1Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb ages and trace element geochemistry of the Kuhai gabbro and the Dur'ngoi diorite in the southern east Kunlun tectonic belt, Qinghai, Western China and their geological implications显示文摘Timing of the intermediate-basic igneous rocks developed in the area of Kuhai-A'nyêmaqên along the southern east Kunlun tectonic belt is a controversial issue. This paper presents new zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating data for igneous zircons from the Kuhai gabbro and the Dur'ngoi diorite in the Kuhai-A'nyemaqen tectonic belt, which are 555±9 Ma and 493±6 Ma, respectively. The trace element geochemical features of the Kuhai gabbro and the Dur'ngoi diorite are similar to those of ocean island basalts (OIB) and island arc basalts (IAB), respectively. Thus, the Kuhai gabbro with the age of 555±9 Ma and OIB geochemical features is similar to the Yushigou oceanic ophiolite in the North Qilian orogen, whereas the Dur'ngoi diorite with the age of 493±6 Ma and IAB geochemical features is similar to the island arc volcanic rocks developed in the north Qaidam. The Late Neoproterozoic to Early Ordovician ophiolite complex in the area of Kuhai-A'nyêmaqên suggests that the southern margin of the 'Qilian-Qaidam-Kunlun' archipelagic ocean in this period was located in the southern east Kunlun tectonic belt. 2The point mutation of p53 gene exon7 in hepatocellular carcinoma from Anhui Province,a non HCC prevalent area in China显示文摘AIM:In hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)prevalent areas of China,the point mutation of p53 exon7 is highly correlated with hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection and aflatoxin B intake While in non-HCC_prevalent areas of China,these factors are not so important in the etiology of HCC.Therefore,the point mutation of p53 exon7 may also be different than that in HCC-pervalent areas of China.The aim of this study is to investigate the status and carcinogenic role of the point mutation of p53 gene exon7 in hepatocellular carcinoma from Anhui Province,a non-HCC-prevalent area in China.METHODS:RCR,PCR-SSCP and PCR-RFLP were applied to analyze the homozygous deletion and point mutation of p53 exon7 in HCC samples from Anhui,which were confimed by DNA sequencing and Genbak comparison.RESULTS:In the 38 samples of hepatocellular carcinoma,no homozygous deletion of p53 exon7 was detected and point mutations of p53 exon7 were found in 4 cases,which were found to be heterozygous mutation of codon 249 with a mutation rate of 10.53%(4/38).The third base mutation(G→T)of p53 codon 249 was found by DNA sequencing and Genbank comparison.CONCLUSION:The incidence of point mutation of p53 codon 249 is lower in hepatocellular carcinoma and the heterozygous mutation of p53 exon7 found in these patients only indicate that they have genetic susceptibility to HCC p53 codon 249 is a hotspot of p53 exon7 point mutation suggesting that the point mutation of p53 exon 7 may not play a majuor role in the carcinogenesis of HCC in Anhui Province,a non-HCC-prevalent area in China.LiuH WangY2002World Journal of Gastroenterology2002,8,3:13
3Fluid/melt in continental deep subduction zones: Compositions and related geochemical fractionations显示文摘Plate subduction is the most magnificent process in the Earth. Subduction zones are important sites for proceeding matter- and energy- transports between the Earth's surface and the interior, continental crust growth, and crust-mantle interactions. Besides, a number of geological processes in subduction zones are closely related to human beings' daily life, such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, formation of mineral deposits. Subduction process thus has long been the centric topic of Earth sciences. The finding in 1980 s that continental crust could be subducted to mantle depths is a revolutionary progress in plate tectonic theory. Compared to oceanic crust, continental crust is colder, drier, lighter, and much more geochemically/isotopically heterogeneous. Hence, continental subduction process would affect the structure, compositions and evolutions of the overlying mantle wedge even more. During continental subduction and subsequent exhumation, fluids and melts can be generated in the(de)hydration process and partial melting process, respectively. These melts/fluids play important roles in crust-mantle interactions, elemental migrations, isotopic fractionations, and mantle metasomatism. By summarizing recent research works on subduction zones in this paper, we present a review on the types, physicochemical conditions and compositions of fluids/melts, as well as the migration behaviors of fluid-related characteristic elements(Nb-Ta-V) and the fractionation behaviors of non-traditional stable isotopes(Li-Mg) in subduction zones. 4Improving biocontrol activity of Pseudomonas fluorescens through chromosomal inte-gration of 2,4-diacetylphloro-glucinol biosynthesis genes显示文摘Antibiotic 2,4-diacetylphloroglucinol (2,4- DAPG) produced by Pseudomonas fluorescens CPF-10 and 2P24 is a principal factor enabling bacteria to suppress plant diseases caused by soilborne pathogens. In this study, a 2,4-DAPG biosynthesis locus phlACBDE cloned from strain CPF-10 was assembled into a mini-Tn5 transposon and in- troduced into the chromosome of P. fluorescens P32 (2,4- DAPG?), CPF-10 and 2P24 to construct the 2,4-DAPG over- producing derivatives P32-38, CPF10-9 and 2P24-48, respec- tively. All the transgenic strains showed an enhanced anti- biosis capacity against plant microbial pathogens in vitro and two strains, P32-38 and CPF10-9, provided significantly bet- ter protection against wheat take-all disease caused by Gae- umannomyces graminis var. tritici and tomato bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum in greenhouse. Compared to their parental strains, the 2,4-DAPG overproducing de- rivatives colonized to the same extent on the wheat tips in the autoclaved soil, but developed larger populations in natural soil. These results indicated that production of antibiotics 2,4- DAPG by biological control pseudomonads can contribute not only to their disease suppression capacities but also to the ecological competence in the resident microflora. 5Spherical pattern of tide-isostasy model and its application显示文摘In this paper, a calculation formula on spherical pattern of tide-isostasy model is established. The calculation indicated that for the oceanic crust plate which central angle is over 90°, a huge value(its equivalence is 108 N)of accumulative force moment in the crustal isostatic movement caused by tide can trigger off relative motion of plate, resulting in earthquake and volcanic eruption. The seismic wave features during the year 2001-2004 is an obvious example. The paracycles, i.e. 4, 12, 60, 36, 243, 372 and 396 years of tidal fluctuation can provide an explanation for some respective natural disasters.
