1Deep carbon cycles constrained by a large-scale mantle Mg isotope anomaly in eastern China显示文摘Although deep carbon recycling plays an important role in the atmospheric CO_2 budget and climate changes through geological time,the precise mechanisms remain poorly understood.Since recycled sedimentary carbonate through plate subduction is the main light-δ^(26)Mg reservoir within deep-Earth,Mg isotope variation in mantle-derived melts provides a novel perspective when investigating deep carbon cycling.Here,we show that the Late Cretaceous and Cenozoic continental basalts from 13 regions covering the whole of eastern China have low δ^(26)Mg isotopic compositions,while the Early Cretaceous basalts from the same area and the island arc basalts from circum-Paciic subduction zones have mantle-like or heavy Mg isotopic characteristics.hus,a large-scale mantle low δ^(26)Mg anomaly in eastern China has been delineated,suggesting the contribution of sedimentary carbonates recycled into the upper mantle,but limited into the lower mantle.his large-scale spatial and temporal variation of Mg isotopes in the mantle places severe constraints on deep carbon recycling via oceanic subduction.Shu-Guang Li Wei Yang Shah Ke Xunan Meng Hengci Tian Lijuan Xu Yongsheng He Jian Huang Xuan-Ce Wang Qunke Xia Weidong Sun Xiaoyong Yang Zhong-Yuan Ren Haiquan Wei Yongsheng Liu Fancong Meng Jun Yan 2017National Science Review2017,4,1:23
2Application of Orthogonal Array and Walsh Transform in Resilient Function显示文摘The relationship between Walsh transform of a Boolean function and the orthogonality of some columns of its support table is investigated. This result improves the characterization of the orthogonality of Orthogonal array(OA). Stinson and Massey gave two construction methods of linear resilient functions, one is to use linear code, the other is to utilize the large set of orthogonal arrays and right cosets. 3Current situation and forecast of environmental risks of a typical lead-zinc sulfide tailings impoundment based on its geochemical characteristics显示文摘The potential environmental implications of a Pb(Lead)-Zn(Zinc)sulfide tailing impoundment were found to be dependent on its geochemical characteristics.One typical lead-zinc sulfide tailing impoundment was studied.Ten boreholes were set with the grid method and 36 tailings were sampled and tested.According to the results of metal content analysis,the tailing samples contained considerably high contents of heavy metals,ranging from 6.99 to 89.0 mg/kg for Cd,75.3 to 602 mg/kg for Cu,0.53%to 2.63%for Pb and 0.30%to 2.54%for Zn.Most of the heavy metals in the sample matrix showed a uniform concentration distribution,except Cd.Cd,Pb,Zn,and Mn were associated with each other,and were considered to be the dominant contributors based on hierarchical cluster analysis.XRD,SEM and XPS were employed for evaluation of the tailing weathering characteristics,confirming that the tailings had undergone intensive weathering.The maximum potential acidity of the tailings reached 244 kg H2SO4/ton;furthermore,the bioavailability of heavy metals like Pb,Cd,Cr,Cu,and Zn was 37.8%,12.9%,12.2%,5.95%,and 5.46%respectively.These metals would be potentially released into drainage by the weathering process.Analysis of a gastrointestinal model showed that Pb,Cr,Ni and Cu contained in the tailings were high-risk metals.Thus,control of the heavy metals’migration and their environmental risks should be planned from the perspective of geochemistry.Tao Chen Zi-Ang Yan Damao Xu Minghui Wang Jian Huang Bo Yan Xianming Xiao Xunan Ning 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,7:1

8Artificial intelligence-based medical image segmentation for 3D printing and naked eye 3D visualization显示文摘Image segmentation for 3D printing and 3D visualization has become an essential component in many fields of medical research,teaching,and clinical practice.Medical image segmentation requires sophisticated computerized quantifications and visualization tools.Recently,with the development of artificial intelligence(AI)technology,tumors or organs can be quickly and accurately detected and automatically contoured from medical images.This paper introduces a platform-independent,multi-modality image registration,segmentation,and 3D visualization program,named artificial intelligence-based medical image segmentation for 3D printing and naked eye 3D visualization(AIMIS3D).YOLOV3 algorithm was used to recognize prostate organ from T2-weighted MRI images with proper training.Prostate cancer and bladder cancer were segmented based on U-net from MRI images.CT images of osteosarcoma were loaded into the platform for the segmentation of lumbar spine,osteosarcoma,vessels,and local nerves for 3D printing.Breast displacement during each radiation therapy was quantitatively evaluated by automatically identifying the position of the 3D printed plastic breast bra.Brain vessel from multimodality MRI images was segmented by using model-based transfer learning for 3D printing and naked eye 3D visualization in AIMIS3D platform.Guang Jia Xunan Huang Sen Tao Xianghuai Zhang Yue Zhao Hongcai Wang Jie He Jiaxue Hao Bo Liu Jiejing Zhou Tanping Li Xiaoling Zhang Jinglong Gao 2022Intelligent Medicine2022,2,1:0
9Relations among sensitivity,specificity and predictive values of medical tests based on biomarkers显示文摘Diagnostic tests are usually based on some quantitative biomarkers.Two key parameters used to characterise the quality of a test are test sensitivity and specificity.Predictive values of the disease status based on test results are also of interest in medical research and public health management.In this paper,we study the relations among sensitivity,specificity and predictive values of the test.The core concept is risk function,which is assumed to be an increasing function of the biomarker.Our results show that test sensitivity and specificity change in opposite directions.The positive predictive value and the sensitivity also change in opposite directions.Likewise,the negative predictive value and the specificity change in opposite directions.Hongyue Wang Bokai Wang Xunan Zhang Changyong Feng 2021General Psychiatry2021,34,2:0
