X-ray and Magnetoresistance Measurements of Electrodeposited Cu-Co Granular Films显示文摘Granular CoxCu1-x alloy films were prepared by electrodeposition at room temperature directly onto semiconducting Si substrate. X-ray diffraction (XRD) revealed that the as-deposited films formed single phase metastable fcc alloy structure. The fcc lattice parameter α was found to decrease linearly with increasing Co concentration x in the studied range. The giant magnetoresistance (GMR) of the films was improved after annealing. Pure Co fcc diffraction peaks were observed in the diffractogram of the annealed sample, indicating phase separation occurred upon annealing. The optimal annealing temperature was 450℃. The maximum of magnetoresistance (MR) ratio 8.21% was obtained for the Co20Cu80 thin film after annealing at 450℃ for 1 h. The saturation field decreased upon annealing in the MR curves of Co20Cu80 film. | Suwei YAO, Haixia WU, Weiguo ZHANG and Hongzhi WANG Sugiyama Laboratory of Surface Technology, Department of Applied Chemistry, School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University, Tianjin 300072, China | 2005 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2005,21,3: | 2
Gradual Evolution from Fluvial Dominated to Tide Dominated Deltas and Channel Type Transformation: A Case Study of MPE3 Block in the Orinoco Heavy Oil Belt of the Eastern Venezuelan Basin显示文摘Based on the data of core description and sporopollen analysis, the gradual evolution of deltas in vertical direction and transition of channel types in the MPE3 block of the eastern Venezuela Basin have been surveyed by seismic phase and well logging facies interpretation. The results show that due to the great sea level rise, the sedimentary system of the Miocene Oficina Formation in the MPE3 block shifted from the distal-source sandy braided river delta to tide-affected delta, and eventually to tide-dominated delta.Vertically, during the early stage of sedimentation of Oficina Formation, the distributary channels of the delta were dominated by braided river channels. While in the later stage,as the tidal effect was gradually intensified, the channel changed from braided channel to meandering channel. On plane,as a result of differential transgression, sedimentary framework and distribution of sand bodies vary across the study area.Compared with the eastern part, the western part has more braided channels, larger channel bars, less developments of distributary bay and higher ratio of sand to mud.Whereas the braided channels in the south are larger than those in the north. It is the first time we pointed out the impact of marine transgression differences on the sedimentary facies distribution and river type transition in the study area.Factors like the structural and paleogeomorphological change, sea level variation, supply of sediments have strong influence on the evolution of sedimentary system and distribution of sandbodies. It is predicted that the major sandbody is more developed in the central south, which can guide the subsequent horizontal well development. | HUANG Wensong CHEN Heping XU Fang MENG Zheng ZHANG Fanqin WU Suwei | 2019 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,6: | 1
Layer-Contacted Graphene-Like BN/Ultrathin Bi_(3)O_(4)Br Stacking for Boosting Photocatalytic Molecular Oxygen Activation显示文摘Novel graphene-like boron nitride(BN)/Bi_(3)O_(4)Br photocatalysts have been controllably synthesized through a facile solvothermal method for the first time. Layer contact stacking between graphene-like BN and ultrathin Bi_(3)O_(4)Br was achieved with strong interaction. Dehalogenation is designed to harvest more visible light, and the ultrathin structure of Bi_(3)O_(4)Br is designed to accelerate charge transfer from inside to the surface. After graphene-like BN was engineered, photocatalytic performance greatly improved under visible light irradiation. Graphene-like BN can act as a surface electron-withdrawing center and adsorption center, facilitating molecular oxygen activation. O_(2)^(·-)was determined to be the main active species during the degradation process through analyses of electron spin resonance and XPS valence band spectra. | Jun Di Yan Li Yi Zhang Yiling Liu Suwei Wang Yao Wu Huaming Li Jiexiang Xia | 2023 | Transactions of Tianjin University2023,29,3: | 0
Recent advances in chemical protein synthesis:method developments and biological applications显示文摘The central dogma of modern biology underscores the pivotal roles proteins play in diverse biological processes, the study of which necessitates advanced methods to produce proteins with precision and versatility.Chemical protein synthesis,a powerful approach utilizing chemical reactions for the de novo construction of structurally accurate proteins, has emerged as a transformative tool for studying proteins and generating protein derivatives/mimics inaccessible by natural biological machinery, including post-translationally modified proteins, proteins comprised of unnatural amino acids,as well as mirror-image proteins. This review summarizes recent strides in synthetic method developments for chemical protein synthesis, including innovative techniques in solid-phase peptide synthesis, the challenges presented by difficult sequences in either synthesis or folding and the exploration of novel ligation reactions using both chemical and enzymatic methods.Furthermore, the review also delves into newly developed protocols for site-selective protein modifications and the generation of stapled or macrocyclized peptides/miniproteins,highlighting the power of chemical methods to make structurally diverse proteins.Recent applications of synthetic proteins in investigating post-translational modifications(phosphorylation,lipidation,glycosylation,ubiquitination,etc.),mirror-image biological processes and drug development are further discussed.Together, these topics provide a comprehensive overview of the current landscape of chemical protein synthesis. | Suwei Dong Ji-Shen Zheng Yiming Li Huan Wang Gong Chen Yongxiang Chen Gemin Fang Jun Guo Chunmao He Honggang Hu Xuechen Li Yanmei Li Zigang Li Man Pan Shan Tang Changlin Tian Ping Wang Bian Wu Chuanliu Wu Junfeng Zhao Lei Liu | 2024 | Science China Chemistry2024,67,4: | 0
Mutual interaction of microbiota and host immunity during health and diseases显示文摘Microbiota-host interaction has attracted more and more attentions in recent years. The association between microbiota and host health is largely attributed to its influence on host immune system.Microbial-derived antigens and metabolites play a critical role in shaping the host immune system, including regulating its development, activation, and function. However, during various diseases the microbiota-host communication is frequently found to be disordered. In particular, gut microbiota dysbiosis associated with or led to the occurrence and progression of infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, metabolic diseases, and neurological diseases.Pathogenic microbes and their metabolites disturb the protective function of immune system, and lead to disordered immune responses that usually correlate with disease exacerbation. In the other hand, the immune system also regulates microbiota composition to keep host homeostasis. Here,we will discuss the current advances of our knowledge about the interactions between microbiota and host immune system during health and diseases. | Di Wu Yinlian Zhang Suwei Dong Chao Zhong | 2021 | Biophysics Reports2021,7,4: | 0
