| 1 | Correlation between cold and hot pattern in traditional Chinese medicine and gene expression profiles in rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Clinical manifestations of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)are diversified, and based on the manifestations, the patients with RA could be classified into different patterns under traditional Chinese medicine. These patterns decide the selection of herbal prescription, and thus they can help find a subset of rheumatoid arthritis patients for a type of therapy. In the present study,we combine genome-wide expression analysis with methods of systems biology to identify the functional gene networks for the sets of clinical symptoms that comprise the major information for pattern classification.Clinical manifestations in rheumatoid arthritis were clustered with factor analysis, and two factors(similar to cold and hot patterns in traditional Chinese medicine)were found.Microarray technology was used to reveal gene expression profiles in CD4^(+)T cells from 21 rheumatoid arthritis patients.Protein-protein interaction information for these genes from databases and literature data was searched. The highly-connected regions were detected to infer significant complexes or pathways in this protein-protein interaction network. The significant pathways and function were extracted from these subnetworks using the Biological Network Gene Ontology tool. The genes significantly related to hot and cold patterns were identified by correlations analysis.MAPK signalling pathway,Wnt signaling pathway, and insulin signaling pathway were found to be related to hot pattern.Purine metabolism was related to both hot and cold patterns.Alanine, aspartate, and tyrosine metabolism were related to cold pattern, and histindine metabolism and lysine degradation were related to hot pattern. The results suggest that cold and hot patterns in traditional Chinese medicine were related to different pathways, and the network analysis might be used for identifying the pattern classification in other diseases. | Miao Jiang Cheng Xiao Gao Chen Cheng Lu Qinglin Zha Xiaoping Yan Weiping Kong Shijie Xu Dahong Ju Pu Xu Youwen Zou Aiping Lu | 2011 | Frontiers of Medicine2011,5,2: | 2 |

| 3 | A Block Parallel l_0-Norm Penalized Shrinkage and Widely Linear Affine Projection Algorithm for Adaptive Filter显示文摘To improve the identification capability of AP algorithm in time-varying sparse system, we propose a block parallel l_0-SWL-DCD-AP algorithm in this paper. In the proposed algorithm, we first introduce the l_0-norm constraint to promote its application for sparse system. Second, we use the shrinkage denoising method to improve its track ability. Third, we adopt the widely linear processing to take advantage of the non-circular properties of communication signals. Last, to reduce the high computational complexity and make it easy to implemented, we utilize the dichotomous coordinate descent(DCD) iterations and the parallel processing to deal with the tapweight update in the proposed algorithm. To verify the convergence condition of the proposed algorithm, we also analyze its steadystate behavior. Several simulation are done and results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve a faster convergence speed and a lower steady-state misalignment than similar APA-type algorithm. When apply the proposed algorithm in the decision feedback equalizer(DFE), the bite error rate(BER) decreases obviously. | Youwen Zhang Shuang Xiao Lu Liu Dajun Sun | 2017 | China Communications2017,14,1: | 1 |

| 5 | Percolation-induced resistivity drop in lutetium dihydride with controllable electrical conductivity over six orders of magnitude显示文摘The recent report of near-ambient superconductivity in the nitrogen-doped lutetium hydride has attracted considerable attention.Subsequent follow-up studies confirmed the pressure-induced color changes in both N-free and N-doped LuH_(2) but failed to reproduce superconductivity. It remains a puzzle why the samples in the original report exhibited pronounced resistance anomaly reminiscent of the superconducting transition. Here, we show that percolation of metallic grains with high conductivity through the insulating surfaces in cold-pressed LuH_(2) samples can occasionally produce sharp resistance drops, which even display magnetic field and/or current dependences but stay far from zero resistance. The insulating surface of LuH2grain should be attributed to the modification of hydrogen stoichiometry or the contamination by oxygen/nitrogen, resulting in an increase of resistance by over six orders of magnitude. Such an effect is more significant than that discovered recently in LaH_(3±x), which may indicate that LuH_(2) can be a potential superionic conductor. Our results call for caution in asserting the resistivity drops as superconductivity and invalidate the background subtraction in analyzing the corresponding resistance data. | Ningning Wang Jun Hou Ziyi Liu Tenglong Lu Pengfei Shan Congcong Chai Shifeng Jin Liang Ma Lifen Shi Xiao Wang Youwen Long Yue Liu Hua Zhang Xiaoli Dong Sheng Meng Miao Liu Jinguang Cheng | 2023 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,9: | 0 |
| 6 | 间隙连接蛋白connexin43在膀胱移行细胞癌组织中的表达及其与Bcl-2、Bax表达的相关性(英文)显示文摘Objective: To study the expression of connexin43 (Cx43) gene and its correlation with the apoptosis related genes Bcl-2 and Bax in transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder (BTCC), and to investigate the role of Cx43 in the BTCC. Methods: Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the expression of Cx43 mRNA and immunocytochemistry technique was used to detect the expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins in 60 cases of BTCC tissues, and compared with that of 15 cases of pericancerous tissues and 15 cases of normal bladder tissues. Results: The positive expression rate of Cx43 mRNA in 60 cases of BTCC tissues was 43.33% which was significantly lower than that in pericancerous tissues (73.33%) and normal tissues (100%) (χ2 = 17.58, P < 0.01). The expression of Cx43 had significant negative correlation with the pathological degree and lymph node metastasis of BTCC (χ2 = 9.33 and 9.74, respectively, P < 0.01). However, no correlation was found between the expression and patient sex, age, clinical staging and diameter and growth pattern of BTCC (P > 0.05). Expression of Cx43 negatively correlated with Bcl-2 protein (r = -0.63, P < 0.01) and positively correlated with Bax protein (r = 0.52, P < 0.01). Conclusion: The down-regulated expression of Cx43 gene was closely associated with the development, invasion and metastasis of BTCC. It could be used as a prognostic indicator for BTCC. Cx43 gene may have antagonistic effects with Bcl-2 gene and synergic with Bax gene in the initiation and progression of BTCC. | Zhengguo Cao Youwen Sun Ling Oi Longchang Fan Jun Xiao Linyu Zhou Yuping Zhu | 2007 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2007,6,6: | 0 |
