1Geochemical characteristics and applications of 18α(H)-neohopanes and 17α(H)-diahopanes显示文摘Distributions and geochemical significances of 18α(H)-neohopanes and of 17α(H)-diahopanes in oils from west Xialiaohe depression of the Bohai Bay Basin have been studied. Relative abundance of 18α(H)-neohopanes and of 17α(H)-diahopanes can be effectively used as maturity parameters, in a range of medium-high mature stage, based on consideration on sedimentary-organic facies of source rocks. With a dual geochemical significance of maturity and sedimentary-organic facies, neohopane and diahopane parameters can be well used in oil-source correlation and in petroleum population division. Formation, primary concentration and preservation of precursors of rearranged hopanes are closely related to depositional conditions such as Eh-pH and clays content. 5Boosting wheat functional genomics via an indexed EMS mutant library of KN9204显示文摘A better understanding of wheat functional genomics can improve targeted breeding for better agronomic traits and environmental adaptation.However,the lack of gene-indexed mutants and the low transformation efficiency of wheat limit in-depth gene functional studies and genetic manipulation for breeding.In this study,we created a library for KN9204,a popular wheat variety in northern China,with a reference genome,transcriptome,and epigenome of different tissues,using ethyl methyl sulfonate(EMS)mutagenesis.This library contains a vast developmental diversity of critical tissues and transition stages.Exome capture sequencing of 2090 mutant lines using KN9204 genome-designed probes revealed that 98.79%of coding genes had mutations,and each line had an average of 1383 EMS-type SNPs.We identified new allelic variations for crucial agronomic trait-related genes such as Rht-D1,Q,TaTB1,and WFZP.We tested 100 lines with severemutations in 80 NAC transcription factors(TFs)under drought and salinity stress and identified 13 lines with altered sensitivity.Further analysis of three lines using transcriptome and chromatin accessibility data revealed hundreds of direct NAC targets with altered transcription patterns under salt or drought stress,including SNAC1,DREB2B,CML16,and ZFP182,factors known to respond to abiotic stress.Thus,we have generated and indexed a KN9204 EMS mutant library that can facilitate functional genomics research and offer resources for genetic manipulation of wheat.Dongzhi Wang Yongpeng Li Haojie Wang Yongxin Xu Yiman Yang Yuxin Zhou Zhongxu Chen Yuqing Zhou Lixuan Gui Yi Guo Chunjiang Zhou Wenqiang Tang Shuzhi Zheng Lei Wang Xiulin Guo Yingjun Zhang Fa Cui Xuelei Lin Yuling Jiao Yuehui He Junming Li Fei He Xigang Liu Jun Xiao 2023Plant Communications2023,4,4:0
6A comparative review of the state and advancement of Site-Specific Crop Management in the UK and China显示文摘Precision agriculture, and more specifically Site-Specific Crop Management(SSCM), has been implemented in some form across nearly all agricultural production systems over the past 25 years. Adoption has been greatest in developed agricultural countries. In this review article, the current situation of SSCM adoption and application is investigated from the perspective of a developed(UK) and developing(China) agricultural economy. The current state-of-the art is reviewed with an emphasis on developments in position system technology and satellite-based remote sensing. This is augmented with observations on the differences between the use of SSCM technologies and methodologies in the UK and China and discussion of the opportunities for(and limitations to)increasing SSCM adoption in developing agricultural economies. A particular emphasis is given to the role of socio-demographic factors and the application of responsible research and innovation(RRI) in translating agritechnologies into China and other developing agricultural economies. Several key research and development areas are identified that need to be addressed to facilitate the delivery of SSCM as a holistic service into areas with low precision agriculture(PA) adoption.
