1Online scheduling of image satellites based on neural networks and deep reinforcement learning显示文摘In the ‘‘Internet Plus' era, space-based information services require effective and fast image satellite scheduling. Most existing studies consider image satellite scheduling to be an optimization problem to solve with searching algorithms in a batch-wise manner. No real-time speed method for satellite scheduling exists. In this paper, with the idea of building a real-time speed method, satellite scheduling is remodeled based on a Dynamic and Stochastic Knapsack Problem(DSKP), and the objective is to maximize the total expected profit. No existing algorithm could be able to solve this novel scheduling problem properly. With inspiration from the recent achievements in Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL) in video games, AlphaGo and dynamic controlling,a novel DRL-based method is applied to training a neural network to schedule tasks. 8Crystal-plane-dependent redox reaction on Cu surfaces显示文摘The dynamic redox process of surface oxide layers on metal surfaces is of great significance for understanding the active phase in catalytic reactions.We studied the formation of surface oxide layers on Cu(111)and Cu(110)in O2,as well as the subsequent reduction by CO using in situ scanning tunneling microscopy(STM)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).By monitoring and comparing the oxidation process of Cu(111)and Cu(110)surfaces,we found a crystal-plane-dependent reaction mechanism,which also applies to the reduction of surface oxide layers on Cu surfaces.We found XPS Cu spectra cannot be used to identify the various surface oxide layer on Cu surfaces,suggesting their presence in catalytic reactions might have been overlooked.The combination of STM and XPS studies are thus advantageous in identifying surface oxide structures and pinpointing the active phases in the redox process,which paves the way for engineering the catalyst and reaction environment for optimized catalytic performances.Yangsheng Li Hao Chen Weijia Wang Wugen Huang Yanxiao Ning Qingfei Liu Yi Cui Yong Han Zhi Liu Fan Yang Xinhe Bao 2020Nano Research2020,13,6:0
9Noncirrhotic portal hypertension misdiagnosed as liver cirrhosis: A rare case显示文摘To the Editor,Portal hypertension(PH)is defined by a pathological increase in the pressure of the portal venous system,1 with liver cirrhosis as the most common cause.However,some other noncirrhotic diseases might cause PH;a condition referred to as noncirrhotic PH(NCPH).2 NCPH is a rare disease characterized by clinical signs of PH in the absence of cirrhosis,presenting with complications of PH including ascites,splenomegaly,esophagogastric varices,and variceal bleeding.3 Because of the similarities in clinical manifestations and imaging signs,NCPH is easily misdiagnosed as liver cirrhosis and thus raises difficulties in differential diagnosis.Although liver biopsy is still the gold standard for diagnosis,4 extensive workup including laboratory testing,hepatic imaging and liver biopsy is recommended for comprehensive NCPH diagnosis.Lingling Yang Zhen Zhou Wugen Li Liming Xiao Lifang Chen Yingqun Xiao Zhili Wen 2023Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,1:0
10Dynamic chemical processes on ZnO surfaces tuned by physisorption under ambient conditions显示文摘The catalytic properties of non-reducible metal oxides have intrigued continuous interest in the past decades.Often time,catalytic studies of bulk non-reducible oxides focused on their high-temperature applications owing to their weak interaction with small molecules.Hereby,combining ambient-pressure scanning tunneling microscopy(AP-STM),AP X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(AP-XPS)and density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we studied the activation of CO and CO_(2)on ZnO,a typical nonreducible oxide and major catalytic material in the conversion of C1 molecules.By visualizing the chemical processes on ZnO surfaces at the atomic scale under AP conditions,we showed that new adsorbate structures induced by the enhanced physisorption and the concerted interaction of physisorbed molecules could facilitate the activation of CO and CO_(2)on ZnO.The reactivity of ZnO towards CO could be observed under AP conditions,where an ordered(2×1)–CO structure was observed on ZnO(1010).Meanwhile,chemisorption of CO_(2)on ZnO(1010)under AP conditions was also enhanced by physisorbed CO_(2),which minimizes the repulsion between surface dipoles and causes a(3×1)–CO_(2)structure.Our study has brought molecular insight into the fundamental chemistry and catalytic properties of ZnO surfaces under realistic reaction conditions.Yunjian Ling Jie Luo Yihua Ran Yunjun Cao Wugen Huang Jun Cai Zhi Liu Wei-Xue Li Fan Yang Xinhe Bao 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,9:0
11TREFFTZ DIRECT METHOD AND ITS RELATIVE PROBLEMS显示文摘This paper attempts to further extend the so-called Trefftz direct method(TDM), which has been developed and applied to a wide variety of boundary value problems in recent years. In this approach, the complete system of solutions of the partial differential equations is used as weighting functions and a non-singular boundary integral equation is used as the starting formulation. Several relative problems are discussed here. They are the problems of necessary and sufficient conditions for Trefftz-type boundary integral equations: the relationship between the Trefftz method and the variational principle and the infrequently encountered but possible singular problems in the Trefftz method and the treatment in practice.
