| 2 | Improvement of Heating Method for Measuring the Wetness of Flowing Wet Steam显示文摘In this paper, an improvement of heating method for measuring wetness of the flowing wet steam is developed, the basic principle of the heating method is presented and the mathematical model has been built for analyzing the thermodynamics problezns during the process of heating. Moreover, an instru-ment for measuring wetness of wet steam flow was designed and made out. This instrument has been used for measuring wetness of the wet steam flow at the outlet of the nozzle rig in Thermal TUrbine Laboratory Xi’an Jiaotong University. | 8 | Benefit-based cost allocation for residentially distributed photovoltaic systems in China:A cooperative game theory approach显示文摘Distributed photovoltaic(PV)systems have constantly been the key to achieve a low-carbon economy in China.However,the development of Chinese distributed PV systems has failed to meet expectations because of their irrational profit and cost allocations.In this study,the methodology for calculating the levelized cost of energy(LCOE)for PV is thoroughly discussed to address this issue.A mixed-integer linear programming model is built to determine the optimal system operation strategy with a benefit analysis.An externality-corrected mathematical model based on Shapley value is established to allocate the cost of distributed PV systems in 15 Chinese cities between the government,utility grid and residents.Results show that(i)an inverse relationship exists between the LCOEs and solar radiation levels;(ii)the government and residents gain extra benefits from the utility grid through net metering policies,and the utility grid should be the highly subsidized participant;(iii)the percentage of cost assigned to the utility grid and government should increase with the expansion of battery bank to weaken the impact of demand response on increasing theoretical subsidies;and(iv)apart from the LCOE,the local residential electricity prices remarkably impact the subsidy calculation results. | Xi LUO Xiaojun LIU Yanfeng LIU Jiaping LIU Yaxing WANG | 2021 | Frontiers of Engineering Management2021,8,2: | 0 |
| 9 | 3D bioprinting of in vitro porous hepatoma models:establishment,evaluation,and anticancer drug testing显示文摘Traditional tumor models do not tend to accurately simulate tumor growth in vitro or enable personalized treatment and are particularly unable to discover more beneficial targeted drugs.To address this,this study describes the use of threedimensional(3D)bioprinting technology to construct a 3D model with human hepatocarcinoma SMMC-7721 cells(3DP-7721)by combining gelatin methacrylate(GelMA)and poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)as two immiscible aqueous phases to form a bioink and innovatively applying fluorescent carbon quantum dots for long-term tracking of cells.The GelMA(10%,mass fraction)and PEO(1.6%,mass fraction)hydrogel with 3:1 volume ratio offered distinct pore-forming characteristics,satisfactorymechanical properties,and biocompatibility for the creation of the 3DP-7721 model.Immunofluorescence analysis and quantitative real-time fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(PCR)were used to evaluate the biological properties of the model.Compared with the two-dimensional culture cell model(2D-7721)and the 3D mixed culture cell model(3DM-7721),3DP-7721 significantly improved the proliferation of cells and expression of tumor-related proteins and genes.Moreover,we evaluated the differences between the three culture models and the effectiveness of antitumor drugs in the three models and discovered that the efficacy of antitumor drugs varied because of significant differences in resistance proteins and genes between the three models.In addition,the comparison of tumor formation in the three models found that the cells cultured by the 3DP-7721 model had strong tumorigenicity in nude mice.Immunohistochemical evaluation of the levels of biochemical indicators related to the formation of solid tumors showed that the 3DP-7721 model group exhibited pathological characteristics of malignant tumors,the generated solid tumors were similar to actual tumors,and the deterioration was higher.This research therefore acts as a foundation for the application of 3DP-7721 models in drug development research. | Xiaoyuan Wang Zixian Liu Qianqian Duan Boye Zhang Yanyan Cao Zhizhong Shen Meng Li Yanfeng Xi Jianming Wang Shengbo Sang | 2024 | Bio-Design and Manufacturing2024,7,2: | 0 |
| 10 | Lynch syndrome pre-screening and comprehensive characterization in a multi-center large cohort of Chinese patients with colorectal cancer显示文摘Objective:Lynch syndrome(LS)pre-screening methods remain under-investigated in colorectal cancers(CRCs)in Asia.Here,we aimed to systematically investigate LS pre-screening and comprehensively characterize LS CRCs.Methods:Microsatellite instability(MSI)and germline variants of DNA mismatch repair(MMR)genes were examined in 406 deficient MMR(dMMR)and 250 proficient MMR CRCs.The genetic differences between LS and sporadic CRCs were studied with whole exome sequencing analysis.Results:The incidence of dMMR in Chinese patients with CRCs was 13.8%.Consistency analysis between MMR immunohistochemistry(IHC)and MSI testing showed the kappa value was 0.758.With next-generation sequencing(NGS),germline variants were detected in 154 CRCs.Finally,88 patients with CRC were identified as having LS by Sanger sequencing.Among them,we discovered 21 previously unreported pathogenic germline variants of MMR genes.Chinese patients with LS,compared with sporadic CRCs,tended to be early-onset,right-sided,early-stage and mucinous.Overall,the performance of MMR IHC and MSI testing for LS pre-screening was comparable:the area under the ROC curve for dMMR,MSI-H,and MSI-H/L was 0.725,0.750,and 0.745,respectively.dMMR_MSI-H LS and sporadic CRCs showed substantial differences in somatic genetic characteristics,including different variant frequencies of APC,CREBBP,and KRAS,as well as different enriched pathways of VEGF,Notch,TGFβR,mTOR,ErbB,and Rac protein signal transduction.Conclusions:MMR IHC and MSI testing were effective methods for LS pre-screening.The revealed clinical and somatic genetic characteristics in LS CRCs may have the potential to improve the performance of LS pre-screening in combination with dMMR/MSI. | Yan Li Lihong Fan Jianming Zheng Xiu Nie Yu Sun Qin Feng Shenyi Lian Wenqi Bai Weijing Cai Yanan Yang Bo Su Yanfeng Xi Dongmei Lin | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,8: | 0 |

| 16 | Multi-objective optimization of equipment capacity and heating network design for a centralized solar district heating system显示文摘Northwest China has abundant solar energy resources and a large demand for winter heating.Using solar energy for centralized heating is a clean and effective way to solve local heating problems.While present studies usually decoupled solar heating stations and the heating network in the optimization design of centralized solar heating systems,this study developed a joint multi-objective optimization model for the equipment capacity and the diameters of the heating network pipes of a centralized solar district heating system,using minimum total life cycle cost and CO_(2)emission of the system as the optimization objectives.Three typical cities in northwest China with different solar resource conditions(Lhasa,Xining,and Xi'an)were selected as cases for analysis.According to the results,the solar heating system designed using the method proposed in this study presents lower economic cost and higher environmental protection in comparison to separately optimizing the design of the solar heating station and the heating network.Furthermore,the solar fraction of the optimal systems are 90%,70%,and 31%for Lhasa,Xining,and Xi'an,and the minimum water supply temperatures are 55℃,50℃,and 65℃for an optimal economy and 55℃,45℃,and 45℃for optimal environmental protection,respectively.It was also established that the solar collector price has a greater impact on the equipment capacity of the solar heating station than the gas boiler price. | Yanfeng Liu Ting Mu Xi Luo | 2023 | Building Simulation2023,16,1: | 0 |
