2Research and application of mineral resources assessment by weights of evidence model based on SIG显示文摘Geological data are usually of the characteristics of multi-source, large amount and multi-scale. The construction of Spatial Information Grid overcomes the shortages of personal computers when dealing with geological data. The authors introduce the definition, architecture and flow of mineral resources assessment by weights of evidence model based on Spatial Information Grid (SIG). Meanwhile, a case study on the prediction of copper mineral occurrence in the Middle-Lower Yangtze metallogenic belt is given. 53D Mineral Prospectivity Mapping Based on Deep Metallogenic Prediction Theory:A Case Study of the Lala Copper Mine,Sichuan,China显示文摘With the decrease in surface and shallow ore deposits,mineral exploration has focused on deeply buried ore bodies,and large-scale metallogenic prediction presents new opportunities and challenges.This paper adopts the predictive thinking method in this era of big data combined with specific research on the special exploration and exploitation of deep-earth resources.Four basic theoretical models of large-scale deep mineralization prediction and evaluation are explored:mineral prediction geological model theory,multidisciplinary information correlation theory,mineral regional trend analysis theory,and mineral prediction geological differentiation theory.The main workflow of large-scale deep resource prediction in the digital and information age is summarized,including construction of ore prospecting models of metallogenic systems,multiscale 3 D geological modeling,and 3 D quantitative prediction of deep resources.Taking the Lala copper mine in Sichuan Province as an example,this paper carries out deep 3 D quantitative prediction of mineral resources and makes a positive contribution to the future prediction and evaluation of mineral resources.Keyan Xiao Jie Xiang Mingjing Fan Yang Xu 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,2:2
6Quantitative prediction and evaluation of geothermal resource areas in the southwest section of the Mid-Spine Belt of Beautiful China显示文摘The geothermal resources in the southwest section of the Mid-Spine Belt of Beautiful China are abundant,but the quantitative prediction and evaluation of geothermal resources are very difficult. Based on geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) platforms,six impact factors,namely land surface temperature,fault density,Gutenberg–Liszt B value,formation combination entropy,distance to river and aeromagnetic anomaly were selected. Through the establishment of the certainty factor model (CF),weights of the information entropy certainty factor model (ICF) and weights of the evidence certainty factor model (ECF),the geothermal potential in the study area were predicted quantitatively. Based on the ECF results,the six main geothermal resource areas were delineated. The results show that (1) ECF had high prediction accuracy (success index is 0.00405%,area ratio is 0.867);(2) The geothermal resource areas obtained were Ganzi–Ya’an–Liangshan,Panzhihua–Liangshan,Dali–Chuxiong,Nujiang–Baoshan,Diqing–Dali,and Lijiang–Diqing. 7The Grade-Tonnage Model for China's Molybdenum Deposits显示文摘The authors have studied the statistical characteristics of China's molybdenum deposits to establish the grade-tonnage model based on the data updated to the end of 2010. The results showed that each type of China's molybdenum deposits complied with Lasky's law approximately and the characteristics of grade-tonnage model obey the lognormal distribution. However, there are poor correlations between grade and tonnage respectively. 12Uncertainty Visualisation of a 3D Geological Geometry Model and Its Application in GIS-Based Mineral Resource Assessment:A Case Study in Huayuan District,Northwestern Hunan Province,China显示文摘This paper reports an application of uncertainty visualisation of a regional scale(1:50000)3 D geological geometry model to be involved in GIS-based 3 D mineral potential assessment of the Xiangxibei lead-zinc mineral concentration area in northwestern Hunan District,China.Three-dimensional(3 D)geological modelling is a process of interpretation that combines a set of input measurements in geometry.Today,technology has become a necessary part of GIS-based deep prospecting.However,issues of sparse data and imperfect understanding exist in the process so that there are several uncertainties in 3 D geological modelling.And these uncertainties are inevitably transmitted into the post-processing applications,such as model-based mineral resource assessment.Thus,in this paper,first,a big-data-based method was used to estimate the uncertainty of a 3 D geological model;second,a group of expectations of geological geometry uncertainty were calculated and integrated into ore-bearing stratoisohypse modelling,which is one of the major favourable parameters of assessment for Lead-Zinc(Pb-Zn)deep prospectivity mapping in northwestern Hunan;and finally,prospecting targets were improved.Nan Li Cangbai Li Wenkai Chu Keyan Xiao Weihan Tao Xianglong Song Rui Cao Yang Xu Mingjing Fan 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,2:1

16Gene cloning,protein expression,and enzymatic characterization of a double-stranded RNA degrading enzyme in Apolygus lucorum显示文摘RNA interference(RNAi)is a powerful tool that post-transcriptionally silences target genes in eukaryotic cells.However,silencing efficacy varies greatly among different insect species.Recently,we met with little success when attempting to knock down genes in the mirid bug Apolygus lucorum via dsRNA injection.The disappearance of double-stranded RNA(dsRNA)could be a potential factor that restricts RNAi efficiency.Here,we found that dsRNA can be degraded in midgut fluids,and a dsRNase of A.lucorum(AldsRNase)was identified and characterized.Sequence alignment indicated that its 6 key amino acid residues and the Mg2+-binding site were similar to those of other insects’dsRNases.The signal peptide and endonuclease non-specific domain shared high sequence identity with the brown-winged green stinkbug Plautia stali dsRNase.AldsRNase showed high salivary gland and midgut expression and was continuously expressed through the whole life cycle,with peaks at the 4th instar ecdysis in the whole body.The purified AldsRNase protein obtained by heterologously expressed can rapidly degrade dsRNA.When comparing the substrate specificity of AldsRNase,3 specific substrates(dsRNA,small interfering RNA,and dsDNA)were all degraded,and the most efficient degradation is dsRNA.Subsequently,immunofluorescence revealed that AldsRNase was expressed in the cytoplasm of midgut cells.Through cloning and functional study of AldsRNase,the enzyme activity and substrate specificity of the recombinant protein,as well as the subcellular localization of nuclease,the reason for the disappearance of dsRNA was explained,which was useful in improving RNAi efficiency in A.lucorum and related species.Jie-Yu Zhang Jing Zhao Keyan Zhu-Salzman Qin-Qin Ji Yi-Ping Jiang Liu-Bin Xiao De-Jin Xu Guang-Chun Xu Lin-Quan Ge Yong-An Tan 2024Insect Science2024,31,1:0
17TO–YOLOX: a pure CNN tiny object detection model for remotesensing images显示文摘Remote sensing and deep learning are being widely combined in tasks such as urban planning and disaster prevention.However,due to interference occasioned by density,overlap,and coverage,the tiny object detection in remote sensing images has always been a difficult problem.Therefore,we propose a novel TO–YOLOX(Tiny Object–You Only Look Once)model.TO–YOLOX possesses a MiSo(Multiple-in-Singleout)feature fusion structure,which exhibits a spatial-shift structure,and the model balances positive and negative samples and enhances the information interaction pertaining to the local patch of remote sensing images.TO–YOLOX utilizes an adaptive IOU-T(Intersection Over Uni-Tiny)loss to enhance the localization accuracy of tiny objects,and it applies attention mechanism Group-CBAM(group-convolutional block attention module)to enhance the perception of tiny objects in remote sensing images.To verify the effectiveness and efficiency of TO–YOLOX,we utilized three aerial-photography tiny object detection datasets,namely VisDrone2021,Tiny Person,and DOTA–HBB,and the following mean average precision(mAP)values were recorded,respectively:45.31%(+10.03%),28.9%(+9.36%),and 63.02%(+9.62%).With respect to recognizing tiny objects,TO–YOLOX exhibits a stronger ability compared with Faster R-CNN,RetinaNet,YOLOv5,YOLOv6,YOLOv7,and YOLOX,and the proposed model exhibits fast computation.Zhe Chen Yuan Liang Zhengbo Yu Ke Xu Qingyun Ji Xueqi Zhang Quanping Zhang Zijia Cui Ziqiong He Ruichun Chang Zhongchang Sun Keyan Xiao Huadong Guo 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
18Single-element Anomaly Mapping from Stream Sediment Geochemical Landscapes Aided by Digital Terrain Analysis显示文摘The identification of anomalies within stream sediment geochemical data is one of the fastest developing areas in mineral exploration.The various means used to achieve this objective make use of either continuous or discrete field models of stream sediment geochemical data.To map anomalies in a discrete field model of such data,two corrections are required:background correction and downstream dilution correction.Topography and geomorphology are important factors in variations of element content in stream sediments.However,few studies have considered,through the use of digital terrain analysis,the influence of geomorphic features in downstream dilution correction of stream sediment geochemical data.This study proposes and demonstrates an improvement to the traditional downstream dilution correction equation,based on the use of digital terrain analysis to map single-element anomalies in stream sediment geochemical landscapes.Moreover,this study compares the results of analyses using discrete and continuous field models of stream sediment geochemical data from the Xincang area,Tibet.The efficiency of the proposed methodology was validated against known mineral occurrences.The results indicate that catchment-based analysis outperforms interpolation-based analysis of stream sediment geochemical data for anomaly mapping.Meanwhile,the proposed modified downstream dilution correction equation proved more effective than the original equation.However,further testing of this modified downstream dilution correction is needed in other areas,in order to investigate its efficiency further.XIANG Jie XIA Peng XIAO Keyan Emmanuel John M.CARRANZA CHEN Jianping 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,1:0
