| 8 | Storage and computing resource enabled joint virtual resource allocation with Qo S guarantee in mobile networks显示文摘Virtualization is the trend for the future mobile networks. With the advantage of virtualization,we can abstract the physical mobile network into the virtual network function(VNF) and design the network without the details. In this paper, we focus on the virtualization of the physical resources so that the resource allocation scheme considers not only the time-varying characteristic of wireless channels but also the amount of storage and computing resources. Virtual resources are composed of radio, storage and computing resources based on the virtualization technology. Since the cloud radio access network(C-RAN) is a successful paradigm to introduce computing resources into mobile networks, we investigate the virtual resource allocation scheme in the C-RAN architecture. With the content caching technology, we introduce the storage resources into joint resource allocation scheme further. In order to evaluate the performance of proposed scheme, we choose the effective capacity as the metric to include the influence of service latency. The purpose of the optimization problem is maximizing the system effective capacity with constraints of radio, storage and computing resources.It is simplified and converted into a convex problem solved by the subgradient method. | 9 | RIS-assisted MIMO secure communications with Bob's statistical CSI and without Eve's CSI显示文摘In this paper,we consider a reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)-assisted multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)secure communication system,where only legitimate user's(Bob's)statistical channel state information(CSI)can be obtained at the transmitter(Alice),while eavesdropper's(Eve's)CSI is unknown.Firstly,the analytical expression of the achievable ergodic rate at Bob is obtained.Then,by exploiting Bob's statistical CSI,we jointly design the transmit covariance matrix at Alice and the phase shift matrix at the RIS to minimize the transmit power of the information signal under the quality-of-service(QoS)constraint of Bob.Finally,we propose an artificial noise(AN)-aided method without Eve's CSI to enhance the security of this system and use the residual power to design the transmit covariance for AN.Simulation results verify the convergence of the proposed method,and also show that there exists a trade-off between the secrecy rate and QoS of Bob. | Wenwan Xu Jun Zhang Shu Cai Jue Wang Yi Wu | 2023 | Digital Communications and Networks2023,9,3: | 0 |
| 10 | Real-time observation of frequency Bloch oscillations with fibre loop modulation显示文摘Bloch oscillations(BOs)were initially predicted for electrons in a solid lattice to which a static electric field is applied.The observation of BOs in solids remains challenging due to the collision scattering and barrier tunnelling of electrons.Nevertheless,analogies of electron BOs for photons,acoustic phonons and cold atoms have been experimentally demonstrated in various lattice systems.Recently,BOs in the frequency dimension have been proposed and studied by using an optical micro-resonator,which provides a unique approach to controlling the light frequency.However,the finite resonator lifetime and intrinsic loss hinder the effect from being observed practically.Here,we experimentally demonstrate BOs in a synthetic frequency lattice by employing a fibre-loop circuit with detuned phase modulation.We show that a detuning between the modulation period and the fibre-loop roundtrip time acts as an effective vector potential and hence a constant effective force that can yield BOs in the modulation-induced frequency lattices.With a dispersive Fourier transformation,the pulse spectrum can be mapped into the time dimension,and its transient evolution can be precisely measured.This study offers a promising approach to realising BOs in synthetic dimensions and may find applications in frequency manipulations in optical fibre communication systems. | Hao Chen NingNing Yang Chengzhi Qin Wenwan Li Bing Wang Tianwen Han Chi Zhang Weiwei Liu Kai Wang Hua Long Xinliang Zhang Peixiang Lu | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,3: | 0 |
