| 4 | Distribution of populations in excited states of electrodeless discharge lamp of Rb atoms显示文摘The intensity of fluorescence spectral lines of Rb atoms in the region of 350-1110nm is measured in eletrodeless discharge lamp. The population ratio between the excited states is calculated according to the spontaneous transition probabilities with rate equations. At the same time, the population density of energy level is also obtained. | 5 | Design of large aperture 500 MHz 5-cell superconducting cavity显示文摘With the potential application of Energy Recovery Linac (ERL), the superconducting (SC) cavities were developed to deliver much higher current than before. Nowadays, the current of the international SC accelerator designed has already exceeded 100 mA. This paper presents the design of a new 500 MHz 5-cell SC cavity (SINAP 5-cell cavity), in which the parameters r/Q= 515.5 of the fundamental mode and the geometry factor G=275.8 are under an acceptable Radio Frequency (RF) field level (B peak /E acc =4.31 mT/MV/m and E peak /E acc =2.48). This design employs a larger beam pipe to propagate the Higher Order Modes (HOMs) out of the cavity and increases the damping efficiently for the dangerous HOMs. By simulation technique, it has been found that almost all the dangerous HOMs (including TE 111 , TM 110 , and TM 011 ) can be propagated into the beam pipe and are absorbed by ferrite absorbers, when the beam pile is enlarged. | 6 | In Situ Super-Hindrance-Triggered Multilayer Cracks for Random Lasing inπ-Functional Nanopolymer Films显示文摘In situ self-assembly of semiconducting emitters into multilayer cracks is a significant solution-processing method to fabricate organic high-Q lasers.However,it is still difficult to realize from conventional conjugated polymers.Herein,we create the molecular super-hindrance-etching technology,based on theπ-functional nanopolymer PG-Cz,to modulate multilayer cracks applied in organic single-component random lasers.Massive interface cracks are formed by promoting interchain disentanglement with the super-steric hindrance effect ofπ-interrupted main chains,and multilayer morphologies with photonic-crystal-like ordering are also generated simultaneously during the drop-casting method.Meanwhile,the enhancement of quantum yields on micrometer-thick films(Φ=40%to 50%)ensures high-efficient and ultrastable deep-blue emission.Furthermore,a deep-blue random lasing is achieved with narrow linewidths~0.08 nm and high-quality factors Q≈5,500 to 6,200.These findings will offer promising pathways of organicπ-nanopolymers for the simplification of solution processes applied in lasing devices and wearable photonics. | Dongqing Lin Yang Li He Zhang Shuai Zhang Yuezheng Gao Tianrui Zhai Shu Hu Chuanxiang Sheng Heng Guo Chunxiang Xu Ying Wei Shifeng Li Yelong Han Quanyou Feng Shasha Wang Linghai Xie Wei Huang | 2023 | Research2023,,3: | 0 |
| 7 | Influence of water and oil immersion on the tribological properties of Excentrodendron hsienmu显示文摘Modern composite materials and lignum vitae are widely studied and used in water-lubricated bearings. Noise, wear and tear,environmental pollution, and limited resources restrict the application of these materials. Thus, alternatives to lignum vitae for water-lubricated bearings should be identified and developed. In this work, the chemical composition and mechanical and tribological properties of water-, vegetable oil-, and gear oil-immersed and wax- and water-extracted Excentrodendron hsienmu(E. hsienmu) samples were studied. Results showed that the friction coefficients of the water- and gear oil-immersed and waxand water-extracted E. hsienmu samples are significantly smaller than those of the wax- and water-extracted lignum vitae samples. The grinding crack widths of the water-extracted gear oil-immersed E. hsienmu samples are smaller than those of the water-immersed lignum vitae samples.
