1Notch signaling pathway:architecture,disease,and therapeutics显示文摘The NOTCH gene was identified approximately 110 years ago.Classical studies have revealed that NOTCH signaling is an evolutionarily conserved pathway.NOTCH receptors undergo three cleavages and translocate into the nucleus to regulate the transcription of target genes.NOTCH signaling deeply participates in the development and homeostasis of multiple tissues and organs,the aberration of which results in cancerous and noncancerous diseases.However,recent studies indicate that the outcomes of NOTCH signaling are changeable and highly dependent on context.In terms of cancers,NOTCH signaling can both promote and inhibit tumor development in various types of cancer.The overall performance of NOTCH-targeted therapies in clinical trials has failed to meet expectations.Additionally,NOTCH mutation has been proposed as a predictive biomarker for immune checkpoint blockade therapy in many cancers.Collectively,the NOTCH pathway needs to be integrally assessed with new perspectives to inspire discoveries and applications.In this review,we focus on both classical and the latest findings related to NOTCH signaling to illustrate the history,architecture,regulatory mechanisms,contributions to physiological development,related diseases,and therapeutic applications of the NOTCH pathway.The contributions of NOTCH signaling to the tumor immune microenvironment and cancer immunotherapy are also highlighted.We hope this review will help not only beginners but also experts to systematically and thoroughly understand the NOTCH signaling pathway.Binghan Zhou Wanling Lin Yaling Long Yunkai Yang Huan Zhang Kongming Wu Qian Chu 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4:14
2The Heat Transfer Coefficients of the Heating Surface of 300 MWe CFB Boiler显示文摘A study of the heat transfer about the heating surface of three commercial 300 MWe CFB boilers was conducted in this work. The heat transfer coefficients of the platen heating surface, the external heat exchanger (EHE) and cyclone separator were calculated according to the relative operation data at different boiler loads. Moreover, the heat transfer coefficient of the waterwall was calculated by heat balance of the hot circuit of the CFB boiler. With the boiler capacity increasing, the heat transfer coefficients of these heating surface increases, and the heat transfer coefficient of the water wall is higher than that of the platen heating surface. The heat transfer coefficient of the EHE is the highest in high boiler load, the heat transfer coefficient of the cyclone separator is the lowest. Because the fired coal is different from the design coal in No.1 boiler, the ash content of the fired coal is much lower than that of the design coal. 4Prussian Blue Analogues as Electrodes for Aqueous Monovalent Ion Batteries显示文摘Aqueous batteries have engendered increasing attention as promising solutions for stationary energy storage due to their potentially low cost and innate safety.In various aqueous battery systems,Prussian blue analogues(PBAs)represent a class of promising electrode materials with fascinating electrochemical performance,owing to their large open frameworks,abundant ion insertion sites,and facile preparation.To date,PBAs have shown substantial progress towards storage of alkali metal ions(Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+)),H^(+),and NH4^(+) in aqueous electrolytes,which,however,has yet not been specifically summarized.This review selects some representative research to introduce the progress of PBAs in these battery systems and aims to discuss the crucial role of ionic charge carrier in affecting the overall electrode performance.Besides,some critical knowledge gaps and challenges of PBA materials have been pointed out for future development.Shen Qiu Yunkai Xu Xianyong Wu Xiulei Ji 2022Electrochemical Energy Reviews2022,5,2:2

6AIM2 deficiency in B cells ameliorates systemic lupus erythematosus by regulating Blimp-1-Bcl-6 axis-mediated B-cell differentiation显示文摘Absent in melanoma 2(AIM2)has been reported to be a component of inflammasomes in innate immune cells.Surprisingly,AIM2 is expressed by B cells,and higher AIM2 expression is observed in the B cells from lupus patients.To date,the inflammasome-indepe ndent functi on of AIM2 in B cells remai ns un clear.Here,we report in creased expressi on of AIM2 in human tonsil memory and germinal center(GC)B cells and in memory B cells and plasma cells from the circulation and skin lesions of lupus patients.Conditional knockout of AIM2 in B cells reduces the CD19^(+)B-cell frequency in lymph nodes and spleens,and dampens KLH-induced lgG1-antibody production.In a pristane-induced mouse model of lupus,AIM2 deficiency in B cells attenuates lupus symptoms and reduces the frequency of GC B cells,T follicular helper(Tfh)cells,plasmablast cells,and plasma cells.Furthermore,the loss of AIM2 in human B cells leads to the increased expression of Blimp-1 and reduces the expression of Bcl-6.However,the silendng of Blimp-1 and Bcl-6 has no significant effect on AIM2 expression,indicating that AIM2 might be the upstream regulator for Blimp-1 and Bcl-6.In addition,IL-10 is found to upregulate AIM2 expression via DNA demethylation.Together,our findings reveal that AIM2 is highly expressed in the B cells of lupus patients and promotes B-cell differentiation by modulating the Bcl-6-Blimp-1 axis,providing a novel target for SLE treatment.Ming Yang Di Long Longyuan Hu Zhidan Zhao Qianwen Li Yunkai Guo Zhenghao He Ming Zhao Liwei Lu Fen Li Hai Long Haijing Wu Qianjin Lu 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,10:1

9High-Order Extended Strong Tracking Filter显示文摘A novel High-order extended Strong tracking filter(H-STF) is proposed for a class of nonlinear systems. All high-order polynomial terms in the state model are regarded as implicit variables;the original state model is equivalently formulated into a pseudo-linear form;the dynamic relationship between each implicit variable and all variables is modeled;original state model is rewritten into an augmented linear model;the nonlinear measurement model can be rewritten into linear form;taking into account the problems of modeling errors and state mutations that may be caused by the introduction of implicit variables, a high-order extended strong tracking filter is designed. 10Lanthanide-doped nanocrystals in high-Q microtoroids for stable on-chip white-light lasers显示文摘The plentiful energy states of lanthanide(Ln^(3+))-doped nanomaterials make them very promising for on-chip integrated white-light lasers.Despite the rapid progresses,the Ln^(3+)-based white upconversion emissions are strongly restricted by their low upconversion quantum efficiency and the color stability.Herein,we combine the CaF_(2):Yb_(35)Tm_(1.5)Er_(0.5)nanocrystals and the high-Q microtoroids,and experimentally demonstrate the chip-integrated stable white-light laser.By optimizing the sizes,density,and distributions of Ln^(3+)-doped nanocrystals,the Q factors of Ln^(3+)-doped microtoroids are maintained as high as 5×10^(5).The strong light matter interaction in high-Q microtoroids greatly enhances the upconversion emission and dramatically reduces the laser thresholds at 652 nm,545 nm,and 475 nm to similarly low values(1.89-2.10 m J cm^(-2)).Consequently,robust white-light microlaser has been experimentally achieved from a single microtoroid.This research has paved a solid step toward the chip-scale integrated broadband microlasers.LIMIN JIN ZHUO LIU YUQI ZHANG YUNKAI WU YILIN LIU HUACHUN DENG QINGHAI SONG SHUMIN XIAO 2022Photonics Research2022,10,7:1
11Evolution of the porous structure for phosphoric acid etching carbon as cathodes in Li–O_(2) batteries:Pyrolysis temperature-induced characteristics changes显示文摘Although biomass-derived carbon(biochar)has been widely used in the energy field,the relation between the carbonization condition and the physical/chemical property of the product remains elusive.Here,we revealed the carbonization condition's effect on the morphology,surface property,and electrochemical performance of the obtained carbon.An open slit pore structure with shower-puff-like nanoparticles can be obtained by finely tuning the carbonization temperature,and its unique pore structure and surface properties enable the Li–O_(2) battery with cycling longevity(221 cycles with 99.8%Coulombic efficiency at 0.2 mA cm^(−2) and controlled discharge–charge depths of 500 mAh g^(−1))and high capacity(16,334 mAh g^(−1) at 0.02 mA cm^(−2)).This work provides a greater understanding of the mechanism of the biochar carbonization procedure under various pyrolysis conditions,paving the way for future study of energy storage devices.Feiyang Yang Ying Yao Yunkai Xu Cong Wang Meiling Wang Jingjie Ren Cunzhong Zhang Feng Wu Jun Lu 2024Carbon Energy2024,6,1:0
12MUTS-Based Cooperative Target Stalking for A Multi-USV System显示文摘This paper is concerned with the cooperative target stalking for a multi-unmanned surface vehicle(multi-USV)system.Based on the multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient(MADDPG)algorithm,a multi-USV target stalking(MUTS)algorithm is proposed.Firstly,a V-type probabilistic data extraction method is proposed for the first time to overcome shortcomings of the MADDPG algorithm.The advantages of the proposed method are twofold:1)it can reduce the amount of data and shorten training time;2)it can filter out more important data in the experience buffer for training.Secondly,in order to avoid the collisions of USVs during the stalking process,an action constraint method called Safe DDPG is introduced.Finally,the MUTS algorithm and some existing algorithms are compared in cooperative target stalking scenarios.In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed MUTS algorithm in stalking tasks,mission operating scenarios and reward functions are well designed in this paper.The proposed MUTS algorithm can help the multi-USV system avoid internal collisions during the mission execution.Moreover,compared with some existing algorithms,the newly proposed one can provide a higher convergence speed and a narrower convergence domain.Chengcheng Wang Yulong Wang Qing-Long Han Yunkai Wu 2023IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2023,10,7:0
13A platform for integrated spectrometers based on solution-processable semiconductors显示文摘Acquiring real-time spectral information in point-of-care diagnosis,internet-of-thing,and other lab-on-chip applications require spectrometers with hetero-integration capability and miniaturized feature.Compared to conventional semiconductors integrated by heteroepitaxy,solution-processable semiconductors provide a much-flexible integration platform due to their solution-processability,and,therefore,more suitable for the multi-material integrated system.However,solution-processable semiconductors are usually incompatible with the micro-fabrication processes.This work proposes a facile and universal platform to fabricate integrated spectrometers with semiconductor substitutability by unprecedently involving the conjugated mode of the bound states in the continuum(conjugated-BIC)photonics.Specifically,exploiting the conjugated-BIC photonics,which remains unexplored in conventional lasing studies,renders the broadband photodiodes with ultra-narrowband detection ability,detection wavelength tunability,and on-chip integration ability while ensuring the device performance.Spectrometers based on these ultra-narrowband photodiode arrays exhibit high spectral resolution and wide/tunable spectral bandwidth.The fabrication processes are compatible with solution-processable semiconductors photodiodes like perovskites and quantum dots,which can be potentially extended to conventional semiconductors.Signals from the spectrometers directly constitute the incident spectra without being computation-intensive,latency-sensitive,and error-intolerant.As an example,the integrated spectrometers based on perovskite photodiodes are capable of realizing narrowband/broadband light reconstruction and in-situ hyperspectral imaging.Yanhao Li Xiong Jiang Yimu Chen Yuhan Wang Yunkai Wu De Yu Kaiyang Wang Sai Bai Shumin Xiao Qinghai Song 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,9:0
