| 1 | A TiO_(2)nanotubes film with excellent antireflective and near-perfect self-cleaning performances显示文摘SiO_(2)/TiO_(2)composite films have been frequently used to realize the functions of self-cleaning and antireflection.Increasing the TiO_(2)volume ratio in SiO_(2)/TiO_(2)composite film is beneficial to enhance the self-cleaning effect,while high TiO_(2)content leads to a strong Rayleigh scattering and depresses the antireflective performance,resulting in a bottleneck problem for the dual-functional application.Here,we have achieved a high-quality TiO_(2)nanotubes film with excellent antireflective and near-perfect selfcleaning performances.Ultrasound assisted pickling method has been developed to effectively prepare the well-dispersed protonated titanate nanotubes colloid.After spin-coating and annealing treatment,glass substrate coated with double-side TiO_(2)nanotubes film has a peak transmittance of 99.2%and average transmittance of 97.4%at 400-800 nm.Ultra-high porosity of TiO_(2)nanotubes film(80%)and ultra-fine size of TiO_(2)nanotubes(8.6 nm in outer diameter)lead to excellent antireflective performance.With high UV absorptivity(80%at 254 nm)and formal quantum efficiency of stearic acid(10.9×10^(-3)),TiO_(2)nanotubes film shows near-perfect self-cleaning performance.A persistent anti-fogging ability is also presented.This study demonstrates the feasibility to fabricate pure TiO_(2)antireflective coating for glass substrate,extends application field of the classic TiO_(2)nanotubes,and sheds lights on the practical applications of high-powered TiO_(2)nanotube-based multi-functional films. | Kaibin Li Ming Li Chang Xu Zengyan Du Jiawang Chen Fengxia Zou Chongwen Zou Sichao Xu Guanghai Li | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,29: | 3 |
| 2 | Enhanced simultaneous absorption of NO_(x) and SO_(2) in oxidation-reduction-absorption process with a compounded system based on Na_(2)SO_(3)显示文摘Oxidation of sulfite and competitive absorption existed in Na_(2)SO_(3) solution for simultaneous removal of NO_(x) and SO_(2),inhibited the long-term high-efficiency when used for practical applications.A matching strategy was developed to solve these problems.Antioxidants combination was used to retard the oxidation of antioxidant and enhance inhibition of S(IV)(tetravalent sulfur)oxidation.Hydroquinone(HQ)and sodium thiosulfate(ST)showed a positive synergistic effect on inhibition of S(IV)oxidation.When SO_(2) concentration was 500 and 2000 ppmV,the addition of 0.1 wt.%HQ and 1 wt.%ST decreased the percentage of S(IV)oxidized by oxygen by over 30%and 40%,respectively.Alkali(Na_(2)CO_(3))alleviated the competitive absorption between NO_(x) and SO_(2).Moreover,Na_(2)CO_(3) exhibited an enhancement effect on the absorption of NO_(x) and SO_(2) when coupled with anti-oxidants.While the increase of oxygen pressure accelerated the oxidation of S(IV),the anti-oxidants can retard the oxidation.The measurement of pH suggested the removal efficiency of NO_(x) highly depended on SO_(3)^(2-) concentration rather than pH.The further investigation of the mechanism suggested the match effect was related to the interaction between ST and the intermediate product of HQ.The match strategy holds a potential for application of SO_(3)^(2-) to denitration. | Sichao Li Wenjun Huang Haomiao Xu Kai Liu Jia-nan Wang Yaning Sun Zan Qu Naiqiang Yan | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,1: | 2 |

| 10 | Modified intratympanic steroid therapy for sudden sensorineural hearing loss via tympanic tube and gelfoam as a salvage treatment显示文摘Background: Sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSNHL) is a prevalent emergency in ear, nose, and throat practice. Previous studies have demonstrated that intratympanic steroid therapy(IST) can serve as a salvage treatment for SSNHL after the failure of systemic steroid therapy(SST).Objective: This study aimed to analyze the efficacy of modified IST involving the insertion of a tympanic tube and gelfoam as a salvage treatment for patients with SSNHL, and to explore its associated factors.Methods: Totally, 74 patients who were aged 22–81 years with SSNHL were enrolled and allocated to either the control group(n = 25) or the treatment group(n = 49) based on their treatment modalities. All patients received SST lasting for at least 7 days. Subsequently, patients in the treatment group, after SST failure, underwent IST twice a week for 2–6 weeks, while the control group did not. Efficacy was assessed by the improvement in pure tone average at the affected frequency at the beginning and end of IST.Results: Hearing improvement in all patients after IST in the treatment group was 9.71 ± 14.84 dB, with significant improvement at affected frequencies(250-8000 Hz) compared with the control group(P < 0.05). The findings indicated the duration from the onset of SSNHL to the beginning of IST as an independent factor for pure tone average improvement after treatment(P = 0.002), whereas age, duration of SST, and time of IST were not(P > 0.05).Conclusion: The modified IST was demonstrated to be a safe and effective method as a salvage treatment for SSNHL. This study explored the efficacy of a modified IST approach, incorporating the utilization of tympanic tubes and gelfoam as key components. The findings underscore the advantages of gelfoam as a strategic drug carrier placed in the round window niche.
