3The enhanced negative thermal expansion in less-oxygen-vacancies copper pyrophosphate显示文摘For oxides,controlling the concentration of oxygen vacancy is a useful way to optimize their functional properties.However,when it comes to the field of negative thermal expansion(NTE),much less attention has been paid to the effect of oxygen vacancy on NTE,though oxide-typed NTE materials account for more than 40%of the total NTE materials.Here,we report that the linear coefficient of thermal expansion at 250–350 K of copper pyrophosphate(i.e.,Cu_(2)P_(2)O_(7))can be significantly improved from–13.88 to–36.60 ppm/K when the synthesis temperature is raised from 1073 to 1373 K.The combined study including X-ray absorption near edge structure,neutron powder diffraction,and X-ray diffraction has confirmed the selective vacancies in the O1 site for low-temperature synthesized samples,which suppress both the phase-transition and framework-structure driven NTE simultaneously.Our result proposes a new approach for optimizing the NTE effect of oxides.L.Lu Xie T.Fei Shi J.Chao Lin X.Kai Zhang X.Kang Zhong K.Ke Liu B.Ke Dong Cheng Yang X.Lian Wang T.Jiao Xiong W.Sheng Yan J.Ping Xu H.Can Chen Wen Yin Ming Li Peng Tong W.Hai Song Y.Ping Sun 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,15:1

5The Simultaneous Fractional Dimension of Graph Families显示文摘For a connected graph G with vertex set V,let RG{x,y}={z∈V:dG(x,z)≠dG(y,z)}for any distinct x,y∈V,where dG(u,w)denotes the length of a shortest uw-path in G.For a real-valued function g defined on V,let g(V)=∑s∈V g(s).Let C={G_(1),G_(2),...,G_(k)}be a family of connected graphs having a common vertex set V,where k≥2 and|V|≥3.A real-valued function h:V→[0,1]is a simultaneous resolving function of C if h(RG{x,y})≥1 for any distinct vertices x,y∈V and for every graph G∈C.The simultaneous fractional dimension,Sdf(C),of C is min{h(V):h is a simultaneous resolving function of C}.In this paper,we initiate the study of the simultaneous fractional dimension of a graph family.We obtain max1≤i≤k{dimf(Gi)}≤Sd_(f)(C)≤min{∑k i=1 dimf(Gi),|V|/2},where both bounds are sharp.We characterize C satisfying Sdf(C)=1,examine C satisfying Sdf(C)=|V|/2,and determine Sdf(C)when C is a family of vertex-transitive graphs.We also obtain some results on the simultaneous fractional dimension of a graph and its complement.Cong X.KANG Iztok PETERIN Eunjeong YI 2023Acta Mathematica Sinica,English Series2023,39,8:0
6A Comparison between the Metric Dimension and Zero Forcing Number of Trees and Unicyclic Graphs显示文摘The metric dimension dim(G)of a graph G is the minimum number of vertices such that every vertex of G is uniquely determined by its vector of distances to the chosen vertices.The zero forcing number Z(G)of a graph G is the minimum cardinality of a set S of black vertices(whereas vertices in V(G)\S are colored white)such that V(G)is turned black after finitely many applications of'the color-change rule':a white vertex is converted black if it is the only white neighbor of a black vertex.We show that dim(T)≤Z(T)for a tree T,and that dim(G)≤Z(G)+1 if G is a unicyclic graph;along the way,we characterize trees T attaining dim(T)=Z(T).For a general graph G,we introduce the'cycle rank conjecture'.We conclude with a proof of dim(T)-2≤dim(T+e)≤dim(T)+1 for e∈E(T).Linda EROH Cong X.KANG Eunjeong YI 2017Acta Mathematica Sinica,English Series2017,33,6:0
7Development and Production of Omega-3 Fatty Acids-Enriched Foods is an Important Dietary Strategy to Improve People's Nutritional and Health Status显示文摘Both Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients important for cellular structure and function but cannot be synthesized by the human body and must be obtained from food.These two classes of fatty acids are metabolically and functionally different and antagonistically regulate many physiological and pathological processes.Thus,the relative balance between Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids are critical for good health.However,today’s diet contains too much Omega-6 but too little Omega-3,leading to a severe imbalance with a very high Omega-6/Omega-3 ratio(>10)in most people.Many lines of evidence suggest that this imbalance is a key factor contributing to the development of modern chronic diseases.A growing number of studies ranging from laboratory research to clinical trials have shown that balancing the tissue ratio of Omega-6/Omega-3 fatty acids by increasing tissue levels of Omega-3 fatty acids and/or decreasing the content of Omega-6 fatty acids are very beneficial for the prevention and treatment of many life-threating chronic diseases as well as for health promotion of the general public.Therefore,development and production of foods rich in Omega-3-fatty acids should be considered as a key health program to balance essential fat intake and thereby improve the nutritional and health status of all people.Jing X.KANG 2022粮油食品科技2022,30,3:0
