1Fe_3O_4@C nanoparticles as high-performance Fenton-like catalyst for dye decoloration显示文摘Water pollution has become serious environmental problem nowadays. Advanced oxidation processes(AOP) have been widely applied in water treatment.However, traditional Fenton reaction based on Fe2﹢-H2O2 system has obvious drawbacks, which limit its applications In this study, magnetic Fe3O4core-C shell nanoparticles(Fe3O4@C NPs) were prepared for the decoloration of methylene blue(MB) via the co-precipitation followed by the hydrothermal dehydrogenation of glucose. Fe3O4@C NPs showed high catalytic activity of the decoloration of MB through the decomposition of H2O2 in Fenton-like reactions. Fe3O4@C NPs had much higher activity than bare Fe3O4 cores, suggesting the coating of carbon enhanced the catalytic activity. The performance of Fe3O4@C NPs was better at lower pH and higher temperature, but was significantly inhibited in the presence of radical scavenger tertiary butanol. Fe3O4@C NPs could be magnetic separated and regenerated, and maintained with very good catalytic activity. 2Comparative Study on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Mg-Li-Al Based Alloys with Yttrium and Strontium Addition显示文摘The effects of yttrium and strontium on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-11Li-3Al magnesium alloy(LA113) are compared and analyzed. Microstructures and phases of the alloys were studied with optical microscope(OM), scanning electron microscope(SEM), X-ray diffractometer(XRD) and energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS). Mechanical properties of alloys were measured with tensile tester. The results show that yttrium and/or strontium additions produce a strong grain refi ning effect in LA113 alloy. Al2 Y and Al4 Sr, etc. phases with different morphologies are verifi ed and exist inside the grain or at the grain boundaries, which directly impact on the mechanical properties of LA113 alloy. 9Controlling the surface buckling wrinkles by patterning the material system of hard-nano-film/soft-matter-substrate显示文摘Wrinkling and buckling of nano-films on the compliant substrate are always induced due to thermal deformation mismatch.This paper proposes effective means to control the surface wrinkling of thin film on the compliant substrate,which exploits the curvatures of the curve cracks designed on the stiff film.The procedures of the method are summarized as:1)curve patterns are fabricated on the surface of PDMS(Polydimethylsiloxane)substrate and then the aluminum film with the thickness of several hundred nano-meters is deposited on the substrate;2)the curve patterns are transferred onto the aluminum film and lead to cracking of the film along the curves.The cracking redistributes the stress in the compressed film on the substrate;3)on the concave side of the curve,the wrinkling of the film surface is suppressed to be identified as shielding effect and on the convex side the wrinkling of the film surface is induced to be identified as inductive effect.The shielding and inductive effects make the dis-ordered wrinkling and buckling controllable.This phenomenon provides a potential application in the fabrication of flexible electronic devices.WU Dan YIN YaJun XIE HuiMin SHANG YuanFang LI ChuanWei WU LiFu DAI XiangLu 2014Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,4:0
