge map construction method.This involves an active information push strategy based on a knowledge demand model and an intelligent portfolio modeling and distribution method for collaborative control of coal mines.The top-level architecture of 5G+intelligent coal mine systems combines intelligent applications such as autonomous intelligent mining,human–machine collaborative rapid tunneling,unmanned auxiliary transportation,closed-loop safety control,lean collaborative operation,and intelligent ecology.Progress in intelligent mining technology was described in terms of a dynamic modifed geological model,underground 5G network and positioning technology,intelligent control of the mining height and straightness of the longwall working face,and intelligent mining equipment.The development of intelligent coal mines was analyzed in terms of its imbalances,bottlenecks,and the compatibility of large-scale systems.Implementation ideas for promoting the development of intelligent coal mines were proposed,such as establishing construction standards and technical specifcations,implementing classifcation and grading standards according to mining policy,accelerating key technology research,and building a new management and control model.Guofa Wang Huaiwei Ren Guorui Zhao Desheng Zhang Zhiguo Wen Lingyu Meng Shixin Gong 2022International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,2:2
14Memetic algorithm for multi-mode resource-constrained project scheduling problems显示文摘A memetic algorithm(MA) for a multi-mode resourceconstrained project scheduling problem(MRCPSP) is proposed. We use a new fitness function and two very effective local search procedures in the proposed MA. The fitness function makes use of a mechanism called 'strategic oscillation' to make the search process have a higher probability to visit solutions around a 'feasible boundary'. One of the local search procedures aims at improving the lower bound of project makespan to be less than a known upper bound, and another aims at improving a solution of an MRCPSP instance accepting infeasible solutions based on the new fitness function in the search process. A detailed computational experiment is set up using instances from the problem instance library PSPLIB. Computational results show that the proposed MA is very competitive with the state-of-the-art algorithms. 19FWENet:a deep convolutional neural network for flood water body extraction based on SAR images显示文摘As one of the most severe natural disasters in the world,floods caused substantial economic losses and casualties every year.Timely and accurate acquisition of flood inundation extent could provide technical support for relevant departments in the field of flood emergency response and disaster relief.Given the accuracy of existing research works extracting flood inundation extent based on Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)images and deep learning methods is relatively low,this study utilized Sentinel-1 SAR images as the data source and proposed a novel model named flood water body extraction convolutional neural network(FWENet)for flood information extraction.Then three classical semantic segmentation models(UNet,Deeplab v3 and UNet++)and two traditional water body extraction methods(Otsu global thresholding method and Object-Oriented method)were compared with the FWENet model.Furthermore,this paper analyzed the water body area change situations of Poyang Lake.The main results of this paper were as follows:Compared with other five water body extraction methods,the FWENet model achieved the highest water body extraction accuracy,its F1 score and mean intersection over union(mIoU)were 0.9871 and 0.9808,respectively.This study could guarantee the subsequent research on flood extraction based on SAR images.Jingming Wang Shixin Wang Futao Wang Yi Zhou Zhenqing Wang Jianwan Ji Yibing Xiong Qing Zhao 2022International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1:1
