Climate background of the evolution from Paleolithic to Neolithic cultural transition during the last deglaciation in the middle reaches of the Yellow River显示文摘Shizitan in Jixian County, Shanxi Province, is a site of transitional period from Paleolithic to Neolithic. The dating and the sporopollen analysis show that the middle reaches of the Yellow River where the site is located had been maintaining a steppe environment during 35.1-9.4 kaBP, in which, 35.1-17 kaBP belonged to the last glacial. With cold and dry climate, this period featured a desert steppe environment. In the late of this period, the area had a cold and half-humid steppe environment. The 17.0-11.9 kaBP belonged to the early- and mid-period of the last deglaciation. Mild and half-arid steppe alternates with mild and half-arid steppe, with a small amount of deciduous broadleaf species. During the period of 11.9-10.5 kaBP, cold and dry glacial climate appeared once more, featuring a desert steppe environment. During 10.5-9.4 kaBP, it is mild and half-arid, and later transited toward warm and half-humid. The early phase of this period featured a steppe environment and the later transited into a | Zhengkai Xia Ge Chen Gongwang Zheng Fuyou Chen Junqing Han | 2002 | Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,1: | 6

What can we learn from the tension between PLANCK and BICEP2 data?显示文摘Recently BICEP2 collaboration has announced the detection of the primordial gravitational waves at high confidence level. In light of the results of B-modes power spectrum from BICEP2 and using the basedΛCDM,a constraint on the tensor-to-scalar ratio r=0.20+0.07-0.05(68%C.L.)can be obtained, however, this result is in apparent tension with the limit on standard inflation models from the recent PLANCK measurement,r<0.11(95%C.L.).Herein we review the recent progress on the cosmological studies after BICEP2 and discuss on different ways of reconciling the tension between PLANCK and BICEP2 data.We will discuss possible modifications on the standard cosmological model, such as including the running of scalar spectral index or other cosmological parameters correlated with inflationary cosmological parameters,or tilting the primordial power spectrum at large scales by introducing a cut off which can be predicted by bouncing cosmology. We will also comment on another possibility of generating extra B-modes of CMB polarization, namely by a non-zero polarization rotation angle during its transferring from the last scattering surface. | LI Hong LI MingZhe QIU TaoTao XIA JunQing PIAO YunSong ZHANG XinMin | 2014 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,8: | 2
Band-gap-tailored random laser显示文摘A band-gap-tailored random laser with a wide tunable range and low threshold through infrared radiation is demonstrated. When fluorescent dyes are doped into the liquid crystal and heavily doped chiral agent system,we demonstrate a wavelength tuning random laser instead of a side-band laser, which is caused by the combined effect of multi-scattering of liquid crystal(LC) and band-gap control. Through rotating the infrared absorbing material on the side of the LC cell, an adjustable range for random lasing of 80 nm by infrared light irradiation was observed. | HONGBO Lu JIAN XING CHENG WEI JIANGYING XIA JUNQING SHA YUNSHENG DING GUOBING ZHANG KANG XIE LONGZHEN QIU ZHIJIA Hu | 2018 | Photonics Research2018,6,5: | 1

Multi-objective network optimization combining topology and routing algorithms in multi-layered satellite networks显示文摘In satellite communication studies, the multi-layered satellite network (MLSN) can take advan-tage of both wide coverage and low time delay.Furthermore, the issue of stable networking anddynamic reconstructing methods is still worth ex-ploring. However, current studies rarely involvethe combination of the routing algorithm and thenetwork topology. | Zhuoming LI Huiyun XIA Yu ZHANG Junqing QI Shaohua WU Shushi GU | 2018 | Science China(Information Sciences)2018,61,8: | 0
Seismic energy dispersion compensation by multi-scale morphology显示文摘Seismic energy decays while propagating subsurface, which may reduce the resolution of seismic data. This paper studies the method of seismic energy dispersion compensation which provides the basic principles for multi-scale morphology and the spectrum simulation method. These methods are applied in seismic energy compensation. First of all, the seismic data is decomposed into multiple scales and the effective frequency bandwidth is selectively broadened for some scales by using a spectrum simulation method. In this process, according to the amplitude spectrum of each scale, the best simulation range is selected to simulate the middle and low frequency components to ensure the authenticity of the simulation curve which is calculated by the median method, and the high frequency component is broadened. Finally, these scales are reconstructed with reasonable coefficients, and the compensated seismic data can be obtained. Examples are shown to illustrate the feasibility of the energy compensation method. | Yu Junqing Wang Runqiu Liu Taoran Zhang Zhenglong Wu Jian Jiang Yongyong Sun Lipeng Xia Pei | 2014 | Petroleum Science2014,11,3: | 0
Preparation of Conotoxin MrVIB by Genetic Engineering Technology显示文摘[Objective] The disulfide-rich conotoxin MrVIB was produced by simple and fast genetic engineering method,to find new efficient ways for the synthesis of natural active conotoxins.[Method] Primers of conotoxin gene MrVIB were synthesized to construct expression vectors pET22b(+)/His-Xa-MrVIB and pE T32a/Trx-EK-MrVIB,which were transformed into BL21(DE3)pLysS and expressed under induction by IPTG.Recombinant proteins were purified by affinity chromatography using Ni-NTA agarose column, and the expression of the recombinant proteins was analyzed by Tricine-SDS-PAGE electrophoresis.[Result] The recombinant conotoxins His-Xa-MrVIB and Trx-EK-MrVIB were effectively expressed in E.coli, and purified by one-step affinity chromatography, and the purity of the recombinant conotoxins was greater than 90%.[Conclusion] The conotoxin MrVIB was effectively secreted and expressed by genetic engineering method, which could solve the problems in chemical synthesis of conotoxins including low yield, high cost and difficult purification. | Weiwei GUAN Jie HOU Xia ZHONG Na WEI Junqing ZHANG Bingmiao GAO | 2017 | Agricultural Biotechnology2017,6,4: | 0
Spatial prisoner’s dilemma games with increasing size of the interaction neighborhood on regular lattices显示文摘We studied the evolution of cooperation in the prisoner's dilemma game on a square lattice where the size of the interaction neighborhood is considered. Firstly, the effects of noise and the cost-to-benefit ratio on the maintenance of cooperation were investigated. The results indicate that the cooperation frequency depends on the noise and cost-to-benefit ratio: cooperation reaches a climax as noise increases, but it monotonously decreases and even vanishes with the ratio increasing. Furthermore, we investigated how the size of the interaction neighborhood affects the emergence of cooperation in detail. Our study demonstrates that cooperation is remarkably enhanced by an increase in the size of the interaction neighborhood. However, cooperation died out when the size of the interaction neighborhood became too large since the system was similar to the mean-field system. On this basis, a cluster-forming mechanism acting among cooperators was also explored, and it showed that the moderate range of the neighborhood size is beneficial for forming larger cooperative clusters. Finally, large-scale Monte Carlo simulations were carried out to visualize and interpret these phenomena explicitly. | Wang Juan Xia ChengYi Wang YiLing Ding Shuai Sun JunQing | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,7: | 0
