1Sensors deployment optimization in multi-dimensional space based on improved particle swarm optimization algorithm显示文摘Sensors deployment optimization has become one of the most attractive fields in recent years. However, most of the previous work focused on the deployment problem in 2 D space.Compared to the traditional form, sensors deployment in multidimensional space has greater research significance and practical potential to satisfy the detecting needs in complex environment.Aiming at solving this issue, a multi-dimensional space sensor network model is established, and the radar system is selected as an example. Considering the possible working mode of the radar system(e.g., searching and tracking), two distinctive deployment models are proposed based on maximum coverage area and maximum target detection probability in the attack direction respectively. The latter one is usually ignored in the previous literature.For uncovering the optimal deployment of the sensor network, the particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm is improved using the proposed weights determination scheme, in which the linear decreasing, the pooling strategy and the cloud theory are combined for weights updating. 2Relationship between nitrogen deposition and LUCC and its impact on terrestrial ecosystem carbon budgets in China显示文摘Increased nitrogen(N) deposition and land-use and land-cover change(LUCC) have influenced the terrestrial ecosystem carbon budget in China over the past few decades.However,the coupling effects of N deposition and LUCC on the carbon cycle remain unclear.This study first evaluated the effects of LUCC on N deposition based on estimated N deposition data from NO_2 column remote sensing data and the GlobeLand30 LUCC dataset,and then assessed the coupling effects of N deposition and LUCC on carbon budgets in China based on a terrestrial ecosystem process-based model.The results showed that the average rate of increase in N deposition in China was 0.35 Tg N yr^(-1)(Tg = 10^(12) g),which caused net primary production(NPP) and net ecosystem production(NEP) to rise by 92.2 Tg C yr^(-1) and 46.9 Tg C yr^(-1),respectively.The effects of LUCC reduced N deposition by 0.21 GgNyr^(-1)(Gg= 10~9g).The land changed from forest to cropland had the greatest rate of increase in N deposition among all types of land-cover change.Changes from cropland to forest slowed the rate of N deposition increase the most.Generally,the change in N deposition resulting from LUCC reduced NPP and NEP by 0.7 and 0.4 Gg C yr^(-1),respectively.Compared with the total effects of N deposition on NPP and NEP,N deposition changes caused by LUCC had a limited aggregate effect on the C budget.LU XueHe JIANG Hong ZHANG XiuYing JIN JiaXin 2016Science China(Information Sciences)2016,59,12:4
3Road Pricing Design Based on Game Theory and Multi-agent Consensus显示文摘Consensus theory and noncooperative game theory respectively deal with cooperative and noncooperative interactions among multiple players/agents. They provide a natural framework for road pricing design, since each motorist may myopically optimize his or her own utility as a function of road price and collectively communicate with his or her friends and neighbors on traffic situation at the same time. This paper considers the road pricing design by using game theory and consensus theory. For the case where a system supervisor broadcasts information on the overall system to each agent, we present a variant of standard fictitious play called average strategy fictitious play(ASFP) for large-scale repeated congestion games.Only a weighted running average of all other players actions is assumed to be available to each player. The ASFP reduces the burden of both information gathering and information processing for each player. Compared to the joint strategy fictitious play(JSFP) studied in the literature, the updating process of utility functions for each player is avoided. We prove that there exists at least one pure strategy Nash equilibrium for the congestion game under investigation, and the players actions generated by the ASFP with inertia(players reluctance to change their previous actions) converge to a Nash equilibrium almost surely. For the case without broadcasting, a consensus protocol is introduced for individual agents to estimate the percentage of players choosing each resource, and the convergence property of players action profile is still ensured. The results are applied to road pricing design to achieve socially local optimal trip timing. 4Improvement of ecological geographic regionalization based on remote sensing and canonical correspondence analysis: A case study in China显示文摘Ecological geographic regions, also called eco-regions, can be used to divide a remotely sensed image, which is helpful for reducing the complexity of land cover types within eco-regions and for improving the classification accuracy of land cover. In this case study in China, we improved a method of ecological geographic regionalization that is more suitable for remote sensing mapping of regional land cover, and we obtained new eco-regions. The canonical correspondence analysis(CCA) and k-means clustering were adopted in the ecological geographic regionalization using both seasonal remotely-sensed vegetation information and environmental data including climate, elevation and soil features. Our results show that the combination of seasonal vegetation information and the CCA performed well in the selection of the dominant environmental factor of the biogeographic pattern, and it can be used as regionalization indicators of eco-regions. We found that thermal factors are the most important driving forces of the biogeographic pattern in China, which followed by moisture factors. Two global land cover products(MODIS MCD12C1 and Glob Cover) were used to assess our eco-regions. The results show that our eco-regions performed better than that of a previous study regarding the complexity of land cover types, such as in the number of types and the proportional area of the major/secondary type. 17Regulation of actin cytoskeleton via photolithographic micropatterning显示文摘Actin cytoskeleton plays crucial roles in various cellular functions.Extracellular matrix(ECM)can modulate cell morphology by remodeling the internal cytoskeleton.To define how geometry of ECM regulates the organization of actin cytoskeleton,we plated individual NIH 3T3 cells on micropatterned substrates with distinct shapes and sizes.It was found that the stress fibers could form along the nonadhesive edges of T-shaped pattern,but were absent from the opening edge of V-shaped pattern,indicating that the organization of actin cytoskeleton was dependent on the mechanical environment.Furthermore,a secondary actin ring was observed on 50μm circular pattern while did not appear on 30μm and 40μm pattern,showing a size-dependent organization of actin cytoskeleton.Finally,osteoblasts,MDCK and A549 cells exhibited distinct organization of actin cytoskeleton on T-shaped pattern,suggesting a cell-type specificity in arrangement of actin cytoskeleton.Together,our findings brought novel insight into the organization of actin cytoskeleton on micropatterned environments.Fulin Xing Haimei Zhang Mengyu Li Hao Dong Xuehe Ma Shiyu Deng Fen Hu Imshik Lee Leiting Pan Jingjun Xu 2023Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,2:1

19Effect of longitudinal lift distribution on sonic boom of a canard-wing-stabilator-body configuration显示文摘After the last flight of the Concorde in 2003,sonic boom has been one of the obstacles to the return of a supersonic transport aircraft to service.To reduce the sonic boom intensity to an acceptable level,it is of great significance to study the effect of lift distribution on far-field sonic boom,since lift is one of the most important contributors to an intense sonic boom.Existing studies on the longitudinal lift distribution used low-fidelity methods,such as Whitham theory,and in turn,only preliminary conclusions were obtained,such as that extending the lift distribution can reduce sonic boom.This paper uses a newly developed high-fidelity prediction method to quantitatively study the effect of longitudinal lift distribution on the sonic boom of a Canard-Wing-Stabilator-Body(CWSB)configuration.This high-fidelity prediction method combines near-feld CFD simulation with far-field propagation by solving the augmented Burgers equation.A multipole analysis method is employed for the extraction of near-field waveform in order to reduce computational cost.Seven configurations with the same total lift but different distributions are studied,and the quantitative relationship between the longitudinal lift distribution and far-field sonic boom intensity is investigated.It is observed that a small lift generated by the stabilator can prevent aft-stabilator and aft-fuselage shocks from merging,while the balanced lift generated by the canard and wing can effectively keep the corresponding shocks further apart,which is beneficial for reducing both the on-track and off-track sonic boom.In turn,the acoustic level perceived at the ground can be reduced by 5.9 PLdB on-track and 5.4 PLdB off-track,on average.Liwen ZHANG Zhonghua HAN Jianling QIAO Wenping SONG Yulin DING Xuehe WANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,6:1
