| 1 | Multiple Cropping Intensity in China Derived from Agro-meteorological Observations and MODIS Data显示文摘Double-and triple-cropping in a year have played a very important role in meeting the rising need for food in China.However,the intensified agricultural practices have significantly altered biogeochemical cycles and soil quality.Understanding and mapping cropping intensity in China′s agricultural systems are therefore necessary to better estimate carbon,nitrogen and water fluxes within agro-ecosystems on the national scale.In this study,we investigated the spatial pattern of crop calendar and multiple cropping rotations in China using phenological records from 394 agro-meteorological stations(AMSs)across China.The results from the analysis of in situ field observations were used to develop a new algorithm that identifies the spatial distribution of multiple cropping in China from moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer(MODIS)time series data with a 500 m spatial resolution and an 8-day temporal resolution.According to the MODIS-derived multiple cropping distribution in 2002,the proportion of cropland cultivated with multiple crops reached 34%in China.Double-cropping accounted for approximately 94.6%and triple-cropping for 5.4%.The results demonstrat that MODIS EVI(Enhanced Vegetation Index)time series data have the capability and potential to delineate the dynamics of double-and triple-cropping practices.The resultant multiple cropping map could be used to evaluate the impacts of agricultural intensification on biogeochemical cycles. | YAN Huimin XIAO Xiangming HUANG Heqing LIU Jiyuan CHEN Jingqing BAI Xuehong | 2014 | Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,2: | 11 |
| 2 | Spatio-temporal variations of the bacterioplankton community composition in Chaohu Lake, China显示文摘Despite considerable attention paid to Chaohu Lake in China, the dynamics of bacterioplankton community composition (BCC) on spatial and seasonal scales are poorly understood.In this study, water samples were collected from autumn 2006 to summer 2007 at five positions in Chaohu Lake with difierent trophic status.BCC of these samples was determined by both the PCR amplification of the 16S rDNA gene and the denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE).The abundance and diversity of bacterioplankton communities at difierent sampling positions showed similar seasonal patterns.The BCCs in the samples varied substantially, and the pattern of changes indicated that the seasonal difierence might have a significant impact on the BCC's structure in the lake.Canonical correspondence anal-ysis (CCA) on the DGGE patterns and physicochemical parameters indicated that the temperature and the levels of 5-d biochemical O2 demand (BOD5), NH3-N, CODMn, total nitrogen, total phosphorous, and dissolved oxygen significantly infiuenced the BCC, and four of the seven variables were related to the level of eutrophication.Our results indicate that eutrophic status and season are the most infiu-ential factors in determining BCC in Chaohu Lake. | Chaoling Wei Sumin Bao Xinyan Zhu Xiangming Huang | 2008 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2008,18,9: | 9 |
| 3 | Micromorphological Features of Diagnostic Horizons in Several soils in Southwest China: Implication for Soil Taxonomic Classification显示文摘The comparative studies on micromorphological features in diagnostic horizons of Stagnic Anthrosols, Ustic Ferrosols and Ustic Vertosols in southwestern China were conducted to underpin the rationale for Chinese Soil Taxonomy. The following findings were explored: (1) Stagnic Anthrosols had the specific micromorphological features, e.g., the humic formation in anthrostagnic epipedon, the platy structures in plow subhorizon, the secondary formation of ferromanganese and the weakly optical-orientation clay domains in hydragric horizon, etc.: (2) The groundmasses of ferric horizon in Ustic Ferrosols appeared in hue of 2.5YR or redder, and had pellicular grain structure; (3) Ustic Vertosols had a crust horizon (Acr), and crack structure dominated in Acr and angular blocky structure in disturbed horizon; (4) Because of the distinct differences in micromorphological features among these three soils, the specific micromorphological features might be employed as diagnostic horizons to differentiate soils while the quantifiable micromorphological features might potentially be selected as diagnostic indices for Chinese soil taxonomic classification. | XU Xiangming HE Yurong HUANG Chengmin XIONG Donghong | 2010 | Journal of Mountain Science2010,7,1: | 5 |

| 9 | A hybrid chemical modification strategy for monocrystalline silicon micro-grinding:Experimental investigation and synergistic mechanism显示文摘For high performance manufacturing of micro parts and features,a hybrid chemical modification strategy is proposed to decrease critical energy barrier of mechanical removal of hard and brittle crystal material by refining localized machining condition.The strategy,namely UVlight and IR-laser hybrid chemical modification(UVIR-CM)strategy,includes two steps,an ultraviolet light(UV-light)catalytic advanced oxidation and an infrared laser(IR-laser)assisted selective modification based on Fenton liquid–solid reaction for monocrystalline silicon.The modification effects of UVIR-CM strategy were investigated by surface morphology micro-observation,crosssection transmission electron microscopy(TEM)observation,Raman spectroscopy analysis and nanoindentation test.Experimental results demonstrated that varied degrees of laser texturing appeared on different strategy samples’IR-laser scanned area.And the IR-laser thermal damage has been successfully inhibited due to the refraction and reflection of energy by bubbles in liquid medium.But for the UVIR-CM strategy,a uniform and amorphous silicate layer is detected in a certain boundary.The UV-light promotes oxidation cycle ability of the chemical solution and ensures sufficient oxide modified layer for subsequent step.Attributing to synergism of photochemical,photothermal and kinetic effects induced by IR-laser,the modified layer displays layered structure with about 600 nm thickness,(2.7±0.60)GPa nanohardness,and(93.7±22.9)GPa indentation modulus.And the layered structure is amorphous layer,nanocrystal and micro-twins layer from the surface to the interior of sample.Consequently,it reveals that the subsequent mechanical removal will become easy due to decreasing energy barrier of monocrystalline silicon in selective area.Meanwhile,its original excellent mechanical properties also are maintained under a certain depth.The results contribute to develop a novel combined micro-machining technology to achieve collaborative manufacturing of structure shape and surface integrity for micro parts and feature. | Yinghui REN Kexin LI Wei LI Xiangming HUANG Xiaoman LIU Genyu CHEN Toshiro DOI | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,7: | 0 |
| 10 | ML-SLD:A message-level stateless design for cloud-native 5G core network显示文摘The Internet of Things(IoTs)has become an essential component of the 5th Generation(5G)network and beyond,accelerating the transition to digital society.The increasing signaling traffic generated by billions of IoT devices has placed significant strain on the 5G Core network(5GC)control plane.To address this issue,the 3rd Gener-ation Partnership Project(3GPP)first proposed a Service-Based Architecture(SBA),intending to create a flexible,scalable,and agile cloud-native 5GC.However,considering the coupling of protocol states and functions,there are still many challenges to fully utilize the benefits of the cloud computing and orchestrate the 5GC in a cloud-native manner.We propose a Message-Level StateLess Design(ML-SLD)to provide a cloud-native 5GC from an architectural standpoint in this paper.Firstly,we propose an innovative mechanism for servitization of the N2 interface to maintain the connection between Radio Access Network(RAN)and the 5GC,avoiding interruptions and dropouts of large-scale user data.Furthermore,we propose an On-demand Message Forwarding(OMF)al-gorithm to reduce the impact of cloud fluctuations on the performance of cloud-native 5GC.Finally,we create a prototype that is based on the OpenAirInterface(OAI)5G core network projects,with all Network Functions(NFs)packaged in dockers and deployed in a kubernetes-based cloud environment.Several experiments have been built with UERANSIM and Chaosblade simulation tools.The findings demonstrate the viability and efficiency of our proposed methods. | Keliang Du Luhan Wang Xiangming Wen Yu Liu Haiwen Niu Shaoxin Huang | 2023 | Digital Communications and Networks2023,9,3: | 0 |
