| 2 | Dynamic interaction of neutrophils and RFP-labelled Vibrio parahaemolyticus in zebrafish(Danio rerio)显示文摘Vibrio parahaemolyticus(Vp)is an aquatic zoonotic pathogen that causes vibriosis in marine animals as well as sepsis,gastroenteritis and wound infection in human.In vertebrates,the innate immune system plays a critical defense mechanism against Vp infection including transmigration of neutrophils.In this study,we have examined the genetic recombination and infectious process of Vp in the zebrafish(Danio rerio),a vertebrate model system extensively used for studying host-pathogen interactions.A pathogenic Vp strain,Vp57,tagged with red fluorescent protein(RFP)(Vp57^(RFP))was introduced into larval zebrafish at 3 days post fertilization(dpf),in which the innate immunity is present whereas the adaptive immunity has not yet developed.Vp57 and Vp57^(RFP)showed similar LD50 and induced similar symptoms and pathological changes in the hosts.We microinjected 579 colony-forming units(CFU)Vp57^(RFP)into the zebrafish caudal vein,and observed that neutrophils were recruited to the injection site and within 3 h post infection(hpi)Vp57^(RFP)were mainly distributed in the tail,eyes,heart and optic vesicle.After 3 hpi,the fish died with slight spine bending.Several Vp57^(RFP)were also detected in somites,the phagocytosis of neutrophils was activated through the progress of bacterial infections.We found that chemotaxis and phagocytosis of neutrophils occurs when zebrafish is infected by Vp57^(RFP),whereas Vp57^(RFP)can escape from neutrophils and colonize other remote regions using the blood circulation system. | Qiuyue Zhang An Ding Qianwen Yue Weiming Li Yao Zu Qinghua Zhang | 2017 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,6: | 1 |

| 5 | Investigation of Platinum Dispersed on Reduced Graphene Oxide-supported Tungsten Carbide via Sacrificial Cu Adlayers for Methanol Oxidation显示文摘Reduced graphene oxide-supported tungsten carbide composite(WC/RGO)was prepared by program-con-trolled reduction-carburization technique.Scanning electron microscope(SEM)and transmission electron micro-scope(TEM)show that WC nanoparticles with a narrow distribution(10-20 nm)are highly dispersed both on the edge and between the layers of RGO.And then it was used as a support to load different low contents(no more than 0.4 wt%)of Pt via sacrificial Cu adlayers.The morphology and the electrocatalytic activity of the prepared catalysts were characterized by TEM and cyclic voltammograms(CV),respectively.The results indicate that a small amount of isolated Pt atoms show low or even no activity for methanol oxidation.With the increasing deposition cycles,the content of Pt and the ensembles of neighboring Pt atoms are increased,which makes the onset potential shift nega-tively and mass current density increase.The results demonstrate that controllable amount of Pt can be deposited on WC/RGO by galvanic displacement with Cu,and the extent and domain of Pt loading affect the electrochemical performance.Meanwhile,this research also provides another route to prepare a catalyst with ultra low noble metal on WC/RGO for solving the problem of high cost of the catalyst. | Meiqin Shi Di Zhao Weiming Liu Youqun Chu Chun'an Ma | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2014,32,3: | 1 |

| 12 | Electron acceleration in a coil target-driven low-βmagnetic reconnection simulation显示文摘Magnetic reconnection driven by a capacitor coil target is an innovative way to investigate low-βmagnetic reconnection in the laboratory,whereβis the ratio of particle thermal pressure to magnetic pressure.Low-βmagnetic reconnection frequently occurs in the Earth’s magnetosphere,where the plasma is characterized byβ≲0.01.In this paper,we analyze electron acceleration during magnetic reconnection and its effects on the electron energy spectrum via particle-in-cell simulations informed by parameters obtained from experiments.We note that magnetic reconnection starts when the current sheet is down to about three electron inertial lengths.From a quantitative comparison of the different mechanisms underlying the electron acceleration in low-βreconnection driven by coil targets,we find that the electron acceleration is dominated by the betatron mechanism,whereas the parallel electric field plays a cooling role and Fermi acceleration is negligible.The accelerated electrons produce a hardened power-law spectrum with a high-energy bump.We find that injecting electrons into the current sheet is likely to be essential for further acceleration.In addition,we perform simulations for both a double-coil co-directional magnetic field and a single-coil one to eliminate the possibility of direct acceleration of electrons beyond thermal energies by the coil current.The squeeze between the two coil currents can only accelerate electrons inefficiently before reconnection.The simulation results provide insights to guide future experimental improvements in low-βmagnetic reconnection driven by capacitor coil targets. | Jiacheng Yu Jiayong Zhong Yongli Ping Weiming An | 2023 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2023,8,6: | 0 |
| 13 | Clinical study on concurrent and sequential therapy of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) combined with NP regimen chemotherapy in the treatment of middle and advanced non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of concurrent and sequential therapy for middle and advanced stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) useing IMRT combined with NP regimen chemotherapy. Methods: Eighty patients with middle and advanced stage NSCLC were randomized into two groups. Forty patients were underwent sequential therapy and other 40 patients were underwent concurrent therapy. IMRT was used in radiotherapy and NP regimen of vinorelbine+cispatin (NP) was used in chemotherapy. Results: (1) The overall response (CR+PR) rate was 75% in concurrent group and 45% in sequential group (P<0.05); (2) The treatment courses were 84 days and 140 days for concurrent group and sequential group respectively (P<0.05); (3) One-year survival rate in concurrent group was 72.4% and 52.3% in sequential group respectively; (4) The toxic effects can be tolerable by all of patients.
